She dragged this rusty old chair out from way back in the woods!! Apparently someone used to dump there junk back there. My first thought was to tell her to drag it back to where she found it or put in the dumpster for the trash man to cart away.
On second thought...she really thought I would love it and to spare her feelings I plopped it in the garden.
After all...
After all...
Who doesn't like a little rust
and chippy paint
in the garden
Oh, and does anyone know what these yellow flowers are called? One just magically appeared there a couple years back and now they are going crazy. I think they are very pretty, but they are taking over fast!!

Need a closer pic of those yellow flowers, but the rusty chair is a great find!
Your daughter is very very clever and artistic, that's great...xxx
Great find with that chair! Snaps to your daughter! I will take a guess on the flowers, even though I am not sure. How about buttercups! Have a wonderful day!
I too like a little rust in the garden. They go hand in hand. Do need a little closer view of the plant to i.d.
Hi Jen.... Glad you enjoyed the Charlevoix pics! Yes, you should make a trip Up- North girl!!! Your daughter has a thrifters heart. She knows a treasure when she sees it!!! The flowers are BUTTERCUPS, and Yes they do spread, the word Invasive comes to mind actually. Ha! They sort of took over in our last yard. I loved them when they were in bloom, and then the leaves and all turn red towards fall...they just kind of take care of themselves, not a high maintenance flower which is nice! Have the best day, xoxo~Kathy, Up-North.

Gee, I wish my cat would dray those kind of things home and not the yucky kind :) I just love that little nook in your garden. I need a close up of the yellow flower.

Love the chair, glad you didn't toss it out, what a great addition to your garden. Wish the photo of the flower was a little closer, it's beautiful!

I think I'll have your cat come visit me with the clutter she drags in.. *wink*
I love how it just fits, don't you? Perfectly place and belongs there.
That chair looks fabulous hiding behind that hosta! Great find! :)
Well, I certainly do! If I could train a cat to bring such cool things home I might have to get one. Great stuff!
I love that old chair....I would give it a little spary paint for a pop of color, then I would sit there with my coffee feeling rather pleased with the "new" treasure. (I really would)Bless her sweet little heartfor the rescue:) My daughter would sink down in her seat in the car when I would pick up those wonderful roadside finds. She was just sure a classmate would see her.
