I'm considering blogging again. Considering. It. This decision may take time.
There are many social media platforms out there. Do I need to commit to any particular one? I do email, facebook, Google+, facebook, Twitter (still a newbie), and did I say facebook? I'm on facebook too much. I want to connect with friends and family online, but sometimes virtual interactions don't hold as much value as real-face-to-face or phone-to-ear conversations. I'm still unsure. I'd like to also use my blog as maybe a way of preserving family moments, but once they have gone out into cyber space do they lose value for our family and just become facts and figures for all to see? I'm wondering how I can delicately preserve my memories while sharing them so others can share in the good and bad times with me. I've been working on my photography skills as a way to help preserve memories. I'm kind of thinking that writing is another great way to preserve memories and if I can really capture the feeling and emotion of a memory it will be more than just a fact or figure.
Considering.
Considering.
Considering.

Sullivan Creek Camping Trip #1
(Pictures NOT in croniLOGICAL order. Blogger and me are disagreeing at the moment.)
We were definitely ready for a vacation!
The evening after Ben's last class for the summer we headed up towards Canada to my new favorite camping spot. Sullivan Creek. It's B.E.A.utiful!
It was so nice to have no distractions.
We cooked, slept, hiked, laid on the beach, and recharged ourselves for the busy year ahead.
We loved it so much that three or so days after we got home- We packed up and went back!
The kids love Kati. Lucy calls her by her first and last name. Its really cute.
While we were up there, Lucy asked Kati: "Why you have to go to college?!"
Adorable. I don't want Kati to leave either!
That's my little Mogley rock jumping in his undies!
Sullivan Lake
David hiked the whole way by himself!
It was about 3 miles downhill, then 3 miles back up. They played in the water at the midway point (hence the underwear picture). He managed to get his shoes and pants wet in the process so the whole way up he was wet. But he NEVER even said a word about it! He is seriously a true hiker.
If you can't tell (Camille, Kati, Me)
Ben carried Lucy the whole way. Except when Kati carried her for about .25 of a mile.
Camille and Brad served up a yummy lunch for us on the hike!
Lucy LOVES chips!
...heck, so do I!
"Ben Nye" The Science Guy was with us. He showed us lots of cool mushrooms (we didn't eat any of course). We did find a little mouse who looked like he had eaten a poisonous one though...he was pretty much dead. Brad tried to give him CPR, but it didn't work. Poor mouse.
Our little fam at the trailhead.
David LOVES Uncle Bradley!
I love these girls!
Eating breakfast together.
Isn't that the sweetest thing ever?!
Wow. Here is Lucy checking the list. (Hum, what was she seeing me do all day?)
All the men getting the canoe ready!
This vacation helped me realize that life is good. That's what I needed. I can't wait to go again next year!
