Class Mates

Hi
Caz here with you today to share some design team inspiration.
A simple page of some excited kiddies leaving primary school heading off to high school.

I simply painted the A2z scraplets title with a bright red Kaisercraft paint
Just a few simple bits of embellishing the page to add to the twins school albums. Just a touch of lime paint to the project life themed chippie and a white gel pen to highlight the text.

 Products used were:
Simple stories papers
String
Sticko school embellies
Kaisercraft paint

I hope you have enjoyed my share today
Till next time

Happy Australia Day and woohoo, Stencils are back!

Hi, Deb here on the blog today.
Well, what better way to celebrate Australia Day than with a trip up the river, camping, fishing and if the weather is suitable, some toasted marshmallows! We're lucky, we don't have to go far to the mighty Murray River so we try to do it as much as possible.

My share today is from a little while ago and marginally cooler weather. After a day of gathering wood, fishing, cooking, eating and more fishing, some yummy, gooey, toasted marshmallows are the go. The title Happy Campers really says it all.

I have used one of A2Z Scraplets stencils which have been released on the website. These are made of a strong plastic and can be used over and over and over ....... and over again. It has simply been misted to give some visual texture to the page. Also symbolizes the condition of some of the marshmallows - burnt!

Here's a close up of the title. Colored red using chalk ink and then outlined with black permanent marker.

And a little extra bit of chipboard embellishment with the @camping word.

Materials used:
Bella papers
Chalkboard Mist
Chalk Ink
Permanent Marker
Flair

My next share is a page that all parents will relate to. Back to school! Not long to go and all our little treasures will be back in those classrooms, noses down, working their little butts off .......... after they have caught up with all their friends of course.

I love how this frame came up. I coloured it with a black permanent marker leaving the engraved areas for colouring with gel pens.

If you enjoy the latest craze - colouring - then give it a go on your chipboard. We are introducing a white range for this very reason. (this frame was regular raw chipboard)

Every kid is a Superstar!

Hi, it's Deb here today with another quite project. Most of the student of the week or school awards get filed for posterity but it's nice to show off one here and there in the children's scrapbooks.

I used one of the Kaisercraft paper ranges Too Cool for School. I love the Collection packs with a choice of papers and the stickers. Kits and Collections are a great way to go when you want to coordinate your papers.

The title - Superstar - is simply coloured yellow.

School Days

Hi tere
caz here with you today. I have a school layout to share. School goes back this coming Wednesday in Tasmania. So I am excited. Hopefully some more crafty time is ahead for me.

For this layout I used the School days frame which was a new release in January.

I just coated the scraplet in gesso so the colours would be a little richer then I simply coloured with my copic pens. Simple but effective in bringing out some rich colour.

A close up of the scraplet.

Products used were
A2z scraplets School Days frame
Kaisercraft Class act collection paper
String
Gauze
