YNSFF17 - You paint my heart happy

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  Time for another Your Next Stamp Fun Friday challenge!  This cute image is a digital stamp called Love Painting.  Don't forget!!! You only have a little more time to get our SUPER CUTE digital stamps because once they're gone, they're GONE!  I colored him with my Copics, of course, and used the pointillism technique on the fur.  I had the idea to color the heart in rainbow colors and am tickled with how it turned out!  And then this sentiment just helped it all came together.  And yea, I'm totally loving this month's sketch!  I wanted the image to really grab be the focal point, so I kept a lot of white space with pops of black.

Your Next Stamp - New Digital Release Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to our September Your Next Stamp Digi Blog Hop!

The Digi Team has worked hard to complete some awesome projects for this hop! We have EIGHT new digi stamps in the store and an announcement to make today...

After much consideration, we have decided that Your Next Stamp will go back to it's rubber roots and we will be discontinuing the Digital Stamp line from the store in October 2014. We all know how much you have come to love the cute characters from the Omnia line and we are happy to still offer the whimsical images in clear stamp form. You will still be able to purchase all Digital Stamps until October 2014 and with the sale offered below, you will want to stock up now!

For my project, I used the new Digi called Yummy Bunny!  Oh, isn't he SO stinkin' aDORable?!!!  I colored him with Copics then cut him out with my oval STAX.  He's so happy and festive, I just had to add a banner to the front!  The sketch is from the SSSC234.

I had a few pieces leftover from cutting out banners, so I thought I'd add one to the inside of the card, too!

YNS Fun Friday - Hello Sunshine!

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  I'm super thankful for THIS particular Friday because that means we have gotten through our first week of school here in OK!  Phew!  One down, how many to go, lol??  Anywho, here's my card for our current YNS Challenge.  I used that yummy inspiration picture for my card.  Here's Tobi Watering Rose digital stamp, which I colored with Copics.  The sketch is the SSSC232.  I broke out some old, unloved SU card stock for this card.  I have it, why not use it, right?!  That's my goal these days!  Plus, these colors went so well with the challenge!  Many different shades of purple here!

YNS Fun Friday - Sailor Birthday

Hi all!  Happy Friday!  It's time for a new Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge!  I decided to go with the sketch challenge and used this cute Little Sailor Boy digital stamp.  I colored him with Copics, then fussy cut him and popped him up on rolled up glue dots.  I used a couple of my star die-namics to cut out parts of the dp, then filled them with navy blue stars.  A few brads, thread and an anchor add the finishing touches.

For my project, I used one of my favorite YNS Digital Stamps, Sweet Spring.  I colored it with Copics then added some clouds with a stencil and Sno Cone ink.  I added the die-namic, Celebrate, because that's what this hop is ALL about!!!  ;)  The little tab and die-namic button help pick up some of the colors in the flowers.  The sketch is from the June Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen theme!  You really should check out the Dirty Dozen gallery - SO worth the membership price!!!

 We're currently doing some spring cleaning around here and everything in the store is ON SALE – even the new items are 20% off so now is the time to shop!

Your Next Stamp Fun Friday Challenge - You're a winner!

Hi all!  It's Friday - wahoo!!!! - time for another YNS Fun Friday Challenge!  We have a great new sketch and inspiration pic for you!  I love this sketch!  I used this sweet Fishing Bear Digi stamp, who is just perfect for a Father's Day card!  I colored him with Copics, using the dotted technique on his fur.  The 'sky' was done with my B21 Copic.  I made some swipes with it here and there then went over them with my colorless blender to soften the edges.  Pretty simple ;)  I also popped up the image on foam adhesive for added interest since the rest of the card is pretty CAS (Clean And Simple).  For the fishtail flag STAX layer, I took a piece of Sno Cone card stock (the same as the pale blue layer behind the main image) and spritzed it with some Imagine Crafts Fireworks shimmer spray in Pear Tart and Bahama Blue.  I left the big splotches as is and love how they turned out!  I think it goes well with the image between the shimmer of water and the shiny scales of a fish.  The sentiment is from an MFT set.  A good reminder to let Dad know he's the Best!  A few enamel dots finish it up - couldn't get too crazy since it's a masculine card!  :D  I also made this for the Catered Crop Recipe Swap challenge!

YNS Fun Friday Challenge Time!

Hi all!  Here's my card for the May Your Next Stamp Blog Challenge.  How sweet is the digi called Hat Decorating?!  Love all the little animals ;) Of course, I colored it with my Copics then cut it out using my oval STAX.  I added a small fold in the ribbon for extra detail, as opposed to making a bow.  A few sparkly pink gumdrops add a little something extra.  Did you hear what I said?  Sparkly.  Pink. Gumdrops.  Love. Love. Love!  AND THEY'RE ON SALE!  Yep, we're having a huge sale at the YNS Store and some things will be retiring when the sale is over, so get what you want while you CAN!

This happy little digi is called Surprise and I totally love it!  I have three boys, so this image really calls out to me.  I colored it with copics, adding a dotted background again because they are SO fun (you really should try it!)!!  

Here's a look at the full card.  I used Karen Giron's SSSC213 sketch.  The banner was a must, which I created with die-namics and white twine.  The larger panel and digi are both up on foam adhesives.  I used several die-namics (circle STAX, mini pennants, and Blueprints 13 to name a few) and finished it up with two big silver brads.

For my card, I've used Tobi with Pinwheel.  What's not to love about a sweet little girl and a bright yellow pinwheel?!  ;)  I colored her with copics then went totally Clean And Simple using Karen G's SSSC204 sketch for this week.  I popped up the image and yellow dp layers for extra dimension.  This sentiment from an MFT set was perfect for this cheery card.  The card base is MFT's natural.
