This includes Iberdrola Mexico’s sale to Mexico Infrastructure Partners, an entity engaged in investing in infrastructure and energy projects, of its 8.5 GW of combined cycle gas plants from Iberdrola México, a subsidiary of Iberdrola for USD 6.2 billion, this deal won the best transaction deal award of the year at the IX Premios Expansión Jurídico in 2024. Our team advised EW Group on the acquisition of Planasa, global leader in the agri-tech sector from its seller International private equity firm Cinven. Recently, our team also advised Iberdrola Group and Norges Bank, a Norway-based bank, on their co-investment agreement for the joint development of a portfolio of renewable assets in the Iberian Peninsula, structured through an M&A transaction valued at approximately EUR 307 million.

We join several pro bono activities with other shareholders and entities throughout the year.

Every year, we join an educational program of the Community of Madrid aimed at students in the 4th year of Secondary Education at public schools. This program is carried out on a pro bono basis, with the aim of bringing the education system and businesses closer together. We join the “Street Law” initiative, in collaboration with prestigious Universities such as ICADE and IE, that brings the law to the most disadvantaged.
