Inkspirations Colour Challenge 17

Wow! I can't even imagine what it would be like to move from one side of a country to the other, but that is what Makeesha has done. She has moved from Perth to Cairns, and I am sure it won't take long for them to settle in. (It might take a bit longer to get used to the humidity LOL!).

Here is another 'Inkspiration Colour Challenge' with very yummy colours ....

Stamps: Everyday button bits (PTI), Polka dot basics (PTI)

Card: Kraft, very vanilla, so saffron & chocolate chip DSP, chocolate chip

Ink: Chocolate chip, versamark, so saffron

I was on a bit of a roll last night, even though we are in the middle of a heat wave here in Melbourne, and last night we experienced our first power blackout between 1830-2030. But I didn't have huge plans for today (just relaxing - because it is still HOT!), I was able to stay up a bit later (1 am).

Makeesha's Cased Sketch Challenge

Ok this was really weird because I don't actually case many cards from the catalogue (in fact none!) except this one. So for Makeesha's Cased Sketch challenge I will show both cards that I have done ....

I am not really happy with these colors, but I did like the way the card turned out. I used my SU! color coach and chose barely banana, perfect plum and gable green. The stamps I used were bold butterfly, short & sweet and flitting by wheel.

... and this is the card that I cased a while ago. You can see all the details of this card here.
