De Rosa SLX, 1986 from Norway

Im currently restoring a 1986 De Rosa SLX with all NOS campagnolo record drivetrain with delta brakes. I got the frame from ebay. All the record components i got cheap at a local dealer who had it laying in boxes for 20 years. It has Cinelli stem and bars with orginal leather bar tape. Roval wheels which i only gave a nice polish. The wheels was given to me for free. Regina 6 speed cassette which was already on the wheelset. It still needs a front derailleur and orginal cable housing and its ready to go.

Had the frame many years but it was never built from new. The paint was not great as dust on it had affected the finish, and chrome was pitted on the fork due to moisture. The frame was re-varnished, clearcoated with new decals, lugs repolished and fork re-chromed, then built with a full set of NOS super record group. All the parts were brand new from packets. The colour of the bike is therefor original. The panels are off white (cream) so not sure if they were originally a brighter white. I am though, very pleased with it.
