A DOUBLE DATE

Jackson on the way to the theater: "This is special mommy. This will be fun!"

Jackson and I met up with Giselle and her son Andrew to go see Madagascar 2! It was nice to get out with just one and it was wonderful seeing Giselle and Andrew. The boys did VERY well sitting in their seat all through the previews and the first 15minutes or so of the film. But once the novelty of their popcorn wore off, they were very mobile. Due to the crowded theater, we were at the very top in the back so they had room to roam - this was good and bad. I would have preferred to not have to bend over to reach for Jackson, but that's life. I think overall they really did enjoy themselves and it was a nice visit for us too!

Oh and let me just stress just what an awesome friend Giselle is...
1- she provided the tickets
2- she made the drive to me from Simi.... TWICE
3- despite the awful attempt at coming out Wednesday during all the traffic, she still offered to come my way Friday
4- she brought me warm maternity clothes!
5- She's a blast!

And one last thing - how random is it that I haven't been to the movies since who knows when and here I am, at a movie in my hometown, 40 min. away from the high school where I teach AND I RAN INTO A STUDENT OF MINE! I know, crazy huh!!!

Arrietta Day of Thanks - 11am

We are so grateful to all those that came down to make our Thanksgiving one of the best ones yet!

We were really looking forward to this Thanksgiving because well for one, almost anything could top last year, but two, my dad's side of the family was coming to us! We usually spend about five hours or so driving on Thanksgiving and we usually only have about two hours with each family. NOT THIS YEAR!!

Sunday will be my grandparent's 56th Wedding Anniversary!! It was great timing to be able to have most of us together so we could celebrate with them. We were able to watch a slide show and we were able to watch the two of them play a version of the Newlywed Game!

Odom/Anderson Day Of Thanks - 5pm

Now that Tori and Chris are in their new home, Thanksgiving was moved to their place this year. So around 5pm we headed a few miles away from my parents house to go enjoy our second Thanksgiving meal and oddly enough, it was a bit different from our first so it wasn't like having left-overs! And yes, Jackson brought his purse - will this ever end?

The boys did fairly well here considering they woke up around 6am and didn't get a nap all day, but the drive home Jackson let us know just how upset he was regarding his lack of sleep! But overall, a very good Thanksgiving!

**I totally forgot to write down my favorite part of the evening... Tori and Chris has these centerpieces out with tall candles. Near the end of the night, Jackson came into the room where the long table was set up and said, "I missed it, I missed my birthday!" He was so upset that the candle was burned out and he had missed blowing it out for his supposed birthday. So being a grandma, Annette got out the lighter and sang to him five or six times each time ending with him blowing out his "birthday candle". Where do they come up with these ideas in their little heads??

SHOES!

He has gotten into most of Jackson's clothes sooner than Jackson did, but it has taken him SO long to get into his shoes! They are still a tad big at size three, but they work! He could not figure out what in the world those things were on his feet!! And of course, Jackson had to get in the picture.

32 Weeks

Now do you see why I can't even imagine lasting until JANUARY 20th!!!

First Hair Cut & Misc.

Ryan is becoming much more active and needy - it's fun and exhausting all at the same time!

Jackson is always so excited when his brother is up and willing to play - that is unless Jackson is NOT in the mood to share his animals!

Nesting... yeah I'd say so - I had to arrange the living room last week, just had to. Luckily my Monavie made it so I wasn't in much pain after.

He no longer sleeps where we set him - so yes, the crib has been moved down and we love to walk in and see how he ends up.

He's like a real kid now - crazy! If only I could get him out of his diapers, I could ship him off to Preschool :)

I can't stand it when the new hair and the baby hair make for one uneven hairdo - so I buzzed it today. I used an eight so it's not drastic, I am actually thinking of doing it again with a shorter clipper... we will see.

Crap I didn't realize I didn't rotate these - this is the main reason my posts are so sparse these days, I hate posting on my MAC, it's just not what I am used to and to me, not nearly as easy.

Jackson now carries one of my purses with him and Ryan is now starting to go through mine - oh boy boys!

Why not enjoy lunch outside now that it's cooled off - good idea Jackson!
