Christmas Cards for *2Crafty Chipboard* and & Playing at Challenge #122 Bingo at SrapAndMe!!!

 Hi lovely creative peeps,
Hope you are having a wonderful & creative day, for today I have two Christmas cards to share with you and I used some amazing chipboard pieces by 2Crafty, ScrapAndMe papers & Maja Design papers, handmade flowers, pre made flowers and some amazing collage ephemera {Christmas Fairies} by Marta Lapkowska. Enjoy this post.....

Card 1: December 2024

Bingo: middle horizontal row: paint splatter - flowers - doily

I just love making cards that are non traditional in colors so that is what I did here. For this card I altered the "Berry Vine Set" with spray paint without adding gesso first and then I added some lighter green acrylic paint with a sponge, the "Merry Christmas" banner is from ScrapAndMe not sure which collection.

On the "Card Xmas Baubles" I added some black embossing powder on the hanging part but you can't see that anymore because I added flowers on top of that. But on the baubles I added some Christmas balls from the collage ephemera book {Christmas Fairies}

That cute little fairy is also from that book, the word december & 2024 are treated with embossing powders both two layers and one n a two tone style.

Card 2: Christmas Memories

Bingo: middle vertical row: stitching - flowers - ribbon

The "Circle Dot Frame" is treated with two layers of embossing powder in a green color.
For this card I did use the traditional colors which is also fun to do....for my second card I used the pretty "Magic Christmas" collection by ScrapAndMe the flowers are handmade.

For the dangling part from the "Merry Christmas Sign" I treated that one with a ink pad after I first added two layers of white gesso. I also did that with the word Christmas. The word memories is cut apart from the phrase "cherished family memories" and is treated with green metallique wax.

I will be entering this months challenge at the ScrapAndMe blog which is a "BINGO" and I love bingo's so much that I will be entering with both cards.

First card: middle horizontal row: paint splatter - flowers - doily
Second card: middle vertical row: stitching {faux} - flowers - ribbon

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies & Lindy's products and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny rest of the week!

Christmas Cards for ***2Crafty Chipboard*** + Playing along with challenge 144 ~Christmas~ at Hobby Vision!!!

  Hi lovely creative friends,
Hope you are having a wonderful & creative day, for today I have two Christmas cards to share with you and I used some of the amazing chipboard pieces 2Crafty Chipboard offers.
 Enjoy my post.....

Snow Magic & Merry Christmas:

Amazing 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Corner Crackle
Merry Christmas Fine Card Pack
Crystal Snowflakes
Holly Twig- Branches
Word Circle Set 1
Dangling Merry Christmas Sign
Wintery Snowflake Set
Thin Square Stacked Frames
Snowball Tree
The Magic of Snow

I altered the chipboard pieces in different ways for my first card I mostly used embossing powder {gold & white} but for the "snowball tree" & the magic of snow phrase I cut those in pieces and I used two colors of matte acrylic paints after that I added some true snow randomly on those pieces.

The pieces of Crackle Corner, add texture and interest to the background and I've cut up
pieces of the Snowball Tree and tucked these amongst the paper flowers. Lovely gold embossed finish on the rectangle frame, adds a beautiful backdrop for
 the rest of the elements.

For my second card I left some of the chippies in their raw state. I sometimes feel that is a better fit on my projects. On some of the pieces I used some white gesso and on the holly twig branches I added some acrylic paint & some true snow. I've cut out the sentiment in the Word Circle and added the Merry Christmas sentiment to the middle.

Again on this cards, I've added cut up pieces of the Crackle Corner to the background for
some interest, and added some small snowflakes and Holly Twig Branches.

With this card I will be entering the challenge at the Hobby Vision Blog ~144~ Christmas normally I am not such a fan of Christmas but for the challenge at Tiets Facebook page I made some cards and 8x8 layouts.

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to take out your lovely 2Crafty Chippies and create and have fun while doing so. Have a blessed & sunny weekend!
