Fa La La La Christmas Card with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today and I welcome you to my first Christmas in August post.
The new BoBunny adorable Christmas collections are here!
So today I made an interactive and very fancy card and there is a full video tutorial too, so you can recreate my card if you like it. I used this Christmas in the Village collection and I am really in love with this collections lovely graphics and non- traditional Christmas colors.
My card this time has no Mixed Media add- ons, it's easy to make, and fits each and every crafter.
This is how it looks when standing as a regular card:

But wait- you are going to be amazed!
Let's open the topper :

 And now it's full opened!

Usually this kind of a card is made without  all bottom layers; the pop- up part is the actual card where you write the greetings.
I made it in a bit more layered style: the pop- up part is just the card topper/front and then there are a few more cardstock layers and the actual light blue card where you add your greetings/sentiments/ thoughts or whatever you wish.
So here you can see all the layers on this standing card:

And if you want to try to make this  kind of card- HERE is a video tutorial for you to use.
Just a word about it: in the video the final part was mis- glued upside down and there were no way to change it in the video. But the final project was re- done and the pop- up part is glued in the correct direction.
As the video is mostly to teach the mechanism of this card the inside ornaments direction is not the issue and you can see the finished re- done project without any mistakes.

Product list:

Christmas in the Village 12'' cardstock Ornaments, Countdown
Chriastmas in the Village Combo Stickers
Christmas in the Village Layered Chipboards
Christmas in the Village Noteworthy die cuts
Double Dot Powder blue Damsk 12'' cardstock
American Crafts Light blue texture  solid cardstock 12''

I really hope that you like my card and my tutorial and see you in a week with more wonderful BoBunny Christmas projects

Traveler Tags with Marilyn

Hello Bo Bunny fans!
It's Marilyn here with you today to share a couple of tags and the video tutorial that I made using the new World Traveler collection.

I love to travel so I had fun creating with this collection. I tried to highlight the vintage look of this collection using brown, copper inks. But let me start from the beginning, I cut two pieces 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" from two different ivory papers from the collection. I gave textures with the Backsplash stencil and modeling paste.

In my first tag,  I adhered some clocks and gears that I cut out  from the Bo Bunny's craft dies with a brown paper from the collection. To give dimension and interest I adhered some die cut from the Noteworthy package with adhesive foam dots.

In the second tag, I used the same elements but created a different composition.

These are three of the products that I used to create the tags. The Noteworthy package with all the fantastic die cuts pieces so easy to work with them, the brads that I added to my first tag to bring the metallic look. And for my second tag I gave a sparkle look with some jewels.

You can see here from this angle the dimension and layers that I created on the tags with the different die cuts and elements.

You want to see how I made them, don't miss my video tutorial below!

Enchanted Garden Step by Step Video Tutorial

This week, we are focusing on our new collection Enchanted Garden! This collection is full of whimsical fun and fairies, and what better way is there to start off this focus week than with a video tutorial by Gabrielle Pollacco? In her video, she takes you step by step through the process on how she created her beautiful "A Cup of Spring" layout.

A Cup of Spring by Gabrielle Pollacco

I'm so crazy about this beautiful collection 'Enchanted Garden', the whimsical color combinations in this one really appeal to me. For this layout I did a bit of inking and spritzing and a fair bit of stamping. For this page I created a video tutorial to show the layout being made step by step. Enjoy!

Here are a few close-ups of the page elements....

I mixed and matched a few packs of the Bo Bunny blossoms to create my floral cluster and added a twine bow and some cheesecloth to finish the cluster.

I love whimsical look of the book paper with the butterfly specimens.  I also used some of the 6x6 paper pade to create a matting for my photo, ...a great way to paper save, I love not having to cut up a 12x12 paper for a bit of matting, don't you?

I used the new Bo Bunny Stitch stamps and washi tape for my corner interest on my page, and accented with some wood embellishments and trinkets.

Another peek at some of the wood embellishments I added, tucked in around the photo frame. I also used a bit of Bo Bunny's small size paper doily tucked in the edge.

I hope you enjoyed watching the process on making this page and hope you will give this gorgeous collection a try for yourself!
