It's time for another fabulous challenge at Pile It On and this time we are asking for you concentrate on "wrapping" the gifts instead of making the cards.
We had a fabulous sponsor in Stitchy Bear Stamps that made it super easy to create some fabulous projects for you.

Pile It On - Get Well Soon with Magnolia
Happy Sunday,
Another week has gone by and it's time for another challenge at Pile It On and this week we'd like you to create a Get Well Card or gift.

Your Next Stamp want Spring colors
Inky Impressions want you to Think Spring
Gingersnaps wanted 3 Colors you like and right now I need some Spring so the Green, Yellow and White combo me likey :)

I colored the buttons on the flowers, the pearls, the heart brads and the ribbon all with Copic markers to match the image.
The paper roses have been distressed with chalk ink and a little marker added too.
More of the cute dp inside with a message mat.
I don't know if you can see but Tilda has shiny boots and umbrella and glossy accents on the raindrops too.
You never know when you might need a Get Well Soon card so this is the perfect time to make one for your stash and join in with our challenge at Pile It On.

Hippity Hoppity Easter's On Its Way! - Another Sassy Cheryl card
Happy Saturday,
This is my second try out card for the Design Team at Sassy Cheryl's.
Even if I don't make the team I'm so glad to have found her designs as they have a fun combination of childhood playfulness and a little attitiude :)
I found a few challenges to help me with my task:
Crafts 4 Eternity had a recipe of a Sketch, Chipboard and Polka Dots
Crafty Anns had "If Music Be The Food of Love" as their theme and I chose the sentiment from the "Peter Cottontail" song
Stamping Vacation had their Pick 3 and I chose; 3 of same embellishment, glitter, use a Quote (I hope part of a song, very well known, works for this)
Staceys Curtain Call Color Combo was So Saffron, Going Gray, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and More Mustard.
A Spoon Full of Sugar had a Springtime theme
Creative Inspirations want you to "Say It In Sepia"
Little Paper Shop wanted Distressing
Tuesday Throwdown wanted Distressing too
Saturday Spotlight wanted Distressing too
Alota Stamps also wanted you to Distress it!
Card Recipe:
Image - Butterfly Bunny from Sassy Cheryls
Paper - K&Co
Border Punch - Fiskars Threading Water
Chipboard Eggs - American Crafts
Glitter - Scattered Straw Distress Stickles
Medium - Copic Markers
Ribbon - Offray
Sentiment - Printed, Poor Richard font
Inside is more dp and a message mat.
I printed the bunny on Vanilla Bazzil cardstock which helped give a different look and worked well with the distressed feel.
I hope you've liked this little guy, run over to Cheryl's store and see what she has, there are bound to be a few image just ready to jump in your cart! LOL

This time the recipe is:

Cute Card Thursday had a color combo of Pink and Grey
Bee Crafty wanted your Favorite Color combo and a digi image

Secret Saturday Crafter had a "Musical" theme and I think the sentiment on this card works for that ;)
Raise The Bar is a brand new challenge and they wanted you to "Debut" something and this image is super new and it's definitely making its Debut!
Dare U 2 Digi wanted to see Buttons and so did Little Paper Shop. I used my Buttons border embossing folder and I hope that counts!
Daring Cardmakers had a Hole In One theme
Crafty Ann wanted to see some Embossing
and so did Practical Scrappers
A Spoon Full Of Sugar wanted to see "Lots of Layering"
Creative Card Crew want you to "Punch It!" and so do Simon Says Stamp
Belli wanted Hearts
As a cat love I just couldn't resist using one the fabulous new images from Lily Boo's Cat Collection
I colored her with Copic's and gave her a very regal bow to go with her regal look! LOL
The dp is Imaginisce "Fairest of the All" which I thought was fitting for the Princess ;)
I used Martha Stewarts Valentines Lace border punch to create "Paper Lace" in two different widths to fit with the sketch. I added a row of embossed Buttons from the Cuttlebug border folder and added silver to the "holes" on the buttons. Then I added a few pink rhinestones for an even more "girly" feel.
Finally I printed out the sentiment and cut and nested it with a scalloped circle Nestie.
I added a few more touches of silver with my Prismacolor pen.
Inside is more of the super sweet dp and a message mat.
Here's a close up of "Her Royal Highness"! LOL
Be sure to go and play in my challenge at Cooking It Up With Katie as you'll have a chance to win the image set this kitty came from or your choice of any set that you can see at Lily Boo's Boutique!

It's time for another challenge over at my Cooking It Up With Katie card recipe blog.
This time the recipe is:
1. Use a "non human" image
2. Add some texture
3. Use a product you've never used before.
As always I couldn't stop at just one challenge and had to add just a couple (20!) more! LOL
Friday Sketchers had a super sketch
Corrosive wanted you to "Go Digi"
Cute Card Thursday had a color combo of Pink and Grey
Bee Crafty wanted your Favorite Color combo and a digi image
Incy Wincy wanted your favorite coloring medium
Paperplay had a "Furry Friends" theme
Crafty Pad also had an Animals theme

Pixie Cottage Showcase
Hi and Happy Weekend!
It's time for another showcase at The Pixie Cottage and the Design Team have come up with some super ideas for the new stamps.
Stamps are arriving almost daily at Michelle's Scrapbooking so be sure to go over and check to see if your favorite is there.
This time the team could decide to use whichever theme they liked for their project but as I'm in the Holiday Mood I kept with the Christmas theme.
There are a few challenges this fits as well:
The Crafty Pad had a recipe of 1 circle, 2 ribbons, 3 papers, 4 gems and some sparkle
Corrosive Challenges wanted to see some Embossing
Little Paper Shop wanted a Die Cut and I used Spellbinders to make my hang tag
Colour Create had the combo of Green, Red and White with the option of Christmas
Whimsy Stamps wanted "Anything But A Card" and the same challenge was at Crafty Angels
Challenge Up Your Life wanted a Festive Box/Package
Die Cut Dreams want to see Santa!
Stamp With Fun had a Christmas theme
Creatalicious wanted "Something for Christmas and some Sparkle!"
2 Red Bananas had a sketch that worked for the front of my tin.
Kaboodle Doodles wanted Buttons, Bows and Bling
Creative Inspirations wants some "Sparkle"
This time I chose The Jolly Old Elf by Alisa Ramirez and he was so much fun to work with!
I decided not to make a card but instead did an altered lunchbox that could be used for all sorts of things at this time of year. You could leave cookies in it for Santa on Christmas Eve, save cards, notes, receipts etc in it or fill it with treats to give as a gift.
I colored him with Copic's and then gave him the "Puffy Paint Treatment" all over his "fluffy bits".
I covered the handle with fabulous Christmas ribbons (wired ones work best) and tied one in a bow right in the middle of the handle.
Here you can see a close of Santa in all his fluffy fineness! LOL
I added an embossed image as a "hangtag" and I love how the white core of the cardstock shows through on the image. It is mounted on an Inverted Scallop circle Nestie and also has star buttons on it's "tail".
On the lid I added a floral pick from last year, it's got fake candy on it too to add a sweet touch! When creating projects remember there are many places you can find things that may work for you.
I hope you've enjoyed my little project and be sure to check out all the fabulous work of the designers at The Pixie Cottage today!
