Wordless Wednesday

The tube

I mastered the tube!

Well, sort of.

The other day we showed the tube I liked to play with. I used to get inside of it and roll around. At the very beginning when I just had arrived here, Siena gave me biteys in the butt when I was in there. Ahh, fun! Then I stopped playing with it, mostly because the dangling acorn inside allways fell off and mom got tired of fixing it again and again and again.

Now we got a new and improved version with a button on an elastic string fixed to the tube's inside! Yay, the 21st century has arrived to our appartement!!! Wohooo!!!
Here you see the tube and me together. It looks as if I don't fit in there anymore, doesn't it? Here's a short video to show that I nonetheless tried:

The tube is by the way a left-over piece from the making of our cat-tree. It's the inside of it to be exact. Mom got it for free from a store that sells carpets. The carpets are measured by length and are rolled around the tube. There were several sizes of tubes to be thrown away and mom picked the longest one of 4 meters. She then happily transported her treasure home - on her bike! I think mom is crazy too!

Let the games begin

Boy oh boy, you wont believe what happened! We received a package from Laila and Minchie!The package alone smelled terrific! It came a long way from Chi-Town!

Mom opened it up for us, but couldn't see what was in it, because we both immediately checked it out! Look how we squeeze into the box together!!!

Our floofy furriends sent us some catnip puffs! Chilli was hogging the box and Siena went straight for the catnip puffs.Then we saw the real thing: Our furry own play cubes!!!Siena went in first. Look at those cool colours: Fresh and girly - purrfect!At first we were carefully checking out the...

...beautiful cubes. Then the cube wars began!

Mom added the catnip puffs to the mix. Siena totally nipped out on them!!! They are great to carry around and chase.

I like to play rough! I played with the cubes and the puffs for three hours in a row. Tumbling them over and over. Siena had to sleep off her nip rush, she really overdid it. As you can imagine mom took a zillion of photos. We will show more videos and pics tomorrow!

Look at the lovely card Laila, Minchie & their mom sent us. They are the sweetest!

We love everything: The cubes, the puffs, the card and of course the box! Laila and Minchie's mom offered to send us cubes when we commented that they are not available here in Germany. Can you imagine that she declined that we pay her and asked us to do a donation to a cat shelter instead?!!! She is such a generous and cat loving person!

Just look how we ended up sleeping! We are reknown for intermingled sleeping positions but this tops everything! We are so exhausted and happy!

THoE is the best!

Yesterday we played a lot. Isn't THoE just the greatest game?

Chilli managed to make me jump TWO times, pawing me from inside that box. I have to pay more attention! She is growing strong and tall so fast...Don't fall for her cuteness... DON'T! Oh no: Too late - she already got you!

I had to use my lasers to keep little Crazy Cat under control. She is such a devil in disguise!

But she's the sweetest devil of all! Cats in boxes are the funniest thing.
