a note about Nancy over at

It's the 13th and I have a winner!!!!!

This was the first time out for me so I learned as I went. I want to thank everyone who commented on my blog and hope that it means you will hang out here a little as I grow in the blogging world.
Also a special thanks to all of you who mentioned my Mother.  Those comments mean a lot. To Calamity Jr, another thanks for coming back the second time to let me know I was in her thoughts during this whole season of rememberance. As you can imagine this date has more than one meaning to me. (Mother was buried on 9/11/05.

To Linda at bengalcatlover a big thank you for being my 100th follower! For that, you get something special. Of the gifts, let me know which was your favorite and you will get that in the mail.
