This is how I make the sketch into the real one. I do copy paste the sketch but with lil bit different details this time! I use big photo, I print it out 6x8 inch and do some layering around the photo.Instead of put my tittle in the top, I choose to paste the thickers in the bottom area close to the photo! I love this sketch so so much! Using big photo can help you to do fast scrap but still have some layers and some cuty embellishment in the page.

Tuesday Tutorial with Evelyn Pratiwi Yusuf - Playing with Mist

Hey everyone hope you have fantastic Tuesday. Today I’m going to share how to create fast layout under 30 minutes using your mists and Citrus Twist Kit April Main, embellishment kit and add on kit.

I already choose my color combo based on my photo that I’m going to use and choose the right mists that I want to use in this layout. No I’m not going to play with 2 mists but more than that, I’m going to play with 5 mists in the same time.

step by step

This is how I create my mists background. First you have to start splatter the mist one by one. Me start with the golden one by Heidi Swapp and splatter it to the place that I want, start from the middle of the paper to the top and bottom of it. Don’t scare to do it! Once you think you get the perfect result go take another mist and start in the same way. In the picture you will see I choose coral, orange, yellow and mint after I play with the gold one.

Tips is you can splatters the mists with same portion or different portion in each color. Me choose give the different portion in each color, you will see some mint color to make my background more pretty.

The next step after I play with mists is I decorate my photo. Don’t have to dry it or wait to long because the mists will dry faster than you think. To pop up the white card stock I choose to paste in on pattern paper.  Enjoy the details of my layout.

Sketch March

and my layout based on it

Yummy by evelynpy

I made just a few modifications to make the sketch work with my theme, I start to change the position of the tittle, I paste the thicker up side down

I use 2R photos not square just like the sketch and put some embellishments in bottom of the photos and also put some journal stickers.

In the bottom of the layout I did some layering to the stripes using black banner washi tape, paper and pink plastic ruler which you can find it in the main kit.

Pocket Life With Evelyn Pratiwi Yusuf

There always be the 1st time in our live to start something and yes this is my 1st post about Project Life here in CTK blog as their Designer Team. Today I wanna share how I created Project Life only in one page not one spread. Why I did this? Because I’m pregnant and can’t sit for a long time but still wanna play with paper and documented my daily life through project life. I think do only one page project life is one of the best way to catch up your daily life in real life and still productive to catch up your project life. Am I right? No need to create only one page, If you feels you have much time than go head to continue to create one spread.

Project Life Week 8 by Evelynpy

This is my Week 8, I use March 2014 Just Cruisin PL Kit, Nothing But Happy PL Embellishment Kit and I mix it with Happy Little Moments Embellishment Kit. I created my own weekly card, I trim 6x6 paper pad by Dear Lizzy. Not only weekly card but also another 3 cards, two in the top of my page and two in the bottom. The rest of it I use Project Life card special design by CTK.

This week its all about me and food. So I choose some of food photos and use it in this page. I’m not worry to use only 5 photos to describe my week. Sometimes project life isn’t all about you have to fill every single pockets with photo. If you have to choose why not? You will find similar photos and choose which one I the best to describe your week and do some description about it. You can show off your hand writing or you can type it via computer or using your cuty typewriter. Its all up to you, don’t stress and just having fun!

If we are talking about color theme, I choose yellow, soft pink and blue for my PL. I use my colors theme to choose the perfect card and embellishments to decorate my cards. I’m not really care about the photos, I believe that the photos will be match with any colors theme so I just confident to choose the one that I like.
