I love the smell of a haiku in the morning; it smells like violet verses & truncated stanzas. Have been playing rough with the haiku gang since Haibun has become my go-to form; done my own way, of course.
I love the unexpected 'frog leaps' instead of 'leap frogs'--adds a twist to the words that causes the reader to sit up and pay closer attention. Very effective.
Ha. Lips on fire is not bad,
ReplyDeleteas long as they are not sun burnt.
Smoking hot out there today
lovely color of moon you chose too.
Perfect!
