Tilda in Summer Rain

Hope you're doing well and enjoying the summer. It's still cold and rainy here in Norway....  Nothing to do about that! But, I have to admit that I'm really tired of waiting for summer.

Ich hoffe es geht euch gut und ihr genießt den Sommer. Hier in Norwegen ist es immer noch kalt und regnerisch...Dagegen kann man nichts machen! Aber ich muss zugeben, ich bin es leid, auf den Sommer zu warten!

Well, over to my card for you....
Nun zu meiner Karte für euch...

 This time I've made a shabby chic Magnolia-card. The beautiful papers are from Maja Design.
Dieses Mal habe ich eine Shabby-Chic Magnolia-Karte gemacht. Die wunderschönen Papiere sind von Maja Design.

 I've had this image for a long time, but never used it on a card before. I think this Tilda is very sweet:) She is from the Sweet Rainbow collection and is called Tilda In Summer Rain. Perfect for the Norwegian summer.....

Around the image I've made some of the raindrops with my Perfect Pearls. The photo-corners are cut out with an old QK-die.

Ich besitze dieses Motiv schon lange, habe es aber bisher noch nicht auf einer Karte verwendet. Ich finde diese Tilda wirklich süß:) Sie ist aus der Sweet Rainbow Collection und heißt "Tilda im Sommerregen". Perfekt für den norwegeischen Sommer...
Um das Motiv habe ich mit Perfect Pearls ein paar Regentropfen gesetzt. Die Fotoecken sind mit einer alten QK-Schablone ausgeschnitten.

Longing for summer...

Hope you are doing fine.
Ich hoffe, es geht euch allen gut.

Here in Norway we are still waiting for the summer to come. It's so cold outside that I still wear some of my winter clothes!! So this time I decided to make a summer card:)

Hier in Norwegen warten wir noch immer auf die Ankunft des Sommers. Es ist so kalt draußen, dass ich noch immer einige meiner Wintersachen trage! Daher habe ich mich entschlossen, eine Sommerkarte zu machen :).

The card is made on a white paperbag. I love making cards on paperbags, it's so fun.

The beautiful papers are from Maja Design,  an old collection called Crea Diem. I have put some lace and cheesecloth behind the image.

Die Karte ist aus einer weißen Papiertüte gemacht. Ich liebe es, Karten aus Papiertüten zu machen, es macht solchen Spaß.
Die schönen Papiere sind von Maja Design, eine alte Kollection namens "Crea Diem". Ich habe etwas Spitze und etwas Mull hinter dem Motiv eingefügt.



 The image is from MayzeArt and is called Molly and Boob. Did you get that summer feeling....?

Hair colouring tutorial

Hallo Copic-Freunde!

Today I'm going to show you some colour combinations for hair. There are a lot of combinations you can use for hair colouring. I decided to use my E tones for this tutorial, except one of the combinations. It's simply because these are the colours I use most.

Heute zeige ich Euch einige Farbkombinationen für Haare. Es gibt viele veschiedene Kombinationen zum Colorieren von Haar. Ich habe mich entschieden, für dieses Tutorial die E-Töne zu verwenden, mit Ausnahme einer der Kombinationen. Einfach, weil dies die Farben sind, die ich am meisten verwende.

I usually colour from light to dark when I colour hair. It works best for me.Others like to colour from dark to light. The  important thing is that you have fun with your way of colouring.

Normalerweise coloriere ich Haare von hell nach dunkel. Das fällt mir am leichtesten. Andere colorieren lieber von dunkel nach hell. Wichtig ist, dass Euch Euer Weg zu colorieren Spaß macht.

The image I've used for this tutorial is Tilda with Peony. I've  also used the same skin colours in all the examples:

This combination gives you a dark brown hair with golden stripes. One of my favourites!! I often use this when colouring Magnolia images.

Mit dieser Farbkombi erhaltet Ihr dunkelbraunes Haar mit goldenen Strähnen. Eine meiner Lieblingskombis!! Ich verwende diese oft, wenn ich Magnolia-Motive coloriere.
 

This gives a golden blond look.

Diese Kombi ergibt einen goldblonden Look.

The E40 tones also gives you dark brown hair, but no golden look.

Die E40-Töne ergeben ebenfalls dunkelbraunes Haar, aber ohne den goldenen Touch.

I think this combination is well known to those who have had Copics for a while. I use this a lot when colouring light blonde hair.

Ich denke, diese Kombination ist all denen sehr gut bekannt, die ihre Copics schon eine Weile haben. Ich verwende diese Kombi oft für hellblondes Haar.

This combination also gives dark brown hair. Also a favourite for my Magnolias!

Auch mit dieser Kombi erhaltet Ihr dunkelbraunes Haar. Auch dies ist eine meiner Favoriten für Magnolia-Motive!
 

 Finally, I will show you this combination for red hair. I learned this combination when I went to a Copic certification class. It's fantastic!! It's my first attempt with these colours and I'm pretty happy with the result. I will definitely use this combination again.

Zum Schluss möchte ich Euch diese Kombination für rotes Haar zeigen. Ich habe diese Kombination kennen gelernt, als ich an einer Copic Certification Class teilgenommen habe. Sie ist fantastisch! Es ist mein erster Versuch mit dieser Kombination und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Diese Kombi werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder verwenden!

Tilda With Heart Balloons

Today it's my turn to give you some inspiration again. I've made a shabby chic card for a girl.

Heute bin ich an der Reihe, Euch etwas Inspiration zu geben. Ich habe eine Shabby Chic Karte für ein Mädchen gemacht.

 A few days ago I bought some new papers from Maja Design. They are called Vintage Summer Basics, and they're really beautiful. I just had to use them on this card.

 Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich ein paar neue Papiere von Maja Design gekauft. Sie heißten Vintage Summer Basics und sie sind wunderschön. Ich mußte sie einfach auf dieser Karte verwenden.

It is a very long time ago since I have coloured an Magnolia image with my Copics. So I decided to use this cute, little Tilda for my card. She is from the Sweet Crazy Love collection and is called Tilda With Heart Balloons.

Es ist sehr lange her, dass ich ein Magnolia Motiv mit meinen Copics coloriert habe. Also habe ich beschlossen, diese süße, kleine Tilda für meine Karte zu benutzen. Sie ist ausder Sweet Crazy Love Kollektion und heißt "Tilda with Heart Balloons".

 I think I always end up colouring pink. I challenged myself to use another colour this time. And I really like the result!

Ich glaube, ich verwende immer die Farbe pink. Darum habe ich mich selbst herausgefordert und diesmal eine andere Farbe verwendet. Und ich mag das Resultat wirklich!
 

 In the middle of the balloons I've used a little colorless Blender. I wanted this area to be very light.

In der Mitte der Ballons habe ich etwas Colorless Blender verwendet. Ich wollte diesen Bereich sehr hell haben.

Inside the card you can see the beautiful papers from Maja Design. And there is also a Norwegian text. It means: You are unique.

Im Inneren der Karte könnt Ihr die wunderbaren Papiere von Maja Design sehen. Und dort ist auch ein norwegischer Text; er bedeutet: Du bist einmalig.

Colouring with Copics in combination with pencils, a tutorial

Today I'm going to show how you can give more live to your images by using pencils in combination with your copics. I haven't learned this in a class, just wanted to show you my way of doing this.

When I started coloring with Copics I'didn't have so many markers. Sometimes I was missing some colours to give my images the look I wanted to. I also found it very hard to use my darkest markers and get a good result. Then I used some Prismacolor Pencils in combination with my Copics.
Heute zeige ich euch, wie ihr mehr Leben in eure Motive bringen könnt, indem ihr Buntstifte mit euren Copics kombiniert. Ich habe das nicht in einem Kurs gelernt, ich möchte euch einfach zeigen, wie ich das mache. Als ich angefangen habe, mit Copics zu kolorieren, hatte ich noch nicht so viele Stifte. Manchmal fehlten mir genau die Farben, um mein Motiv so aussehen zu lassen, wie ich es wollte. Ich fand es auch schwierig, mit meinen dunkelsten Markern ein gutes Resultat zu erzielen. Da habe ich dann Prosmacolor Buntstifte mit meinen Copics kombiniert. 

Let's get started.... 

Lasst uns loslegen...

You need a image coloured with Copics.  This is Sweetheart Marci from LaLaLandcrafts. I have stamped her on Perfect Coloring Paper. 

Ihr braucht ein schon mit Copics koloriertes Motiv. Das ist Sweetheart Marci von LaLaLandcrafts. Ich habe sie auf Perfect Coloring Paper gestempelt.

For this tutorial I'm going to use only brown and grey tones on my pencils. I think they go well with most colors. I also use some thinner to fade the colors , a paper stump and some sandpaper. I need the sandpaper to clean the tip of my paper stump.

Für dieses Tutorial werde ich von den Buntstiften nur Braun- und Grautöne verwenden. Ich finde, sie passen gut zu den meisten Farben. Ich verwende auch Verdünnung, um die Farben zu verwischen, und etwas Sandpapier. Ich brauche das Sandpapier um die Spitze des Papierwischers zu reinigen.

First step is giving some live to her face. I use my Sienna Brown pencil and make lines at the parts I want to be darker.

Im ersten Schritt gebe ich ihrem Gesicht mehr Leben. Ich benutze mein Sienna Brown und male dort Linien, wo ich es etwas dunkler haben möchte.

Then I use my paper stump to fade out the lines. You have to dip it in the thinner before you start. Otherwise you will not be able to fade the color from the pencil.

Dann verwische ich die Linie mit dem Papierwischer. Man muss den Papierwischer zuerst in die Verdünnung. Sonst kann man die Farbe nicht verwischen. 

And her face is finished!

Und ihr Gesicht ist fertig!

I do it the same way with all the parts of her skin. Make sure you clean your paper stump after you used it on the face.

Ich mache das auf den anderen Hautflächen genauso. Achtet darauf, dass ihr den Papierwischer reinigt, nachdem ihr ihn für das Gesicht verwendet habt.

On her dress I've used Cool Grey 70% and 90%. And I've also used my paper stump to fade out the lines from the pencils.

Auf ihrem Kleid habe ich Cool Grey 70% und 90% verwendet. Auch hier habe ich die Linien mit dem Papierwischer verwischt.

On the hearts I used my Cool Grey 90% again.

Auf den Herzen habe ich wieder mein Cool Grey 90%  verwendet.

 And the hearts look like this after fading the lines out.

So sehen die Herzen nach dem Verwischen der Linien aus.

 On her hair I've used two different brown tones.Sienna Brown and Dark Umber.
Auf ihren Haaren habe ich zwei verschiedene Brauntöne verwendet, Sienna Brown und Dark Umber.

I start making lines with the lightest color, Sienna Brown. On her hair I don't use the paper stump and the thinner. I only make lines that follow the flow in her hair. You can see that her hair already has got a bit more live.

Ich ziehe zuerst mit der hellsten Farbe, Sienna Brown, Linien. Bei den Haaren verwende ich den Papierwischer und die Verdünnung nicht. Ich ziehe Linien, die dem Fall ihres Haars folgen. Ihr seht jetzt schon, dass das Haar lebendiger wirkt.

At the end I use the darkest brown, Dark Umber. With this one I also make small lines.

Dann benutze ich das dunkeltste Braun, Dark Umber. Ich mache damit auch kleine Striche. 

And this is what she looks like when her hair is finished!!

Und so sieht sie aus, wenn ihre Haare fertig sind!!

Sweet, little Suzi on a box!

Hello, Copic fans!

Today I want to show you a birthday card made for a girl.

Some time  ago I ordered some digi stamps designed by Sylvia Zet. I think they're all really beautiful.  I decided to color one of them for this card.

Heute möchte ich eine Mädchen-Geburtstagskarte zeigen.
Vor einiger Zeit habe ich einige Digi-Stempel von Sylvia Zet gekauft. Ich finde, sie sind alle wunderschön. Ich habe beschlossen, eines davon für diese Karte zu colorieren. 

 The image is called "Suzi". She's just adorable, isn't she...?

Das Motiv heißt "Suzi". Sie ist einfach zauberhaft, nicht....?

Her hair was really challenging to color. I'm not 100% happy about how it turned out. But, I really have tried to do my best. I realize that I have to practice more on hair coloring....lol....

Die Haare zu colorieren war wirklich eine Herausforderung. Ich bin nicht 100 % zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis aber ich habe wirklich versucht, mein Bestes zu geben. Ich stelle fest, dass ich das Colorieren von Haaren noch etwas üben muss.... LOL.....

For her dress I used some of my Warm Greys. I wanted it to have a soft and warm look. Actually I tried to make it look like it is white... Well.... It doesn't look white, but I'm still happy about it :)

Für das Kleid habe ich warme Grautöne verwendet. Ich wollte einen sanften und warmen Look. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich versucht, das Kleid weiß aussehen zu lassen... Nun, es sieht nicht weiß aus, aber ich bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden :)

Coloring bright and soft colors

Here comes my very first coloring tutorial, and I'm really nervous!... In fact, it's my first tutorial ever!!
Hier kommt mein erstes Kolorations-Tutorial und ich bin wirklich nervös!...Tatsache ist, es ist mein erstes Tutorial überhaupt!!

I'm going to show you my way to color clothes to give them a bright and soft look. I think bright and soft colors go well with the shabby chic style that I love.
Ich werde euch zeigen, wie ich  Kleidung koloriere und ihr dabei einen hellen und weichen Look gebe.

For this tutorial I'm using a Saturated Canary image called Becca and Bo. She is printed on Perfect Colouring Paper.
Für dieses Tutorial verwende ich ein Motiv von Saturated Canary namens Becca and Bo. Ich habe es auf Perfect Colouring Paper gedruckt.

I will show you how I color one part of Becca's dress. The other parts are colored in the same way, but different colors. Colors used for this part are: V0000, RV91, RV93 and a little of RV95.
An einem Teil von Beccas Kleid werde ich euch zeigen, wie ich koloriere. Die anderen Teile werden dann auf die gleiche Art koloriert, nur mit anderen Farben. Für das Teil habe ich die Farben Voooo, RV91, RV93 und ein wenig RV95 verwendet.

Here we go.............
Lasst uns loslegen.........

STEP 1:

Schritt 1:

I start with my V0000. My light source is coming from right, that's why I leave a little white area to the right side. This is going to be the lightest part in the end.
Ich beginne mit V0000. Meine Lichtquelle soll von rechts kommen, deshalb lasse ich auf der rechten Seite einen kleinen Bereich weiß. Das wird am Ende die hellste Stelle sein.




STEP 2:
Schritt 2:

Then I add RV91 to the areas I want to be darker.
Jetzt füge ich RV91 in den Bereichen hinzu, die ich dunkler möchte.

STEP 3:
Schritt 3:

Next step is to add RV93. I just add very little, I don't want a dark result!
Im nächsten Schritt füge ich RV93 hinzu, aber nur ein ganz kleines Bisschen, ich möchte ja kein dunkles Ergebnis!

STEP 4:
Schritt 4:

Then I add a little bit of my darkest color, the RV95, very close to the  left

edge where I want the darkest part. Again, I'm very careful with the RV95.
Jetzt füge ich ein kleines Bisschen RV95 hinzu, ganz nah am linken Rand wo ich die dunkelste Stelle haben möchte. Auch mit dem RV95 bin ich sehr vorsichtig.

STEP 5:
Schritt 5:

Then I use my RV93 again to blend with the RV95.
Dann benutze ich wieder RV93 um den Übergang zu RV95 zu verwischen.

STEP 6:
Schritt 6:

I use my RV91 to blend with the RV93.
Ich benutze RV91 um den Übergang zu RV93 zu verwischen.

STEP 7:
Schritt 7:

Finally I use my V0000 to blend with the RV91. Now I cover the whole area all the way to the right edge.
Zum Schluss verwende ich V0000 um den Übergang zu RV01 zu verwischen. Jetzt trage ich die Farbe auf der ganzen Fläche auf, bis zum rechten Rand.
