Dead as a doornail

My computer is dead. Dead as a doornail. It is so dead, that I can't get it past that 'blue screen of death', as our friend Dave calls it. We have resurrected it once, but this time it may not happen. Frankly, I'm tired of resurrecting it. We have had it for almost 6 years, which is 2 years longer than the average life of a PC, according to consumer reports.org

Andy and I are now pondering over one of life's greatest questions: will we be a Mac or stay a PC?
