It is getting warmer and all of a sudden it is wonderful to be outside again. There is little I love more than exploring the city when the weather is nice. To not be in a rush, not be carrying a heavy coat around, but to just relax and go wherever I please. To lose track of time as I walk through unfamiliar streets and discover little gems along the way.

It's King's Day this Wednesday. Everyone dresses up in orange (although I might cheat and go red, white, blue again…) and sells or buys old stuff on the street. So far the weather forecast isn't great, but I'm pretty sure I'll go out for my yearly tradition of hunting cheap Disney movies (and picking up a few other treasures as well)… even if it's just for a little while.

I just treated myself to the bedsheets above. (On sale, yay!) They make my inner child smile, but are still very mature. And they're also fun and serene at the same time. Which is the theme I try to go for in my bedroom anyway. I mean, it has to inspire sleep, but it doesn't have to get dull. Anyway, just imagine them against my turquoise walls and grey bed..!

It is definitely getting colder now! I'm still prepping for Christmas, running errands and sending out letters etc. But it won't be long until I'll hide inside a fort made of blankets and books to keep me warm and entertained till Spring.

Today was a very long day, but a very nice one too. I had orders to finish and errands to run and even managed to enjoy the sunnier weather we've been having. I planned my proper computer-time in for tomorrow and am off to bed now.

Not much of a surprise I guess...

Yet again, I'm not feeling well. This time mostly due to stomach aches, nausea and not being able to sleep well. So what have I been doing to get through these days?

Well mostly reading! Lots and lots of Jane Eyre. Sometimes accompanied by Jack Johnson.

And I have found a very simple pleasure! Reading with nice lip balm and delicious hand cream on. I am not kidding, this is one of the best ideas I've had in ages. Makes life so much better!

Till the Morning

Lately I've been waking up early, not because of an alarm clock, but just because I do. And I have to say, I've grown to love mornings. Each morning I sit in the same spot, watch the sun slide through the sky until it's right before my window, and listen to amazing music.

It always creates a special vibe, and today felt like this. Hope you'll like it!
