 Hello everyone, Julia Akramova and my inspiration for August.  A very beautiful mood board in blue prompted me to do this kind of work in the form of a mermaid tail.  And, of course, it was not without favorite materials from 13art.  Get inspired, create and we are waiting for your work.

Awesome is a State of Mind - Journal Page by Fiona

Hello my dear 13 Arts friends. Fiona here with you today to share an art journal page I have created with the new collection "Alice in Candyland" designed by the talented Olga Heldwein.

I had so much fun creating this colourful page. I layered lots of papers that I had created with my 13@rts paint during a gel press session and then I tore up pieces and used them to create my background.

The "Alice in Candyland" collection comes with lots of fun cut outs like this little hopping bunny guy. I just couldn't resist using him as a feature in my art journal creation.

I also had some fun with some SPLASH! ink and some METALLIC! paint.

And then as a finishing touch I added some of the donuts ..... which then made me want to eat donuts!!!

The title comes from the amazing sticker sets. What I love most about this collections stickers is that you can mix and match the sayings. So that is how I came up with the title for this one "Awesome is a state of mind"

Final project from Amelie Jutras

December is the last month with our Guest Designers. Here's what Amelie Jutras made as her final project. Isn't it beautiful?

I started my creation with the paper "Nostalgia" from the Vintage Moment collection. I applied a layer of transparent gesso before using the stencil "Cells" with the modeling paste. Once dry, I used Rainbow Color "Brown" and Ayeeda Mist "Chalk Brown" with water and a brush.

I later played with the thicknesses by adding different cuts in the paper "In the past". I added dried black roots as well as sisal and Cladonia rangiferina shade of ecru. I finished my creation by adding some wooden chipboards and some flowers.

I also added a sticker from the A4 Labels - Vintage Moments 2 - Big words sheet. Finally, to add some shine to my page, I added a few touches of Ayeeda Ink "Bronze Glitter ».

"Believe" mixed media canvas by Christina

Hello 13Arts fans!!!This is Christina with you today with a mixed media canvas again. This time with a photo from my first daughter..It;s a photo from our vacations in sunny Greece , at a beach and I love this very much... My canvas today is full of colours , like my first attempts in mixed media , when my pages were colourful... Well, I missed using them and today I wanted something like this. The "Art Journey " collection is perfect for creations fresh and colourful , so you should try it for sure.

Firstly I started by covering my canvas with clear gesso and  by sticking some stripes of bookpages and papers from the collection. 

Then , I painted with pink splash ink and turquise mist my papers and added some white gesso here and there!

Now , it was the time to add some modeling paste... Mixed media means texture for me , so the modeling paste is my favourite and the most necessary product... Of course I used one of the newest stencils from Maremi's collection.

After everything had dried , I added some foam letters... I have missed a lot these elements and I wanted to use them for extra texture. Look how they match with the backround!

The final step is to dacorate my page...I have used some 13Arts chipboards , some sisal in pink and white , pink ribbon and white lace and of course my favourite microspheres and plastic microspheres.
                   At the end I added some splashes from white gesso here and there...

hello! today I want to present you my favorite colors - mint and turquoise in a slightly different way...

hej! dzisiaj chcę Wam zaprezentować moje ulubione kolory - miętowy i turkusowy w nieco innej odsłonie...

I wanted make a birthday cards for men, so I decided to use a black gesso as a backing and... it was excellent choice! :) 

Chciałam zrobić męskie kartki urodzinowe, więc zdecydowałam się jako podkładu użyć czarnego gesso... i to był świetny wybór! :)

I think, because of that, cards are more mystery and magical :) and I like that! and you?

myślę, że dzięki temu, wyszły bardziej tajemniczo i magicznie :) i bardzo mi się to podoba! a Wam?
