Owl Things Considered

I was so happy to stumble upon two talented ladies that bring woodland into your home. Orwell and Goode have made an exquisite line of furniture and home decor featuring owls, badgers and foxes. It really is stunning!

They've incorporated the same three designs into pillows, pouffes and ottomans, but they're all very different color-wise which is quite clever, because that way one of them is bound to fit into your home's color scheme.

They'd probably blend into any environment, but if you're a little messy -like me- they have the advantage of elevating any randomly scattered items or piles of books to something you might find in a home decoration magazine.

The ottomans and pouffes are quite an investment, but if you still want the illustrations in your home and have a smaller budget, there are also wooden coat hooks available. A set of three, or separates...

And if you're getting by on a student budget -or just have some wall space to fill- you could always just get the affordable, yet adorable, set of prints and frame them yourself. (Or hang them with wash pegs… I always think that looks incredibly cool too!)

There are some other designs and items available as well, so check out the actual shop if you'd like to see more.

Owl Things Considered

The embroidery kits by kirikipress are really something special! I just love they turn illustration into amazing objects. And not just that... Michelle, the owner, made very cute and clear DIY kits with them, so you can make them yourself.

The box shows a difficulty level from 1 to 3, which makes it easy to pick a perfect gift for your DIY-diehards as well as your not so creative friends. Or if you yourself are starting out, you could even make your way through all three.

As you can see, there are amazing owls available. But there are also other animals to choose from. Like foxes.

If you loved these pictures I suggest you visit kirikipress to see the whole collection. I bet you'll be favoriting them all...

Wishlist

Though foxes are pretty popular at times, I don't often see jewelry with them. Thankfully Welded Heart on Etsy offers a bunch of different handmade fox items. And they are incredible!

There are wrap around rings and bracelets that are incredibly cute, yet still surprisingly mature. I love them!

You can also place a custom order and have your own cat made into a ring. The perfect gift for any cat lover, right?!

Go visit the Welded Heart shop if you want to see more wonderful jewelry. You're probably broke from Christmas shopping, but this is definitely a shop to remember!

Woodland Creatures: Shop Update

It is finally time to unveil a collection I've been wanting to make for ages. I did a lot of sewing this past month, followed by waiting for the sun to come out so I could take pictures, but here it is: my Woodland Collection!

I already had plenty of owls in my shop, so I now focussed on some other lovely creatures. All designs are available both as bookmarks and brooches.

There is still time left to order for the holidays, so if you need that perfect gift for your fox/raccoon/squirrel/hedgehog-loving friend, you can make them happy with a handmade bookmark or brooch. Or spoil yourself of course!

You can find all new items in my shop.

Spotted

Don't Autumn and foxes pretty much go hand in hand? And they're both so pretty too!

I love the vintage feel of this print.

If you can actually manage to take your eyes off this adorable little girl and look at the rest, you'll find not only an amazing sweater, but also a gorgeous fox hat!

People make the most amazing laser cut jewelry! I just love these foxes:)

Threadless has t-shirts of almost everything you can think of, and they have the perfect fox shirt too.

Poken was, I think, quite a shortlived hype, but they sure look cute, don't they?

Apart from knitting and crocheting, I'm really looking forward to doing some embroidery or cross stitching to during Fall. Isn't this one the perfect inspiration?

Lately I've been crazy about brooches, and I would not mind adding this one to my collection!

This entire shop is amazing! And this print fits perfectly in today's post.

Andrea always has the cutest little animals on the cutest stuff. Including lots and lots of foxes. Isn't this mirror beautiful?
