The Color Room - the last palette..

Today is a bit of a sad day.. It's the last palette over at The Color Room.. The challenge blog started out in 2009 and today we have palette # 175! It would be so fun if as many as possible would join us for the final round:-)



And here is my take, so fun making a C & S page in just a few minutes:-) For my househould item I made stars from the wrapping paper.

Hello Stella - TCR palette # 173

A new palette is live in the color room blog:-) I had a lot of fun making this page for our puppy Stella. This time you're suppose to use a credit card in some way. I didn't have a real credit card, but I had a card that used to hold a sim card.



This card was just a perfect element in the background, and it says "You are one of us!"

First haircut - The color room palette # 171

It's time to share the latest palette from the Color room. This time I found the colors hard, but I love a challenge:-)  The Household item suggested is a fruit or vegetable Netting bag.  They are usually plastic and create a really cool texture in wet media.  The girls have thought up some really cool ways to use their Netting bags this month.  Just check it out!



I used my fruit bag as a part of my mixed media background. It's all covered with acrylic paint. The picture on my layout is from my little girls first haircut. Not the best quality pic, but a deer memory:-)

"Working girl"

Det er så gøy med nye utfordringsbloggar så eg prøver å få gjort flest mulig av utfordringane i starten, så blir det forhåpentligvis mange fleire etterkvart:-)

Scrappelyst sin mai-utfordring er "Vår". Vår er jo favoritt årstida mi og eg elsker å scrappe sider fra våren. 

Denne sida kosa eg meg skikkelig med. Masse gøy i bakgrunnen dekka med maling og mist, det kjekkaste eg veit å bruka. Og bildene av "jobbe jenta" vår er jo heilt herlige:-)

It is so much fun with new challengblogs so I try to get done as many of the challenges as possible in the beginning, so hopefully I'll continue to do the challenges  :-) 

Scrappelyst has "Spring" as their May challenge. Spring is my favorite seasons and I love to scrap pages of spring. 

This layout I really enjoyed making. Lots of fun in the background covered with paint and mist, the things I love using. And the pictures of our "working girl" is completely lovely :-)

I made this page for the june palette over at The color room. This time you have to use fabric on your projects. I used cheese cloth on mine:-)

New release at the color room

After a break we at back to share a new palette with you. And we also have some big changes:-)

The color room are merging with Scrap for Help, and we will incorporate a household item to use with the Palette, making the challenge even more fun, creative and 'green', using some of the throw away items in our crafting.  In the future we will incorporate Cynthia's vision of helping the community, to raise money here and there for worthy charities across the Globe, which we plan to do periodically.  So watch out for that too!!!

As Junkmail I've used some stamps and also a luggage tag from the vacation I've scrapped:-)

 I also used some Purple Pumpkin goodies on this page. I've used a pink ticket and a fabric button.

Big girl!

This layout is made for the latest palette at The Color Room. It's just a gorgeous color palette and it was a perfect match to this cute photo of my little girl who is becoming a Big girl!

I dag er det ny palett hos The Color Room og eg har laga mi første side som designer for dei:-)

Bæra (carry)

Eg elsker fargepalettene hos The Color Room og har bestemt meg for å prøva og delta oftare:-)

Denne var litt vrien då syns eg;-) Føler kanskje eg bomma litt med fargane?
Men uansett her er den nå. Bildet er av eldstejenta då ho var 4 mnd og satt ein del i bæresjalet. Hadde ein rimelig vond arm etter mykje bæring dei første månedene, så då kom bæresjalet godt med:-)


I love the color palettes at The Color Room and have decided to try and participate more often :-)

This palette was a bit tricky as I think;-) Feel maybe I missed on some of the colors and got two shades of green instead of one.
But anyway here it is now. Pic is of oldest girl when she was 4 months and put her in carrying shawl. Had a reasonably sore arm after much carrying the first few months, so then came the carrying shawl handy :-)
