'Beauty'
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some crafty
inspiration with you.

'Beauty'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used some of the 'Grid Bits'
that I have embossed in a bright white finish
and used in among my layers.

I have also used one of the 'Mini Decorative Frame Set 1'
that I have also embossed in white.
I have tucked this slightly under my layers of papers and 'Grid Bits'.

For my title, I used one of the words from the 'Fine Word Set 2',
again embossed in white.

Lastly, I used one of the branches from the 'Foliage Set 2',
also embossed in white to match my other chipboard pieces.

I hope that you like what I have created!
I will be back soon with some more scrappy goodness for you.

Until then,

Lisa

"Journey"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

 Hello everyone,

I present to you my second inspiration for this month of October: a layout with photos
of my grandson taken this summer, contemplating a pond with turtles. He was fascinated!

"Journey"

The chipboard used:

- Thin Hexagon Stacked Frames
- Thin Square Stacked Frames
- Foliage Set 2
- Journey

I start by applying a coat of white gesso to each particle board.
To frame the photos I use a “Thin Hexagon Stacked Frames” and a “Thin Square Stacked Frames”
They are simple while bringing fantasy through their design to this layout which I wanted to be very refined.

I applied Lindy's Gang inks in shades of green to the foliage, using a brush equipped with a reservoir.

I position them around my photos to have a visual impression of extension in relation to the decor
of the photos. I add splashes of white gesso to obtain a less sharp effect.

"Journey"
I chose this imposing title which fits perfectly and which illustrates this moment when my grandson
is lost in his thoughts. It is decorated with a single coat of “matte white” acrylic paint.

I am hoping that this layout will be a source of inspiration for you.

Thank you very much for your visit!

This Moment - by Emma Zappone

 Hello 2crafty friends.
Em with you today, this time sharing an 8x8 canvas.
Canvas' are really becoming one of my favourite surfaces to work with.

This project I really wanted to only work with black & white, with just a small hint of 1 colour,
which I chose to be pink.

Here are the chipboard elements used on this project....

Decorative Doily 6"
Foliage set 2
Circle Flowers

In keeping with the B&W theme, I painted all the chippy in black gesso.

This made them really stand out from the white and when the pink elements were added.

Once all the papers, chippy and embellishments were added I flicked with white ink to add that contrast against the black.

I love this concept of neutrals with one small pop of colour. I think I will be trying it out again real soon.
Hmmm, I wonder what colour to use next.....

Till next time, stay Crafty.
Em xx

Fantasy Layout Inspiration by Elena Martynova

 Hello scrappy friends!
My new layout is about spring, waking up nature, new discoveries and impressions!
I let my fantasy spread its wings and sent her flying free :)))
No rule, restrictions, patterns and norms!
The composition was formed easily and naturally, and bright details revived the layout.

In the background is a sheet of paper from ABStudio.
I also added pages from the old dictionary and paper from Prima from the Forever Green collection.

I made the leaves of the oak from the  Foliage Set 2
bright green as the first spring leaves.

To support the mushroom cap on the card at the top of the page,
I painted the Turkish Lanterns  in  flashlight bright red.
I really like how it attracts the eye!

 Added such a remarkable phrase

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

But that's not all for today!

From scraps of paper and small chippys I made these ATCs.

I used the following 2Crafty Chipboard:

I hope you enjoyed my works,
and you also wanted to try to do something unusual and interesting!

Thank you for visiting, have a lovely crafty day!

Summer Notebook by Elena Martynova

Hello my dear friends!!!
I will tease you with a piece of summer inspiration among winter :)))
Another notebook happened in my work!
Soft cozy with a million layers of different lace and a bunch
parts on the cover that I want to touch with a finger :)))
Notebook is designed for a young girl who will write
the best memories of her summer.

I decorated  Frame Retro Set  with butterflies.

 I also added   Lattice Leaves

The notebook is filled with magical aromas of herbs and flowers, a premonition of something exciting. interesting and unusual!

On the first flyleaf I made an envelope for notes and a frame for a photo of a little mistress.

I added to it an elegant chip sprig from the set of
Flourish Adornment Set 5 , and the butterfly flew herself :)))

And maybe the girl will write the most cherished dreams,
and she'll put them in an envelope...

The first page is pink as early-early June dawn!

The first rays of the sun painted a blade of grass with flowers from the Foliage Set 2
the night cool has not yet passed, and the birds are already singing their songs!

The second page is warm and Sunny as the day begins!

Under the branches of oak so nice to hide from the scorching rays!

The butterfly flew to the pages of the notebook and comfortably settled on them :)))

The third page calls us to swim in the river. Willow twig bent to
the water, and its leaves tremble with waves.

The fourth page reminds us that twilight is very close.
Another summer day will live a happy and carefree life.

The forest keeps many secrets, only the attentive will find some of them.
The key from the set of Key Set Lge decorated another big envelope.
A lot of photos and memorabilia fit in it.

I hope you enjoyed this little trip to childhood and summer :)))
Run in and we'll go somewhere else. :)))
