Constipation

Dear Lilly,

I am looking forward to a lot of firsts with you and food:

• First taste of ice cream (you have 2 wks to redeem that promise, Grandpa)
• No more baby milk, only grown-up food
• Ethnic food (all the stuff your dad does not like...I need an ally)
• and so much more.
  

I am NOT looking forward to some of your bodily reactions. Constipation is not fun for any of us.

Your poor body will need some time to adjust. Between your dada's pepperoni pizza (which you totally swiped), chex mix, and bread, your body has had enough. You will probably have many moments of regrets with food; after all, you are human.

Oh, my daughter. I ached with you every minute of pain and constipation today. Mama loves you so very much....even when she got out the glove. Remember, "let it go, this too shall pass."
