Wonder-Car.

This is a nice piece of original Ron Turner art. From Whizzer and Chips? Was just going through my old files and came across this image that I 'borrowed' from the Compalcomics site a while ago. Some of the word balloons have fallen off but you can see the stain from the glue on the pages. I love the way RT drew machinery. Go here to see more of his work. I'd love to see a Space Ace reprint. From Whizzer and Chips dated January 29th 1977. Art by the great Ron Turner, who was (in my opinion) a fantastic sc-fi artist. Seems to be a bit sad seeing him on this kind of earth-bound story. As far as I can remember most of his work appeared in black and white during the 70s. Gone were the days of Rick Random and full-colour Dalek strips. Have a look here for more examples of his work.
