snoozing

So we were shopping during Mathias' nap time today and therefore he wasn't going to get one. Usually on the days that he misses his nap we just put him to bed an hour earlier and it seems to work out just fine. However, when we got home from shopping he asked me to turn on the TV. I said in a minute hoping that he would just start playing with his toys because I really didn't want to turn the TV on. He watches it enough as it is. Suddenly it got very quiet so I called out to him from the other room and asked him what he was doing. He didn't answer right away so I asked again. He told me that he was sitting on the rocking chair waiting for the TV to be turned on. I waited a few more minutes and when I walked out to the living room this is how I found him. Rocking chair reclined, legs crossed and arms folded behind his head and fast asleep. I just thought it was so cute I had to take a picture . He ended up getting his nap after all even though it was pretty late, he just went to bed a bit later. I sure do love this (not so) little guy!
