Magic Winter Time DT Layout for *Maja Design* + Playing at Mixed Media & Art, Cuts2luv and Words & Paintry Challenges!

Goodmorning lovelies,
How was your first week of the new year?
For me it's still kind of a roller coaster helping my mom getting her house cleaned up after her husband died {my stepdad}, husband still at home on sick leave and getting our son more into his school work. It's a hard job being a mom a good wife and daugther. But I am not complaining, yesterday I had some free time in my craft room and made this layout for my DT work at Maja Design and thought "well" maybe I could make something to enter a challenge again it's been a while since I have done that.

Magic Winter Time:
This layout was made with the pretty new Maja Design collection "Joyous Winterdays" I added a lot of mixed media elements like paste, stamps, a stencil clear drops, prills, snow, glass glitter, sprays and some crackle paste. This was a really fun page to create eventhough I don't like winter I do love making winter layouts. The chipboards are treated with gesso {white} crackle paste and snow effects and a touch of gliss glitter.

At the end I added some sequins by "dress my craft" and I added some shimmer sprays by Lindy's Stamp Gang called "Don't Eat Golden Snow"to my flower clusters I also used two flair on my layout.

Maja Design papers used: Evergreen bs, Outdoors bs, Pick a tree bs, Santa Claus, Ephemera & Ephemera bs.
Other products used:
Dusty Attic chipboard, Stencils, Paste, Lindy’s Stamps Gang sprays and embossing powders, Stamps, Mica Powders, Cheese Cloth, Clear gesso, Gesso white, Ink & Waxes

With this layout I will be participating in three different challenges first up:

Is the amazing December challenge at the Mixed Media & Art blog I was really inspired by the pretty colors and amazing sketch although it turned out a little different as I was planning let's have a look:
For the second challenge I will be entering, we have to go over to Cuts2luv blog where they also have a lovely mood board and I was inspired by the colors I only left out the pink and orange colors but I added the word winter, used a snow picture, texture paste and as I just see now it looks a lot like the sketch hihihi just have a look:
And the third challenge which I will be attending is the one over at the Words & Paintery they also have a pretty mood board with the same soft toned colors that I used in my layout.
Thank you so much for your visit today and I hope I have inspired you to make some beautiful art with your crafty supplies. Have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend.....

Happy Moments Layout for ***49 and Market*** & ***The Dusty Attic***!

Hello lovely friends,
Oh how I am in love with the new "Rusty Autumn"collection by 49 and Market when I got them last week I had to start right away because my hands where itching to create. This collection has such rich colors that I know you will love it too...for this layout I went for the green, grey and blue tones in it which are just gorgous. First I altered the background with paste that I colored with Lindy's spray and added a stencil by The Dusty Attic then I used just white paste for the script stencil.

Happy Moments:
The chipboard I treated with just white gesso, embossing powder, rust paste and wax, at the end I added some mini prills to give my layout more dimension. This was such a happy layout to create { I had a big grin on my face the whole time} and with all de products 49 and Market offers it takes you less time to create something spectacular. The pictures had a big part in it to for sure.

Little Princess Layout for *Cuts2luv*, *Maja Design* & *The Dusty Attic*!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Today I am back again showing you some mood board inspiration for my guest designer spot at the Cuts2luv blog. This time my layout is made with Maja Design papers, Petaloo flowers and Dusty Attic chipboard. And again I used three new flairs on my work aren't they the cutest ever? I really love this mood board it got me thinking outside the box...since it was really easy to make another beach layout with it. I adore making layouts with sleeping babies too so that is why I made this layout.

Little Princess:
I used almost every element from the moodboard. I used the sketch, the word bliss, a baby/kid picture, doilies, clean & simple style and I started out by using the colors from the board but I later on added the colors pink and old pink to my work.

I started my layout by inking the edges of my background sheet with some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays then I stamped a script and dot clear stamp randomly on my sheet after that I splattered three different sprays on it. I added a stencil on the background too...I cut out four doilies by Cheery Lynn in two sizes and added them in the lower right part of my layout and behind my picture.

Then I treated my chipboard with different mediums and placed them on my layout where I thought it looked nice then I build my page with the flowers and flairs. I finished my layout by adding some sequins, prills, mica flakes, pearlescents and some word strips.

Cuts2luv products used:

Maja Design papers used:
Vintage Summer Basics: 1933bs, 1934bs & 1909bs and I Wish:  I wish for frosty mornings bs.

The Dusty Attic chipboard used:
 DA1453-Elegant Chain & DA1435-Ornament Trim#2
Thank you so much for your visit today I sure hope I have inspired you to play with your amazing products you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here.

Beyond the Stars Layout for ***49 and Market*** & ***The Dusty Attic*** + Playing at Scrap & Craft!!!

Good afternoon lovely friends,
How nice of you to stop by my blog! Today I'd like to show you a layout I created with the lovely Sand & Sea collection but not in a beach theme, to show you how versatile this collection is. Last Saturday I gave my first workshop using all pretty 49 and Market & Dusty Attic products for four lovely ladies and I have to say, I really enjoyed it so more workshops to come from me. I am in love with all the new flowers wow they are the best on the market for me, for this layout I used some of the new collection in the colors poppy, sandcastle and Aloe.

Beyond the Stars:
I had printed out this picture for a long time now and I finally had the layout to use it for. This picture turns a smile on my face and it reminds me of my own childhood. Peaking through a window in these type of cloths ....so eighties and so precious. I used the top page of the Sand & Sea collection as the base of my layout and I cut out the middle on which I stamped with Pascale her new stamp.

For this layout I used some new Dusty Attic black word tabs/tags and I have to say I am smitten by them they add some much to you work as all the pretty flowers do. The other chipboard pieces are treated with gesso, ruste paste and waxes by Finnabair oh I love that stuff so much. I am very happy how this layout turned out because I did not want it to be a beach layout this time.

49 and Market products used: Blossoms Blends Poppy, Floral Mixology Mojito, Blossoms Blends Sandcastle, Sand & Sea Collection, Garden Seeds Sandcastle, Cottage Blooms Poppy, Vintage Shades Sage Blossoms Seaside Blooms Aloe, Jute Cording Single Ply and Pascale's Writings Stamp.

Other products used: Dusty Attic chipboard, Stencils, Paste, Lindy’s Stamps Gang sprays and embossing powders, Stamps, Mica Powders, Cheese Cloth, Clear gesso, Gesso white, Ink.

I will also be entering this months challenge at Scrap & Craft where we have to use Autumn Colors...love that challenge as I really enjoy making someting with these colors....
Thank you so much for your visit today I hope you enjoyed my post and are inspired by it to use your 49 and Market & The Dusty Attic goodies… have a lovely day and weekend.
