welcome to the faery garden!

 hello all! it is my turn to select the theme for the next two week challenge at tag tuesday and i've chosen the theme of "faery gardens."

i hope friends will share tags on the site featuring faeries and their garden playgrounds. make something lovely, spring-feeling, and full of fantasy to brighten our days.

here are two tags to get this started!

the background paper, faery, and sentiment in this first tag both come from gecko galz. the wings and border are items from my stash.

for this second tag the background paper and sentiment are again from gecko galz but the rubber stamp is from 100 proof press, and was a holiday gift i received this year!

garden fairy

for tag tuesday "gardening"

i'm terribly late -- the challenge ends this weekend, but i wanted the chance to play!

i actually planted some things today in my containers outside. so even if i'm late making a gardening tag, i actually did do some gardening! and i definitely saw some butterflies while out today!

garden party at tag tuesday

a little girl's garden dreams are of flower fairies that dance with the birds and butterflies.  that is the theme of this tag, a lovely garden party in the imagination of a child.  our theme at tag tuesday this week is "garden party" and i enjoyed making this tag.  vintage images by gecko galz, the rest of the items are from my stash.

more inspiration from a picture

remember that cake picture i shared last week?  this is the foundation for the latest challenge at the cheerful stamp pad.  use the photo below as inspiration for your creation and then you'll have the chance to be the randomly selected winner for a prize from classy cards n such.

and this week i took it as inspiration for a garden fairy tea party.  because my imagination tells me that they would surely serve pink cake!

i do not recall the origins of the vintage fairy and tea cup (at bottom) but the fairy at top is from itkupilli.

flowers and butterflies oh my!

ok, one last bit of inspiration for the lunagirl moonbeams seed packs/vintage garden challenge.  just a handful of days left to link up but the randomly selected winner will get some spending money for the lunagirl store, a wonderful place to shop for vintage lovelies.

the flowers are from the "french flowers seed pack #1" sheet and they are joined by a garden fairy from the lunagirl "fly away home" sheet.  and obviously i went hog wild with the butterflies as my main embellishment here.
