To Have and to Hold
Hi, hope you're enjoying the gorgeous weather,
This is one of the cards I made for the Stamp Magic show
i'm going to enter the following challenges:
Tuesday Taggers~ Wedding Day
Stamp Something ~ Vintage with Flowers
The scallop step card is a new creation from Whichcraft uk. These were only launched on Sunday along with a couple of others so I don't think they are on the web site yet but i'm sure Paula will be able to let you know when they are...why not sign up for their news letter.
The size when closed fits into an A5 envelope.
I distressed the scallop edge with TH vintage photo ink.
The lovely image is Tilda and Edwin bridal couple, which I coloured with copics.
I'm not doing very well for telling you the pens I used.
My notes have disappeared under piles of papers that i've been using for the last couple of weeks.
It's been a busy month but i've enjoyed it soooo much!!
Dp is 'Something Old' from the Magnolia wedding collection and gold star dream cardstock from my stash.
Sentiments were written on the computer and inked with Vintage photo ink while the nestie was still on, it gives a nice border.
Martha Stewart heart punch and EK Success retro flower punches to make the flower.
The leaves from a woodware punch.
I would have put some pearls on but couldn't get any ivory ones in time.
Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Do please leave a comment so I can visit you.

Very Vintage
Hi my second post today is a very vintage christmas card.
I was invited to be a Guest Designer this week for the
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long challenge.
I won the challenge a few weeks ago with my file purse and card set, and this was my prize.
The GDT badge has been burning a hole in my email box just waiting to be displayed, so whoopee I can wear it with pride today.
When the lovely Maria said the challenge was very vintage I thought... I don't do vintage, but I must say I really enjoyed trying it. Still need loads of practice!!!
So here is my card
It's a DL cream card base which I distressed with TH vintage photo ink.
Just some plain black cardstock distressed with the TH tool.
DP is by Magenta from Whichcraftuk the link is on my side bar.
The santa stamp is by Rubber Stampede, I used Versmark ink and copper detail embossing powder.
It was difficult to photo because the detail on the stamp was lost when it was shinny. The edges have been coloured with a gold Pen-Touch marker.
The distressing was already on the DP.
Ribbon from stash and embossed sentiment.
Photos don't do justice but you get the idea.
So if you want to get a head for Christmas why not give it a try.
It's well worth checking out for some wonderful inspiration from the design team,
and Maria has some fabulous tutorials too.
Thanks for taking the time to call by, have a great weekend

coloured with copics E31 33 35 37 bear E59 25 99 33 53 wood B32 B34 Tshirt G94 Basket
B00 Sky B00 B32 B34 water, sorry I got a bit carried away and forgot to write down the ducks and reeds.
His trousers and hat are paper pieced...a tip if you don't want to waste your DP.
Print your image onto copy paper, cut a small square of DP, I put it through my xyron with repositionable tape and stick it over the image, then print again.
Make sure you notice which way round it needs to go back into the printer.
( Don't use a post it note as it might come off and get stuck in your printer)
Dp is from the hopscotch pad by K&Co.
I didn't have blue ric rac ribbon so I coloured it with copic B32.
Thought the MS trellis punch looked a bit netty and hung a couple of fishy charms from my stash on to it.
The sentiment was printed by computer and cut with word punch from Stampin' Up
I hope you'll join in the fun, for more inspiration check out my lovely teamies.

Hi me hearties!!
Good morning friends,
It's another gorgeous day here, hope it's the same for you,
Time for another challenge from Teddy Stampers.
For this challenge we want you to use your teddy stamps or digi images for a
MOVIE INSPIRATION
My inspiration is Pirates of the Caribbean and here is my DT creation.
Popcorn Bear is dressing up for a movie party.
He's sent his invitations and tickets.
There's popcorn, a treat bag and a place setting for his name.
I used a template for the popcorn box but so sorry I can't find it to link.
I always like to give credit to the creator of the templates I use. I have to give credit to hubby he worked out where the lines needed to be.
The image is from the Golfing Popcorn plate.
I cut away his golf clubs and added items from the Pirate stamp set by Woodware.
He's coloured with copics E30 E31 E57
Hat C1 C3 C5 the scarf is stamped onto a Doodle Bug paper.
I had to print onto the back to make it fit... and draw the lines with a fine liner.
For that added sparkle the sword and jewels are coloured with sakura stardust pens.
The text on the map I did on the computer and the images are from the woodware pirate stamp set.
Edit: Thank you to Woodware DT for the inspiration for the map.
Distressed with TH vintage photo ink lightly spritz with water.
The galleon is from my die cut by cross-cuts which I coloured with copics... made a simple stand and added sizzix die cut waves at the back.
Have a look at my other teamies they've come up with some brilliant ideas.
I'd love to see your creations... so go on... are you up for the challenge?
Hope so.
Thanks for stopping by have a wonderful weekend,
Love Cherie //*.*\\
