Would you rather spend a beautiful November weekend outside looking at the sky and leaves....
enjoying what may very well be the last warm weekend of the season...
Or would you rather spend such a weekend at an indoor baseball tournament??
Well, a mother has to do what a mother has to do and when it leads to this:
It's all worth while!
And it wasn't all that bad, for in between games I was able to get a good start on the new Thanksgiving piece by the Heartstring Samplery called "Let Us Be Truly Thankful"
And while stitching on this between some nerve-wracking, nail-biting games, I thought about how truly thankful I am for these:
For without them, my beautiful fall weekends would be empty.
Many thanks to all of you for the wonderful welcome and support that I have received since I decided to start sharing my life with you.

What a beautiful blog. You certainly know what to be thankful for!
Those boys must keep you busy! Great pics and congrats on the win! Yes, the things mothers do!!! Love your WIP.
Those guys look like they do keep you busy! Cherish those weekends and all those special times because truly in the blink of an eye, they will be grown and out on their own. Nice start on your Thanksgiving piece. I have a giant lull in my stitching from those years of children's sports and activities.
Now that is one big trophy, Catherine! Congratulations to your son on his big win :)
You are one busy mom, now, but that time is gone so quickly--enjoy each and every moment with them while you can. I actually quit stitching altogether for a good 10 years when my life was crazy-busy with the kids, work, remodeling our house, etc. Didn't get back into it until 2003 when I did a special anniversary piece for my parents and, well, the rest is history!
Your Thanksgiving start is beautiful--hope you can finish it before next week :)
I agree, whereever my boys are is where I am happiest.
Looks like those boys must keep you busy! At least you got some stitching in!

Woo-hoo! Congrats to your son ! Did you have to pull the trophy home on a wagon? ! Gee whiz! I get he's proud! Love the stitching!
