Good To the Last Drop

Good To The Last Drop
A cup of coffee topped off our lunch as we just sat a while and
enjoyed our time together. The savory rich taste of the warm
delicious brew made me to know that I will be back for more.

Pot of Gold

Pot of Gold
Big bold brush strokes danced off my brush. A little dark a little light and then the
decision to paint a dark blue vase but what really brought this painting to life was the green
leaves. Can you tell that I am passionate about paintings. As I look back over the few thousand
I have painted I am amazed at the changes as my style continues to develop.
I have went from just copying the work or style of other artist to just doing it.
I am really having a lot of fun....can you tell.....

If I Had A Barn

If I Had A Barn
If I had a Barn it would be one like this. It would be well used with a history of good things.
It would be a barn where animals were happy. It would be in a grassy field with sprigs
of flowers popping up out of nowhere. If I had a barn it would look like this one.

Label Still On

Label Still On
One outstanding thing about this pear is that little blue label.
As I painted this pear I really tried to simplify yet maintain the beauty
of the label.

From Our House To Yours

From Our House To Yours
This is our gift to you. I do cry a little as I post this. My oldest daughter Julie
is a Captain in the United States Marine Corp. Today this Christmas day she serves.
She is far far away who knows where. She is at a location I can not
name because I do not know. Her profession is protecting you and your family
on this Christmas Day. No I won't talk to her today but I will think
of her and pray for her safety as she works to ensure ours. She gave me one of her dog tags not long
ago and it hangs constantly from my easel. I tied it there from a ribbon. The leaves on
this mistletoe branch represent our family, Lacy, Kristopher, Benny, Angela and
Captain Julie M Laube. We give you this gift From Our House To Yours.
Merry Christmas to all.......
