Playing at ***Once Upon A Sketch***

Well hello everyone,

My second post for today did you see my first??? Please do check if you a curious for the new BoBunny collections:-))

Yesterday I posted my DT work for Imaginarium Designs that layout is based on the sketch at "Once Upon A Sketch"which is uber pretty again!!

Let's have a look:

Pretty isn't it??? These sketches are so very inspirational and everyone see it differently which I really love to see. My take on this sketch.

The Girls:

The girls in the picture are my nieces & they love to pose for me don't they look like little models???

The flowers are handmade by me for this layout I used the pretty "Postcards from Paris II" by Webster's Pages.

The lace is from Tresors de Luxe, and all the chipboard is from Imaginarium Designs. At the moment I have a crush on the Lindy's Stamps Gang spray's so those were used here too. 

Let's have a closer look: 

All the chipboard pieces are painted and embossed but I also used the new BoBunny pearlescents on the it especially on the peacock feathers.

On the back of my layout I wrote a little something for my niece on the right side of the picture because this picture was taken on her birthday last weekend.

September Challenge at ***Once Upon A Sketch*** {using one of my DT layout's for Imaginarium Designs}

In my part of the world it's 10:30 PM when writing this post!

I just had to get it done before I went to bed :-)))

Last month I was to late entering the gorgeous sketch but that's not going to happen this time.

"Once Upon A Sketch"

 Journalling Theme: Open theme...with a twist

For this month's challenge, you can scrap about any theme BUT you need to include your own handwritten journalling on your page!

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. Whilst the theme is open, you MUST base it on the sketch below and include your HANDWRITTEN journalling ON YOUR PAGE. Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long.

This is the wonderful sketch:

And this is what I came up with:

I normally do very romantic shabby style layout's but not this time although I had a hard time not adding flowers of some kind!

For this layout I used the NEW "Wild Card"collection by BoBunny with a picture of my dad in 1973 five years before I was born. My dad loves to play chess so that's why I used them on this layout.

I think my dad looks very handsome on this picture almost like a model, when I was growing up he never wanted my bothers or me to take pictures of him so this picture I will treasure as long as I live.

A little closer: 

The theme was to use your own handwriting on you layout and so I did! I wrote something for my dad in Dutch around the outer side of my layout!

About him being the best dad ever xox

Happy Birthday Scrap Around the World ****May Mood Board**** + May challenge at Once Upon A Sketch + Lindy's Stamp Gang May Mood Board!!!

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing well did you see the "Epic Event" challenge at Scrap Around the World No? please do enter there are amazing prizes to be won.

This time the mood board was designed by my amazingly talented friend Helen Tilbury.

As I'm a DT member I made two layouts for this event one with the reveal and my second layout to play along with the event because I was in the "Wall off Fame"once I ended 8th place. 

I really enjoyed working with this gorgeous mood board it gave me a hugh grin on my face take a look.

I based my layout on the May Challenge at Once Upon A Sketch designed by the wonderful Nadia Cannizzo who is so uber talented!

This is my take:

Blogger is acting up again it slightly changed color just now well okay need to live with it!  

This is a picture of my sweet little niece "Roosje" she just turned 3 last April and she is the baby in our family she is becoming such a little lady! 

She adores her big cousin Kevin they are best buds.  

I used a ton of Lindy's Stamp Gang spray's and Embossing powders and off course some gorgeous Imaginarium Designs chipboard elements.

My pink color became more red well at least I thought I had pink lol....Those bikes are the cutest ever don't you think??
