Punny Card and some others...

Hi all.  Today I am showcasing a new card from Imagine That Digi Stamps.  This month we are doing "Punny" cards.  I chose the adorable Otter be Mine.  You can find them here.  I have been feeling under the weather lately so I must admit that I didn't put a whole lot of effort into making my card.  Sorry about that.  Anyway, I used colored pencils to color the image and cut out a heart shape with fancy sizzors.  Then I glued it on the cardstock and added washi tape and some sequins.

Here are some more that I have made lately...

Watercolor background with Bird Crazy by Tim Holtz stamps

This is called a Zen Gem.  It is done with watercolor pencil and Zentangle.

 Done with Copic markers.

This one is done with watercolors.

Hope you enjoy seeing my work.  I would love for you to leave me a comment!

Imaging That Digis by Kris, June Freebie Challenge

Hi all.  Today, the Design Team is showcasing our new challenge with our Ice Cream Parlour digi set.  If you have played for the month of May, you will be eligible to download the free set.  If you haven't been playing, that's ok because you can go to the above site and purchase it at a discount and as a bonus, you will get the digi sentiments that coordinate, for free!  After you purchase the set, you will be sent the link to download the July digi for free.  This will go on continuously as long as you play each month.  Did I mention that the set is on sale right now?

For my card, I used the outlines of the ice cream parlour and painted it with water color Inktense Pencils and watercolor paints.  I wanted to make it colorful and bright.  After I painted the whole thing, I splattered a little blue onto the picture.  I cut the image out with a Spellbinds die.  I then die cut another piece of the same size and cut it in half so it would make the whole think pop, I also popped the image with foam for a little dimension.  I found the perfect designer papers in my stash and I really like the way it turned out.  This card would be great for a birthday card or just a card to cheer someone up.

I hope you enjoy my card and that you will try to participate in the challenge!

New Cards...

Hi all.  I have 2 new cards to show you today.  The first one is for the Imagine That design team.  I used the Love Lifts You set.  After printing the image, I colored it all with glitter gel pens.  I have not actually done this before but I really like the effect that it gives.  It looks more vibrant and sparkly in person.  The balloon and basket were cut out and I used embroidery floss to attach them and a Micron pen to put the black curly lines on the sides.  I printed the cloud background paper from the same set and pop dotted the image on a red card base.  This card can be used for either a sympathy or get well card.

My next card is one that I made for a special order.  I had to make quite a few of them.  It is a stamped image that I tangled, shaded and colored with watercolor pencils.  They were each die cut and framed in a scalloped die cut.  Since I had to make so many,  I decided not to shade them and just colored and painted them.

I hope you enjoy my cards.  Please leave me a comment and let me know!
