Stay Toasty~ The Digi Bistro Way

Hi everyone!
I have a quick tag to share with you using The Digi Bistro's
newest file~ A Very Penguin Christmas.
This file is filled with 12 new images that are just too cute not to use on a project!
Now I know I didn't cut a penguin (as per the file title) for this tag but I did use the adorable snowman instead.
I plan on attaching a Tim Horton's gift card to the back and give this as a teacher's gift.
He was cut using SCAL and my cricut and then embossed with my cuttlebug on his scarf and hat.
I buried him in a layer of snow that was topped with sparkly stickles :)
The sentiment is from Joy's Life~ Wintery Puns
A little more stickles for his hat, some white gel pen doodles and a satin ribbon completes this project.

I am off to make some more cookies....catch you all later!!

The Digi Bistro~ Reindeer Games Christmas Tags

Hi everyone
I have these adorable Christmas Gift Tags to share with you using The Digi Bistro's new file
Reindeer Games Christmas

OMG this file is so adorable and comes with 12 SVG's that are so stinkin cute!!
I needed some gift tags and these cuts were perfect for using up some scraps :)
My tags are all 4" and cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More
I used PKS~ Christmas Tag Mini's for the To and From
Sheer ribbon from my stash and all PTI card stock from my stash
So I cut the ornament at 3"
The tree at 3.25"
and the stocking at 2.5"
I inked the edges and used my white gel pen for some extra doodles

The present was cut at 2.25"
The reindeer at 3.75" and the
Mistletoe at 3"
Again I inked all the edges and added my white gel pen.

I can not decide which of these cuts I like more...they are all so adorable but I am so so so loving this little guy!
The best thing about this project was they were so easy to put together.
The files are super easy to use and my tags are very basic (which is what I wanted)
but the possibility to embellish these cuts are endless!!

So if you like these tags...head over to The Digi Bistro and pick up your own set!!

There is another new set also...A Very Penguin Christmas that I plan on playing with in the next few days....I just couldn't pass these up.
Awesome Job Cher!!

This to That Challenge #10~ Anything Goes w/ Twine

Morning Everyone!!

It is time for another This to That Challenge over at

This weeks challenge is
Anything Goes with a Twist~
You must use some Twine
The Digi Bistro DT was very lucky to have received some Twinery Twine to use for our projects
so thanks Twinery!! I love your twine!!

Here is my card

"Whoo" thinks this is too cute?!

I just love the new owl that is on the Autumn Harvest file which should be in The Digi Bistro store really soon!
So I used that adorable owl and cut him out and all his layers at 3"
The DP is from Cosmo Cricket~Social Stack.  I won this stack a while back and have yet to dive into the beautiful papers. Love it!!
I inked the edges and attached the owl with foam dots.
On my card base I stamped my sentiment using a dollar find from I believe Michael's
I attached some simple matching buttons and added Cappuccino Twine to each one.
My owl was missing something so I used a tag from the Tag It! file...
I welded 2 together so the punch out was on either side (I did use my hole punch to make it bigger for the eyelets)
I also stamped this with a dollar stamp find and again attached it with Cappuccino Twine so it looked like my owl was holding a sign.

So I hope you like my card and will join us this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Treat Boxes Blog Hop!

Good Morning Everyone!!

It is time for the Halloween Treat Boxes Blog Hop hosted by Sylvia over at Bella Scrapbook Designs.
If you came from Julie's Blog you are right on track...If you want to start from the beginning head back over to Sylvia's  because you will not want to miss any of the amazing Halloween inspired projects being shared today.

I made 2 projects today because I just LOVE this time of year....all the fall colors...the yummy treats and the excitement the kids share in Halloween :)

For my first project I made a Test Tube Candy Holder.
I found and downloaded the file for this over at Happy Life Happy Wife
I just fell in love with Tamara's project that I wanted make one also...with my own Twist :)

All the cut files are from The Digi Bistro~ a new SVG Cut file store owned by Cher.
She has awesome files that I just LOVE designing with each week! (Yes..I am a DT member with a fab group of 7 other talented ladies)

So all the paper is from DCWV~ The Ghost and Goblin Stack.
The cuts are from Halloween Town and Pick your Poison
I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot for all the pattern paper
Stickles to add bling to the cat.
Goggle eyes for the bat and ghost and alittle white gel pen doodles.
The test tubes I found at my local stamp store and after I had everything done, photographed and all ready to go I realized one has a clear top and the other has a white top :(

I love the way this came out and my kids are fighting over who gets to take this to their teacher!!

Here is my second project
I used the Milk Carton Cut file from The Cutting Cafe
and paper again from DCWV~ The Ghost and Goblins Stack.
I added some clear plastic behind the spider cut so my goodies wouldn't spill out.
The Crinkle Ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam~ I just love the colors (this one is Harvest Orange) and I just placed another order with Julie for more of her ribbon!
I also added some Trendy Twine
and the sentiment is from My Creative Time~ All Around Halloween
The finishing touches are some stickles around the spider and on the spider in the sentiment.

So I hope you like my Halloween Treat Boxes!
I had so much fun making these and sharing them with you!

Post #2 ~~~ This to That Challenge Day over at Cher's Studio's

Morning everyone!
This is my second post today....for my sneak peaks of BugBites new stamp set Mistletoe click here or scroll down :)

It is time for a new Challenge over at Cher's Studio featuring The Digi Bistro DT!
This to That Challenge #7 is Tag You're It
This challenge is all about tags...placing a tag somewhere on your project.
Your tag can be a scallop circle, square, oval....anything that is a tag.
It needs to be incorporated somewhere on your card.
Remember you do not have to use a file from The Digi Bistro but if you haven't yet been over to the store you should check it out...and pick up a file or two.
They are so very easy to use and Cher has lots of great cuts!!

For my card I made a Diagonal Double Pocket Card. I found the tutorial here from Splitcoaststampers.
The paper used is My Minds Eye~Pumpkin Patch and Blackbird.
I have to say I just LOVE this paper. So much so that I didn't want to cut it :(
I am off to buy more just to have...it is so cool looking!

The tags were cut using...guess what?!?! LOL
Tag It! from The Digi Bistro
I also used Pick Your Poison set for the pumpkin
and
Halloween Town for the scallop label.
The sentiment is from Fiskars~ Halloween Night Stamp set.

This was a fun fun fun card to make and it is so very easy!!

Now please hop over to Cher's Studio and check out everyone else's project...
then make your own project using a tag and link it up.
I hope you like my card and will join us this week.

Thanks for stopping by and see you all later :)

This to That Challenge #6~ Flowers and Bling

Good Morning everyone!
It is time for another This to That Challenge over at Cher's Studio featuring

Carley from The Real iCarley is our blog host for this week and all the details for this weeks challenge can be found over on her adorable blog! Make sure you head over there (after looking at my card) for all the details, the other DT's projects and to link up your project.

This weeks challenge is Flowers and Bling
The DT are all using flowers from The Digi Bistro and Cher has a whole bunch of adorable flowers to choose from.
Our card could be for any occasion~birthday, fall, thank you....anything
BUT
we had to add some bling AND make our flower 3D.

Here is what I came up with.
I wanted to design a CAS card to showcase the flower.
I used the Simply Tweet set
and cut the flower out at 4".
I then broke the flower apart and cut 8 more petals to use for the 3D flower.
Here's a closeup of the flower.
I used white cardstock, sprayed it with silver and purple glimmer mist (my Bling) as well as inked the edges with purple ink.
The petals are held together with a purple glittery brad (also my Bling)

This is the video I used to make my flower. Love the way it came out :)

So I hope you like my card and will play along with us this week.
Remember you do not have to
~use a file from The Digi Bistro
~cards can be combined with stamps or die cuts
~if you dont own any 3D flowers consider purchasing a file from The Digi Bistro
I know you will love all Cher's files~ I know I do :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT day :)

Morning Everyone!!
Are you ready for another This to That Tuesday Challenge over at Cher's Studio.
The Digi Bistro's DT has some adorable
Fall Easel Cards
to share and hope you will join in and play along this week.

Carley~ my fellow DT sister is the mastermind behind this weeks challenge. Thanks Carley :)
So again the Challenge is to
Make an Easel Card all things Fall using any cutting files, stamps or embellishments.
~~Birds, leaves, Halloween....whatever comes to mind as fall to you~~

The DT will all be showcasing some of Cher's awesome SVG files from The Digi Bistro.
Don't have any files from The Digi Bistro?
You can always enter a challenge for the chance to win some or follow us on FB where Cher is always having a contest giving away mini sets.

So here is my Easel Card closed...Aww what a cute monster right?!?!
And here it is open

 Now for the details...
I used the Pick Your Poison SVG set
as well as the "Beware" sentiment which is not pictured but is also on this set.
I hid the beware to leave the center free for another sentiment or personal note.
My little monster was stamped with PK~691 Make a Monster Face
and his eyes, mouth and feet were painted using Creative Inspirations Winter Frost Paint to give it some glimmer.
My DP is SEI~ Monsterville Monster Mash. Love all those eyeballs :)
The sentiment bubble is also from SEI's Monsterville series...I just stamped "Halloweenie" using My Creative Time's All Around Halloween Stamp Set
I didn't have matching ribbon so I made my own using white grosgrain ribbon and my copics
C10 and YR04
I also added some Trendy Twine stitching for alittle more texture.

Fall to me means the change in leaves...the cooler temps...apple picking...pumpkin picking and
HALLOWEEN!! What about you...what does Fall mean to you?

I hope you enjoyed my project and will head over to Cher's Studio to check out what the other DT members created and to link up your "Fall" Easel Card

Back to school time for my boys today and I wanted to make something little for them to take to their teachers :) ~ Nothing like a little kiss up right from the beginning right!?!?!

I made Milk Cartons  using a file from The Cutting Cafe.
Not too long ago Regina had a special...all the milk cartons for one price...yup I jumped at the chance and purchased them all.
This is the plain one I cut out on paper from Me & My Big Idea's
The background frame is cut from Gypsy Wanderings at 2.6" and then stamped with SU Petite Patterns in Mellow Moss Ink
The apple is from Create a Critter, cut at 1.96" and stamped with PK~491 Everyday Character Faces
I did add some white gel pen to the faces and Creative Inspirations Paint in Winter Frost.
The tag was cut from The Digi Bistro's Tag It! SVG file at 2.5" and inked with Mellow Moss, painted with Winter Frost and stamped with Memento Ink~Afterthoughts sentiments from SU.
The whole this was put together with red line tape, filled with Hershey bars and tied up with Martha Stewart Fern Seam Binding.

Hope the teachers enjoy their treats :)

The Digi Bistro~ This to That Challenge #4~~~Halloween Tag

Morning everyone!

It is time for another This to That Challenge over at Cher's Studio
This weeks challenge was to make a Halloween tag using Cher's super cute and totally adorable Pick your Passion SVG set. Lucky for you guys this set will be available on The Digi Bistro this Friday September 9th.

Ok so here is my tag.....
I used the tag shape on the file for the base (BTW Cher is coming out with tags also....I'll keep you posted as to when they are in the store!)
and this so super adorable bat.
Isn't he just the sweetest :)....wait till you see all the other images on this file!
Anyways I cut the bat out at 3 1/2" and attached all his layers to my tag which measure 5 1/2"
I had to give my bat some movement so he is on an action wobble!
The paper is Echo Park and I love the coordinating double sides.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time~All Around Halloween Stamp set.
I added some eyelets to the corners and Trendy Twine and Black ribbon for the top.
Don't forget some googly eyes and white gel pen doodles :)

Such a super fun file to work with and I think an adorable tag.

So make sure you head over to Cher's Studio and link up your Halloween Tag.
