Pretty in Pink Christmas - Bedrooms

Hello again!

Thank you so much for visiting my PRETTY IN PINK Christmas Home Tour

As promised, I will be sharing more of our Christmas decorations thru out the home today starting off with the BEDROOM.

Like I mentioned, I finished this room this November for the One Room Challenge, and since it's practically new, I just added a few touches of Christmas here and there.

Snowflake ornaments on the mantel and shelves...

Snow flake light on the window

I placed this PB pillow here
I changed my bedding to grey and pink to go with my "pink Christmas"theme

Over at Sophia's room, no need for additional Pink since it already is!

She chose what type of tree she wanted

I love this decor I scored from the Target Wondershop last year
And finally my son's room...

I love the vintage wooden soldiers on the bedside tables

His favorite Santa, Jack Skellington

And of course, his Charlie Brown Christmas tree
I still have one more Christmas post to share with you, the kitchen particularly, so I hope you come back. I want to share with you too a NIGHT TIME TOUR of our home.  I think at night, the home just looks somewhat more magical!

Have a Great week!

Mini Kitchen Tour

Ok, just a brief break on all the Holiday Frenzy we've been enjoying in.

When I share with you our Living Room HERE, you may have noticed the little kitchen beside our tree...

It is obviously a gift for Sophia, since she has loved pretend cooking already so much!
We ordered our play kitchen thru Amazon and it originally looked like this...

Contemporary Play Kitchen
I like the espresso cabinets since once it moves into our own real kitchen, it will go well with the other cabinetry. However, I made some 'upgrades' on this little cutie...

First, I sprayed the handles, hooks and the Chalkboard my favorite GOLD!
Even my husband agreed that it looked so much more warm with this quick change.

Second, I changed the backsplash 'tile' into marble!
I used left over contact paper for that.
I also added battery-operated puck lights under the open shelving and inside the refrigerator!

Lastly, I added these Dollar store bins to store the different types of food she has in her refrigerator!

And as you can see here, this Christmas gift has been put to good use by it's little owner!

Hope you all have a Great Weekend Friends!

Please don't forget to check out the ongoing tours for the...

The Link-up party for your home is on DECEMBER 16TH, so excited to see your entire home for the holiday season!

Christmas in the Kitchen - Santa's Kitchen

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones!

And of course, the day after Thanksgiving (other than Black Friday Shopping of course), marks the official start of Christmas Season! Hooray!!!

And as you've seen last week, I have been on a decorating frenzy for Christmas and have shared with you the rooms that have only "subtle" decorations ( Library HERE & Bedroom HERE). well that all changes today. ;-)

Let's start of with our Kitchen Christmas Decorations!

My Modern Santa's Kitchen
Because of my little daughter, I wanted to have a kid-fun Christmas and the kitchen is no exception.

Do you see what I see up above?

Yup, my milk glass collection got it's rest and my Christmas village is out!

I spray painted some of the gold houses red and pink since they will blend in the background if I didn't.

Santa is everywhere!

What's a Christmas kitchen without sweets? A lot of mine aren't real though! ;-)

Hot Cocoa Station is a must during Christmas and winter in our household

Added LED lights underneath my crystal cake stand and topped it with my sweet ornaments

I added some of my snowflake ornaments around the chandelier by the sink!
Our Simple Advent Calendar

Moved my, I mean, Mrs. Santa's Brass Collection atop the Office area...

... and added snowflakes all around
I switched the chairs out too from the Dining room to the Breakfast area.
The North Pole is Ice cold and I think the "Ice Chairs" are perfect right now.
Snowflakes on the ceiling as well cast a beautiful glow at night!

Of course the lighting got some tinsel too!

The first Christmas tree that went up in our household -literally
I added 4 sets of LED lights on this baby and also sewed on (yes I do sew, a little) little jingle bell ornaments on.
I had to hang it way up since little Sophia went crazy jingling the whole thing when it wasn't hung way up!

Added Natural garland on my windows - simple and pretty I think.

Mistletoe and pinecones smell oh-so-heavenly at this time.
I hope you enjoyed this room tour!
