Curves is back ! So if you have it then flaunt it ( even that if you don't have curve a.k.a skinnier woman!) As long as you feel good about your body then celebrate it. Check out Kim Kardashian's blog. I just read it this morning and love this entry.

It is an important message for us to share with our ( teenage)children that not all of the pictures we see in the magazine are real and Kim's statement is an inspiration. Body image's issue and eating disorder are very serious now a days.

If we don't love our body and our self then who will??

I am much more comfortable with my self now. I accepted my flaws , my art-less skill, my un-soothing singing voice for other, my drop dead awful hand writing. But who care?

I am happy being my self. And I love my body too. And because of that I am on the way to show it and to love it more. Not just for appearance to look slimmer, leaner, prettier but mostly for the sake of my health.

We are what we eat they said, and I think that is true. I am not in my 20's anymore , so sooner or later I must watch what I eat for my health and take a good care of my body and soul. My motto is : just don't over eat or over do in everything we want to do.

I am not saying that we can grow big and bigger and no need to take care of our body and health . YES we MUST ! But we all come in different sizes, and shapes. And we need to feel comfortable in our skin first then work it out. :)


And remember to make fun of our self once in a while, If we can't laugh at our self this time, how sad that would be?



P.S: it is very important to surround our self with people who love us for who we are! Our spouse, our children, family and friends! Encouraging and supporting people ARE different from Negatively Critical people!

The visit from the "Queen"

Yes, She was back to KK last week. Like high school girls we were so excited to see each other again after a year she moved back to Ipoh ( and after a year of non stop sms-ing, calling, chatting, emailing, Facebooking, blogging, etc). I think her dh is super cool to allowed her to take a break off for a week with me. Or should I said he knew that her wife can't behave good if she stays anywhere near me? kekekekekeke.... but we DID behave good ( don't worry Mr.M.S , She didn't break anything here and still had her healthy appetite, but she took my eyeshadows palletes !!)

Like school girls, we chat and chat and chat, laughed until our face and stomach hurt and of course cursed each other ( Hey , that can't be missed out!). It's been a long time since my girly girls pijama party. So of course we like it so much.

We slept around midnight or 1 a.m the latest everynight. I knew that she needs to sleep when she started to call me " bok" and then " bak". And her eyes were no more than 2 straight lines ! SLEEEP!!!

Us @ The Mediterranean , Tg Aru. I had Beef Carpaccio and Sole fish alla Livonerse and Your Majesty had her favorite Spicy Crab Soup and Nepture Platter. Lebahsibuk had Mushroom soup and Sirloin steak in red wine sauce ( I think :P)

So the week gone with lunches, shopping at One Borneo, Karamunsing, Warisan Square. Lunch with some mommies in Little Italy. And the day before that we went to movie too. We also managed to had dinner at The Mediterranean with lebaksibuk . Your Majesty wish to dine there one more time but too bad we didn't have the chance.

The highlight of all I think was the " greet and meet " with her" fans" in KK. So we had this small pot luck lunch at my place on Saturday. We planned to cook more food. Your Majesty wanted ME to make Tiramisu and SHE will make the Cendol. But I said NO TIME. Do you know why? Because she was in bed with EDWARD CULLEN until mid morning!!! Or until I threw a soft toys to her , and kicked her out of her bed ! It drove me crazy because this is her second time reading Twilight , YES SECOND, but yet she was still glued on it. And she's been watching the movie , like for 10th times!!!! A true O.C .D (Obbesive Cullen Disorder)to the core!! SIPUUUUUT!!!

Eyelashes extension

This is another sharing post. I've done a few of eyelashes extension, not all the time, but sometimes, depends on my mood ( my mood always take an important role in my dress up and beauty regime)

The first time I tried this because of a friend and then we went to did it together. And we all know how long lashes can instantly make our eyes look bigger and prettier.

The different between eyelash extension and fake eyelashes is the shapes . Generallyfake eyelashes comes in a whole strip, eyelashes extension comes in strands. And it will need to be put on by a professional and it last longer.

I am not good at putting fake lashes, I found it to be very tricky. So that's why I think eyelashes extension is a good option for me.

There are 2 types that I've tried so far ( and not sure if there are many more option out there)
Single strand, and multi strands.

The single strand basically is just a single strand of eyelash and it will be glued to our eyelid, one by one. There are length to choose from. And the whole process will take about 1 hour.

The multi strands consist of a bunch of single strand. So the base of the bunch will be thicker , it will also glued to our eyelid. It takes about 30-45 mins to put on . And also comes in certain length.

I prefer the multi strands, as it last longer and faster to put on and easier to maintain. The single strand tends to fall off easily.
But the single strand of course will look much more natural from near.

The cost here in KK is about RM 50. And it last me about 7-10 days before I need to have the repair ( just add in the fall off pieces) price will be vary.

The maintainance:
you will need to be careful not to scrub you eyes obviously . And when you take out your eyemake up you will need to be careful also, use cotton bud will do.

Pain factor:
Almost zero pain factor, but the glue will sting your eyes. It will go away in a while when it dries out. If your vision blur after the extension you just need to wash your face after the glue dries properly.

Find a beautician with a good skill to achieve a natural looking lashes and I always opt for natural length . No one wants to end up looking like a drag queen here ! :-D

Fish Feet Spa

I heard about this quite sometimes ago. And when we were in Singapore we also wanted to try but time was not on our side (plus who gonna take care of the kids?). So when I heard that we can found the Fish Spa here in KK I am totally gonna try it.

Located in 1Borneo. So the plan is to go there to have lunch , and we also asked our maid to come along , after lunch we dropped them in the Playground. While me and hubby went to the Fish Spa . 20 mins for RM 28 ( promo price).

It was VERY ticklish for the first few minutes. And I kept laughing out loud. And My dh has a really sensitive feet, so he doesn't like anything touching his feet so the idea or many fish nibbling on his feet was not his best option.

He wanted to backed off and take the feet reflexology instead. But I made him stay . :)

Anyway after a few minutes the tingly feeling got better. And it was fun. I want to do it again.

The result:
I like it! My rough skin become smooth, also my dh's feet is smoother. But not so even. The fish this time concentrate more on the bottom of my feet and calves, but not so much at the heel .
Also if the skin is very thick I dont think the fish can get rid of it by one "meal". So that's why I want to go back and do again ( and will drag my dh to do again)

After Fish Spa we also had the 40 mins of reflexology. It was pain but bearable. Long time since my last Reflexology. And it feels good!

Anyway the fish is called GARRA RUFA originally from Turkey , middle east. And they feet our the dead skin of our feet ( or body ) And we just arrived the staff just put the fish into the "tank" . So from that I've guessed that our feet were their breakfast.

See how the fish concentrate on his heels and bottom of his feet,while with me they like my calves and bottom of my feet but not so much of the my heels.

Make up diary

Just want to share my make up diary :p

I don't use this step for my daily make up, this is more to abit of complete look for me. As you know start with the right base of foundation and powder is the key.

I started with clean face( of course) and I primed it with Lancome primodiale cell defense and Primodiale Eye Cream.

This is after the foundation and powder and concealer but before the bronzer.

Then I start to put the Lumiere cashmere silk foundation in light medium natural, Lumiere flawless finishing powder in sheer. And Rested 3d eye ( as concealer and eye based). And I also use the bronzer from Lumiere as well in Nude.

This is after the bronzer, to give the skin more warm and sunkissed and more healthy color.

Then I used Lumiere eyeshadow in Cafelate as the base and high light ( for my daily make up I don't really use base on highlight colors, I keep my eye lid bare and just use one or two neutral color only.

But as I said , I try to show the more complete look, so here i use the 3d rested to primed my eyes , as based and highlight I use Cafelate and then I am in the mood of "greenish" so I choose one of my fave color and I use the deep forest green ( shimmer line from Lumiere)

The tools is also esential, invest in a good quality of brush. No need to break the bank but choose the good one. I like the PAC ( professional artish cosmetic an Indonesian brand) and Red earth series , and I just got the wet/dry brush from lovingminerals.com.

Using the Mineral eyeshadow can be tricky for first time user. The key is to use as less as possible and tap the excess on your palm then brush it light it over the lid. Add more if you need too then just blend in well.

As I said I use the Deep Forest Green close to the eye lashes, and as I got eyelashes extension recently I don't use eyeliner or mascara this time. Usually for Mascara I love the Make Up Forever Extra Black Smoky Lash Macara and for liner I like Chanel in blue/denim ( but this is an limited edition so I just use another dark blue color also from Chanel and it is waterproof :D) or else I use PAC black charcoal liner. For today look I use the PAC eyeshadow set in Grey for the second color on the middle lid.

I also learnt from a make over session from Make Up Forever that this brush on the left is VERY good for blending. It is a full round brush not a flat one. How to : move in small circular motion , and blend outward of the eyelid. So here I blend the green and gray together with this brush.

And the other trick that I learnt also is : after you use the main color of your eye, use the same brush , no need to put more eyeshadow but instead use the left over color and line the outer corner of the bottom of your eyes for natural smoked look. Blend it with your finger tips (as the warmth of our finger will help to blend it better)

And here is the result :p... Oh and I use the lumiere blush in "O" and L'oreal Glam Shine 6H in Pink Dazzle. Another favorite is Clinique long lasting gloss SPF 15 in clearly pink and MAC tinted lipgloss SPF 15 in Fuschia Fix

This is "My" make up routine and this is not the "guide" to do make up or trying to be a make up guru or anything. You can take the tips that you think might work for you , and throw the other that you think is rubbish or you can also give me your tips! How about that? :p

Easter fun

With 2 girls at home, there are a lot of girly things going on in our household. As you can imagine all those glittery bags, wallet, pretend make ups, and of course dresses.. a lot of dresses.

So on Easter Day we took them over to one of our favorite place ( of a few good restaurants here ) , TATU cafe had a special Easter Buffet Dinner, and when I made the reservation , the manager told me to dressed up my girls for fashion show contest.

I didn't idea of course on how to dress them. And no preparation at all. So I waited for Indy, and let her decide what to wear. After she got back from Sunday School and Easter Eggs hunting, she picked the flower girls gown for herself and the Snow White dress for Maya. And I thought that this is not Easter appropriate attires, but never mind, just to let them to have more experience and more fun.

Before Dinner,drawing time . I like do dressed them in matching outfits these days :)

It was a surprise that Maya agreed to put the dress on after we finished our dinner. But she refused to walk on the "catwalk" as I predicted. She was to scare of the "Easter bunny man" hahah....

Well , Indy surely enjoyed the moment and she won a barbie doll for her effort. And Maya was happy enough to get two hand fulls of easter chocolate eggs!

And this were taken on Friday, we went to One Borneo and they got balloons from the clown, and we had lunch at NY NY before we headed to the playground. Well them went to the playground with Helen ( our helper) and me headed to have some of mentally "retail therapy" :-D

Adam is the new Zac? Please....

There are some comparison that Adam Lambert is the new Zac Efron . WHAT? Oh please, Adam can sing MUCH better than the pretty boy. Yes, I am not a fan of Zac, sure he is pretty to look at sometimes but that about it. Nothing more. No edges, No personality that stands out, he is just too perfect ( face) and too sweet... kind of boring for me? I don't say that he is bad, nope, but he is just not my cuppa tea. Sorry Zac's fans......but I am all over R.Pattz now :) because he has flaws and all! ok i will stop bragging about R.P here.

But I must admit that Adam did remind me of Elvis, not the performance but much more into his profile and figure.

And the other thing that I like about Adam that he is true to him self. Eye make up and nail polish! He doesn't scare that his image will make people judge him differently.

If you haven't read it, never mind, but just FYI, the Volterra part in the book will be shoot in Montepulciano, Tuscany. WOW... now I wish my husband is from that part of Italy so I will have the excuses to be there ( dreaming)

Anyway, I think New Moon will be bigger than Twilight , for sure more visual effects

Robert Pattinson Fan or not ( I am definitely one!), I think he portray Edward Cullen perfectly. The big different between "the real" Rob and Edward is just a proof that he is a great actor. To play a role of a 108 years old trapped in body of a perfect 17 years old boy.
