Picnic Time at Digi Haven

Weather permitting ... it's Picnic Time at Digi Haven!  Our challenge will run for 2 weeks so start working on your picnic themed creations!!

Here is my first attempt at a pop-up box.  I have to admit, I cheated by using my Silhouette to do the cutting for me!  It has been a long time since I've been able to play with new projects / designs and am tickled with how it turned out.

The images, picnic basket, watermelon and drinking glass were from the Picnic Bear digi set by MyGrafico.

Red & Green Challenge Time!

For my card I used the baubles from the Christmas Digital Stamp collection by My Grafico.  I changed the color of the image on my computer the used my ornament die cut to cut it out....thought I would stay with the bauble theme thru and thru!

2 Colors Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Haven!  Our theme is use "Two Colors".

The two colors I chose were purple and black, pretty obvious I know!  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out this coffin card.  I went through my Hallowe'en stash and found some purple and black netted ribbon as well as the rest of the embellies I used.  For something different, I used some googlie (hmm, is it googley?) eyes for the centre of the flowers and the charm is from The Charm Barn.   The label in the centre is from the Vintage Halloween Labels by MyGrafico.

Animals Challenge!

It's Animal time at Digi Haven!  That's right, we want you to bring out your inner animal, show us what you got!  You can use any type of animal as long as you use at least one!

This cute porcupine digi is from the Woodland Animal Collection by MyGrafico and the sentiment is computer generated.  I did some embossing then layered it with papers from the Blissful collection by Authentique ... added some twine and buttons and there you go!
