Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends!
It's been awhile since my last post.  I was struck down with the flu that lasted for about 14 days.  I was so sick and literally couldn't get out of bed.  I am finally on the mend and hoping to be back to my normal self very soon.
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release and this new set called, Llamazing Llamas, is adorable! I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it.  I used the new Antique Frames to "frame" him out! ;)  I wanted the colors of the frame to match perfectly, so I used the same Copic colors on the frame.
I adhered the frames to my black card and stamped the sentiment directly onto the frames.  I popped up my llama with Crafty Foam Tape.  I tied twine, added a button, and a few clear droplets to finish off the card.
Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday Princess!

Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
I have a card today that showcases Whimsy Stamp's new Bling Queen.  I stamped it a no line ink and colored it with Copics.  I fussy cut it out. The background was vintage music paper that I gave a wash of Gesso to. The edges were dipped in Versamark Ink and embossed in gold. I sprayed some Distress ink sprays in Kitch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry. Once the panel was dry, I used the new Stardust Swirl Die.  Gold glittery paper was adhered under it to give it a bit of extra glam. I cut an extra frame from the gold paper using the Mitered Frames.  I wanted to be sure to "ground" the dress.
What I love about this dress set is the second layer you can add to the skirt.  I wanted the texture to be subtle, and hopefully you can see it.  I stamped it in Versamark and embossed it in clear embossing powder.   I added flowers and leaves to the dress using the Grass Frames Die set.

Thank you for stopping by today!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving my American Friends!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release! (And a little wedding too!)

Good morning friends!
I have been down with the flu since Thursday and can't seem to shake it.  My entire weekend got sidelined.  It is so bad, I don't even have the energy to craft! (Yikes!)
Fortunately, I made this card before getting sick.
It uses Whimsy's new set called, Moose You, by Dustin Pike. Such a cute whimsical set!
I colored the in using Copics and colored the entire sky behind them black.  I added puffy paint to the ground and heat it up.  The heart was part of the Puppy Paws Die Set. I cut it out of red paper and added Glossy Accents to it. The patterned paper behind it is part of the Christmas Eve 6 x 6 Paper Pack.
To see the full release, be sure to head on over to Whimsy Stamps!
Before you head on over, I do have some wedding pictures of my son and his bride below.  Oh! and a few of my sweet Cort.

My son before the ceremony...

I love that Cortney was included and loved throughout the entire wedding.

Gingerbread Boy Christmas Box!

Hello friends!
I have a fun Christmas box to share with you today.  It uses Whimsy Stamp's new Gingerbread Fun set! I pulled out my colored pencils for this project for a change of pace.  I fussy cut him out and added googly eyes.  I created the box using the Hexagon Treat Box and kraft card stock.  I added red and light blue card stock to the box using the Nested Hexagon Die set.  The light blue was given a bit of texture using the Sweater Embossing Folder.
I added glossy accents to the globe, jingle bells tied to silk ribbon, and puffy paint to the Gingerbread Boy's icing.
Thank you all so much for stopping by today!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello everyone!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release day!
So many fun winter and Christmas sets!
I used this adorable new Snowball Family set. I stamped it on dark blue paper with Versamark and embossed it in white.  I added a bit of Stickles to them and a small carrot for their noses from the  24Carrot Easter Confetti set.
I added a small heart using the Puppy Paws Die set.  I gave it a coating of glossy accents and once dry, added a white gel highlight. Twine was tied to the top and a bit of faux stitching to finish off the card!
Be sure to pop on over to Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
Have a wonderful day!

Love, Peace. Joy

Hello friends!
I have a Christmas card to share with you today using Whimsy Stamp's Peace, Love, Joy Die set.  I die cut the letters using gold glittery paper. I adhered it to lime green paper die cut using the Rounded Rectangles Die set.  I went for a nontraditional color scheme because sometimes it's fun to mix it up a little.  ;)  For a bit of interest and texture, I used the Slimline Embossing Folder-Sweater with a dark blue card stock.  It makes it look all cozy and warm!
I felt my card was a bit plain, so I added some glittery snowflakes from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border Die set.  I added a bit of colored Confetti from the Falling Leaves Confetti Mix for a few pops of color.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I will share some wedding pictures soon!
Be sure to check out Whimsy Stamp's new release!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Good morning friends!
Today is Whimsy Stamp's new release!  It includes so many fantastic Christmas products!
This set had so many cute images I decided to use all of them on my card. ;) It is called, Comfort and Joy.  It was colored with Copics. I added glossy accents and Stickles. Did you know that if you heat up glossy accents it bubbles?  (Happy accident.... ;) I loved how it turned out in the punch bowl! I added some red satin ribbon, jingle bells, and a snowflake from the Elegant Snowflakes and Border Die set.
We are still recovering from the wedding, and my son returns to the Naval Base in Georgia today.
I will post pics soon!
For now, be sure to visit Whimsy Stamps to see their full release!
