Mid-Week Inspiration: Petit Point

Once only seen on a precious vintage purse or an old vanity hair brush set, petit point has made it's way back.  I love seeing it in it's new reincarnation! 

Dolce & Gabbana gave us some in their Fall 2012 collection! I adore their take on Grandma chic! 

Miss L Fire put in on their wedges! Adorable!

And my favorite designer of the moment, Ulyana Sergeenko has it on sunglasses for her Spring 2013 collection! I'm dying!

My Vintage Vanity: Winter White Embroidered Purse

I love this vintage purse! I was so lucky to receive it as a Christmas gift last year. The winter white color makes it perfect for this time of year. Protected with a plastic layer the cross stitch and twisted yarns are safe from rainy days and keep it clean. It's also large enough to fit all my daily needs.
