Lancome Absolu Rouge in French Peluche Review

I get my mood from the lipsticks I wear.

Lancome Absolu Rouge review by Nikki Tiu of Askmewhats.com

And I find myself searching for new lip color from different lipstick brands every MONDAY!  Thank God I work as a beauty content creator, can you imagine just how shock my husband will be whenever I purchase new lipsticks every weekend?  --- YES Husband!  BE GRATEFUL !  :P

Lancome Absolu Rouge review by Nikki Tiu of Askmewhats.com

The shade of the week is called French Peluche 289.   This looks deep brown red on tube but appears reddish-orange brown on my lips.

Lancome Absolu Rouge review by Nikki Tiu of Askmewhats.com

Lancome Absolu Rouge Lipsticks are soft blurred matte lipsticks - meaning, they look BLURRED when applied on lips because it somewhat has a powder-matte finish.  It is very comfortable to use and glides easily on lips leaving no traces of glossiness.

There's also a nice trick to apply this luxurious French lipstick brand, apply a good amount on lips and use your clean fingers to blend out harsh edges.  Natural-looking at its finest.

Lancome Absolu Rouge review by Nikki Tiu of Askmewhats.com

I can wear this lipstick all day without feeling a thing.  Indeed lightweight and dry-lips friendly.
Will definitely go back to the store for more shades to collect!

From Trash To Fab

Remember my favorite EUREKA MOMENTS posts here on my blog?
I kind of did that but in video format!  I have been doing make-up for so long - since Highschool to be esact.  Not on myself but as a make up artist on school plays and summer theatre programs.

I have experienced many challenges during those gigs and here I am sharing my years of knowledge --- call me SENSEI :P

Yes holding these supposedly "Trash" because they either do not work for me because of a wrong shade, or maybe, I hit the pan on them.

Please watch this video for quick tip!

Wedding Guest Makeup Look and Outfit

So it has been a while since I attended a wedding!  Several wedding invitations passed by my hands but I wasn't able to attend any of them for so many reasons and I told myself I had to break the "bad luck".

My Best Man got married but Kyle was extremely sick.
My college barkada got married this year and I was looking forward to attend her wedding but my dad had a stroke.

My highschool classmate invited us for his Wedding last week and I told myself I had to go, praying so hard nothing bad will happen again.

THANKFULLY, I was fully made up and was able to dress up...so you know I was able to attend - FINALLY!

This is my hair and makeup by YOURS TRULY.

Lancôme UV Expert CCCover Review

You know how you wish sometimes your favorite SPF (which you heavily invest on) can give you the coverage you need too?

Well, in that case, I've finally found the product under the name of Lancôme UV Expert CCCover.  They invented an innovative sun care range (yes, this product is under the sun care range) to combat the seven environmental factors of the "Exposome" (visible light that leads to skin pigmentation), to help restore our complexion's rosy glow!

I am too excited for words because my make up routine is cut shorter when I use the Lancôme UV Expert XL-ShieldTM CCCover SPF50 PA+++.

a photo of Lancôme UV Expert XL-ShieldTM CCCover SPF50 PA+++.

There's a new term I mentioned in this post that I feel I had to share to you guys after constant research.  What is "Blue Light"?

New studies confirm that the blue light contained in visible light has a pigment-inducing potential. This high-energy light penetrates more deeply and intensely into the skin than UVB rays, passing through the entire epidermis and dermis.
Secondly, the effects of blue light were compared to UVB exposure. Subjects were exposed to blue light at an intensity of 87.5 J/cm², the equivalent of three hours’ exposure at the height of summer. It was thus demonstrated that blue light causes more intense pigmentation than UVB. This pigmentation is also more long-lasting, as it can persist for up to three months after exposure.
Blue light is therefore indisputably a factor to be taken into account in the fight against skin hyperpigmentation phenomena.

Lancome Blanc Expert Brightening Compact Foundation Review

So I may not be a heavy liquid/cream foundation user but I am definitely a STRONG powder foundation person!  I use it to cover up my problem areas like darkness, redness and undereye circles!  That's why when I saw Lancome has a new Brightening Compact Foundation under their Blanc Expert line, I knew I had to give this a try because who wouldn't want make up with skin care benefits?

After MONTHS of trying (2 months to be exact), I'm ready to share my thoughts on these!  A bit pricey at first glance but seriously, a powder foundation with separate compact and refill?  That's a MUST and I hope all make up brands would follow suit.

Lancome Blanc Expert Brightening Compact Foundation Says ---
Light-weight and comfortable with volatile oils and a cooling formula.  High coverage with concentrated illuminating pigments that correct dullness and enriched with the Blanc Expert skincare ingredients.

Found My Favorite Pink Blush!

And it's from Lancome Blush Subtil!
If you are a regular reader of my blog, I've always mentioned how I'm leaning towards to Peach, Coral and Bronzer-type of blush to "warm my skin" just because pink blushes make me look like a "trying hard teenager"?

Yeah, you probably forgot about the "pink blush" topic but remembered the trying hard teenager!  *laughs*  I once created a makeup look on that!  BUT...before my trail of thoughts get lost...let's get back to the first pink blush I really wear on a daily basis even on a no-makeup makeup look!

She's the one!
Rose Romantique

All thanks to my aunt who sends me samples of these because these samples help me a lot for my future "full-size" purchases!  And this blush sample from Lancome earns 2 thumbs up from me because you get good enough amount to test for at least a month!  Total of 0.07 oz (1.98g) of blush goodness!

AMW Version: Happy Heart's Month Look

Happy Wednesday AMW Friends!
Today, as promised, I will be sharing an "AMW Version" post a.k.a. step-by-step makeup tutorial as inspired by the "Heart's Month".  I've created day time and night time Valentine's day look on my last post using L'Oreal Color Riche lipsticks and the night time looks won with a landslide!  I guess you guys are tired seeing me in neutral looks huh? Well, all your wishes are my command!  Thanks for emailing me your requests and I'll try my best to do more looks and more tutorials!

Here's how it looks like when I'm doing the "dramatic" look *lol*

Are you ready for picture-laden tutorial?

Something New: Lancome Visionnaire Yeux

Hi AMW Friends!
It's Saturday!  Finally, I have a day "off"!  Well, not from being a mom but from all the work-related activities!  I've been out a lot this week and missing my baby so much so I'm definitely bonding with Baby Kyle over the weekend.

Let's talk about skincare, since I have baby AMW with me like a tiny kangaroo inside my "pouch" (translation: I carry him most of the time), I make sure to use "safe" skincare products so I haven't really been taking care of my skin lately!  Now that Baby AMW is growing at 5 months old, I'm getting back to my skincare routine and that MUST include the eye product!  I have used moisturizers again but have skipped eye products so I can definitely see some under eye darkness and puffiness appearing!

There is something new for me to try from Lancome called Visionnaire Yeux.... I have just started using this product so I can share to you for now is my initial review.

AMW Bulletin: Win 5 Minis Gloss in Love from Lancome

I fell in love with Lancome's Rouge in Love collection when I had the chance to try on their mini-versions last year and decided to repurchase a full size for clients!  Don't you just love and hate minis/samples?  They are evil!  You get to try them and fall in love with them and spend more!  *laughs*

Anyway, the return of the evil minis are here!  Lancome came up with the Gloss In Love lip glosses and guess what?  I currently have 5 minis!  Thanks Lancome Philippines for this but again, these tiny bullets are super evil!

AMW Makeover: Trial Makeup for Asian Eyes

Happy Thursday AMW friends!
Today is Thursday and I'm looking forward for the weekend!  Why?  Well, there are so many things to look forward to!  For me to pack my "hospital bag" as I'm officially on my 32nd week of pregnancy and I've been very busy for the whole month of January and February I told myself I needed the rest before the sleepless nights c/o Baby AMW!

And what's the other thing that I'm looking forward for this weekend?  My 3rd and final Benefit Fine One One Workshop!  The first and second was super fun and I met a lot of cool Benebabes so I can't wait for the third and final installment to be held at Benefit Boutique, Rustan's Makati.

Benefit Fine One One Workshop at Shangri-La
February 9, 2013

I can't wait to share more tips to the workshop attendees and speaking of tips, have you read the article I've written for Sample Room?  If not, feel free to click photo below as I've written some simple Makeup Tips for Asian Eyes.

Speaking about Asian Eyes, I recently had a trial makeup client fresh from Singapore who requested for a very simple makeup for her wedding reception.  Let me share to you some of the makeup tricks that I've did for her particular feature.

Skin: Combination (Normal/Dry)
Request: The client doesn't have any particular request
but I'm imaging her going for a very soft and natural look.

Trial makeup client exudes a very positive personality even for someone you just met for the first time.  She's jolly, friendly and very cheerful so I'm imagining a makeup for her that gives a bright and positive outlook just like her personality!  I was aiming for creating fresh, glowing skin!

To start off, I prepared her skin by applying ample oil-free moisturizer from Paul & Joe on dry areas;  lessen the look of pores on her nose area by applying Benefit's Porefessional and a moisturizing face primer for Laura Mercier for the rest of her skin!  As I let all the products to sit and do their "action", I picked up a small scissors to trim her brows and filled sparse areas with brow pencil.

As for foundation, the client doesn't have much skin problems to cover so I've decided to use a light to medium coverage liquid foundation from RMK.  I also did a bit of concealing to even out the color around the eye area and the sides of her nose using my Bobbi Brown Concealer.

I want to create bigger-looking eyes;  I picked several matte shades for a simple day time smoky eye makeup adding a bit of light, shimmer eye shadow at the inner corner to create an illusion of big, bright eyes!  (Eye shadows used: Lancome, MAC, Bobbi Brown)

For a more natural finish, I picked Dark Brown  Gel Liner instead of regular black gel liner which I usually use for a more natural look.  Black gel liner could make small eyes look even smaller if not applied correctly.  I also added dark matte brown eye shadow on top of the gel liner for a more natural finish.

Coats and coats of mascara were applied after curling her lashes with Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler;  I also applied falsies on her by cutting 1 into 2 as applying full lashes may make her eyes droopy.

Let's not forget to contour the face and nose area for that instant "painless" nose lift and face lift!

As for the cheeks, I applied a tiny bit of cream based blush from Stila, and Shu Uemura Glow On Blush in Apricot.

As for the lips, I used a lip pencil from MAC closed to her lip color and gently apply it all over her lips and top it with Lancome Juicy Tubes.

Last but not the least;  I set the area that could "oil" with a Shu Uemura Colorless Face Powder.

Client's final look on natural lighting

AMW Reviews: Lancome's Rouge In Love

I have a couple of Lancome Lipsticks which I save only for clients!  I tend to pick it up for my more mature, classy clients as that is what I feel about most Lancome lipsticks.

Not until I saw this ad...what's in my mind?

"Emma Watson!  Don't do that do your Lancome lipstick!"

*laughs* With Emma Watson as their model, the lip colors must be hip, fun and vibrant!  After a quick visit at the Lancome Counter at Rustan's Shangri-La Mall a couple of weeks ago, I'm happy to say, I'm right (again) *beams* :P !

Lancome says ---
Love your lips! Finally, the long wear lipcolor you'll love to wear. This collection of radiant, high potency colors, with up to 6 hours of wear, is surprisingly featherlight, offering delightful comfort.
Discover the lipcolor that describes you best and let your lipcolor show your mood, any time of the day.

Categorized in 3 moods:
  • Jolis Matins: Fresh shades for daytime wear. Jolis Matins shades are identified with the letter M in the shade number.
  • Boudoir Time: Pop shades for cocktail hour. Bourdoir Time shades are identified with the letter B in the shade number.
  • Tonight is My Night: Intense shades for magical nights. Tonight is My Night shades are identified with the letter N in the shade number.

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Smooth and creamy.
  • Doesn't settle in lip lines.
  • Gives moisture on lips.
  • Nice, "true to tube" , pigmented shades.
  • Has wide array of shades good for day 'til night.
  • I saw the full sized packaging at Lancome Counter and they don't look boring!
  • Stays on even after drinking and eating!  I'm surprised I came home with still a good hint of lip color even though it was completely a "no retouch night".
  • I believe this line is permanent.
Cons
  • Price.  Though the concept of changing lipsticks depending on the time of day is wonderful, it is a bit pricey to do so.
Overall
Pigmented lip color that hugs your lips and stays for longer hours and moisturizes the lips blurring out lip lines.

Tips
  • I usually advise readers to apply lipstick with a lip brush but not Lancome's Rouge In Love lipsticks, they are so creamy on tube that I enjoy the feeling of applying it straight from tube to lips!
  • If you are a makeup artist, use a lip brush and wipe before dipping your brush again on the lipstick.
  • For extra plump and shine, add a clear gloss at the center of the lips.
Will I purchase?
Yes.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Daily lipstick wearer.

Where to purchase and how much?
At Lancome counters for Php1,295.00 (approx. $30.00)

Swatch

Rouge in Love in 132M on tube
and applied heavily on lips

Rouge in Love in 163B on tube
and applied heavily on lips

132 M
Jolis Matis
This is a great day time lip color that's close to my original lip color.  It has a pale rose pink type of shade that works for an office look, no makeup look or a nice coffee break with friends.

163B
Boudoir Time
A lip color that has enough shine for that late afternoon to night out!  Though this lipstick shade is part of Boudoir Time, I feel applying this shade lightly on lips can still double up as a day time lip color!  This reminded me so much of a Clinique lip color I own called All Heart but this one is a tad bit lighter.

Personally speaking, I think all the lip shades from each category can work on different times!  There's no limit to your makeup creativity!  In simpler terms, Rouge in Love is a permanent line of lipstick from Lancome wherein different age group can enjoy!  There's always a shade for everyone because there's a wide array of shades ranging from pinks, reds, corals, browns and nudes.

Would you change your lip color depending on time of day?
How many times in a day can you change your lip color?

I do change my lip color but it doesn't depend on the time of the day but it depends on the functions I'm attending to!  In a day, the most number of lipstick shades I can change is around 3 --- MAX!

Share your lipstick stories!  I'd love to hear from you!

AMW Reports: Lancome Shangri-La Grand Reopening

One counter reopening after another, I am so happy our cosmetic counters locally are revamping their look and definitely going beyond international standard!  I, together with some bloggers were invited for Lancome Shangri-La's Grand Reopening.  We were told that the Lancome counter in Rustan's Shangri-La is the most luxurious counter to date!  Read on and join me as I explore the new world of Lancome!

Did you know that?
The first Lancome event I've attended as a blogger was 3 years ago?  It was a sneak peek of Lancome's Oscillation Mascara!  (Read report HERE)

The grand re-opening started when we were welcomed by General Manager of L'Oreal Luxe Ms. Charisse Hernandez-Chua.  Then a ribbon cutting was done with the help of Rustan's Shangri-La's Mr. Steve Mawdsley.  Everyone was in high spirits!

AMW Reviews: Lancome Teint Miracle

Good morning everyone!  It's yet, another start of the week but local readers will be having another break on Tuesday!  June 12 is the Philippine Independence Day!

Speaking about independence, isn't it great how we get to live the life we choose to live?  As we wake up everyday, we should thank God for giving us a chance to be who we are and do the things we love to do!  Don't forget to tell the people you love how much you love and appreciate them okay?

A couple of weeks ago, I was sent my first Lancome liquid foundation, I have always wanted to try the brand as I heard they make good foundation that has the coverage minus the heavy feel!  I have also been stalking (specifically) Lancome's Teint Miracle as I have read various reviews by international bloggers on how this is such a moisture-magnet type of foundation!  I know, I've always been complaining about my dry skin but this time, this "need" and "want" isn't for selfish reasons.   I've been longing to get my hands on this product because I need more foundation choices for my mature (and still gorgeous) clients!

Thankfully, I have a couple of wedding packages booked for the past weeks so I was able to road test the Lancome Teint Miracle at work and of course!  At the same time, I've been trying this out myself!

Lancome says ---

Natural light creator
Lancome invents its first foundation that boosts skin's surface radiance and reproduce inner light.

10 times less powders, for weightless perfection
This fresh veil smoothes, unifies and erases imperfections - resulting in perfectly natural and sublimely nude complexion.

18H moisture
Enriched with almost 40% of water (v.s. an average of 20%) and natural softening Rose extracts, this luxurious formula melts into skin to provide 18-hour moisturizing action.

Size: 30ml

Ingredients:

Available in 8 shades

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Nice pump packaging, product housed in a glass.  (insider tip:  you can easily clean up the bottle by twisting the pump and reuse it!)
  • Very lightweight.
  • No weird scent.
  • No skin allergic reactions.
  • Blends well and creates a nice natural looking skin.
  • Light to medium-heavy coverage. (Build-able coverage)
  • Moisturizing!
  • Does not settle into fine lines.
  • Skin looks healthy but never glittery nor shiny.
Cons
  • Oil-control isn't as good as other foundations.
  • Price
  • Super problematic skin may find them piling up on this foundation, it's no biggie as the foundation NEVER feels heavy but it is quite pricey to pile on a lot!  Easier to finish up a bottle.
  • Designed specifically for Asian skin, our friends from the west may find this range a bit too yellow/orange for their skin.  Don't fret though, base on research, I think Lancome came out with a whole different range meant for you.  Asian versions are made and formulated in Japan.
Overall
Tried and tested on myself and on mature clients, the Lancome Teint Miracle can be used even without moisturizer underneath, it never sets into fine lines and it gives a nice, youthful glow.  Clients appreciate the "lightweight" feel and I certainly agree (after pulling this product in and out of my train case as I enjoyed using this as well!).  The best asset for this product is its ability to make you look like you have naturally good skin without the obvious foundation look.  The only set back is the price.

Tips
  • Shake well before use.
  • Oily skin may go for Lancome Maquiliquide UV Infinite which is meant for oily/combination skin.
  • Apply using a foundation brush is the best tool for me.  I use the right amount of foundation without wastage.
  •  If you have dry/oily combination skin, apply Lancome Teint Miracle on your drier areas and apply only a thin layer on the oilier area.  Set with your choice of oil-control setting powder or powder foundation.
  • For full coverage, finish off with a heavy coverage powder foundation.  It seals the deal.
  • If you feel that most concealer could settle into the lines below your eyes, use this foundation and spot conceal the darkness without the heavy feel.
  • Before you purchase the product, ask help from Lancome's SA to help pick the right shade for you.  Best to have them apply the product on one side of your face and check how the shade matches your neck.
Will I repurchase?
 Yes!

To whom do I recommend this to?
This product is best used for people with normal to combination skin and are willing to shell out a bit more for liquid foundation because of the super lightweight feel.

I also found out after using this on some of my makeup gigs that this foundation works so well on mature skin.

Where to purchase and how much?
At local Lancome Boutique for Php2,200 (approx $50.00).

Product shots and swatch

Shade: O-04
(O is Ochre while BO is Beige Ochre)

Beige Ochre has a bit more yellow tone than Ochre
O-04 can be used by medium to medium dark skinned individuals

Left photo- bare face
Right photo - with a layer of Lancome Teint Miracle in O-04
A thin layer of Lancome's Teint Miracle gives me an even, light coverage.  The mole on my left cheek as seen on the after photo (right) is blurred out and some of the redness on the sides of my nose was lessened.  The good thing about this foundation is the wonderful fact that it still looks like my skin.

Keep in mind that if you have scars, zits or pigmentation, a concealer is still needed for extra coverage.

Left photo - with a thin layer of Lancome Teint Miracle
Right photo - set with a thin layer of L'Oreal White Perfect Pearl Duo Foundation in Golden Ivory

Coverage from light to medium can easily be done without piling a lot of products, setting the liquid foundation with a medium coverage powder foundation will give an extra coverage and oil control that you need.

A photo of me wearing Lancome's Teint Miracle several hours after the "kiddie party".  The effect was very natural even with flash. (Thanks Mr. Ronald McDonald and Hamburglar for taking a photo with us!  LOL)

AMW Makeover: UFC Girl Arianny Celeste

Good morning and Happy Friday Everyone!

An old client of mine recommended me to a company who needed a makeup artist to do their print ad (thanks Joey!).  Who would've thought the "lucky me" gets to work twice with the country's number 1 Car Accessories Center --- Concorde ?

The first project was an outdoor shoot and I will be sharing my experience once the company have released the photos!  For now, I'm quite excited to see this photo at their Facebook page for the newly opened Concorde Harbor Point in Subic!

The model's name is Arianny Celeste, to those who don't know her (mostly girls hahaha)  Here's a snippet from Wikipedia.

Arianny Celeste (born November 12, 1985) is an American ring girl and model  She is best known for being an Octagon Girl for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Arianny is of Mexican and Filipino decent which spells G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!  She appeared in various international magazines such as Maxim, FHM, Sports Illustrated, Playboy and a whole lot more!

So am I ready to do her makeup?  YOU BET!!! (fan girl mode on)
The shoot was done at The Fashion Academy Manila, prior to the Concorde shoot Arianny was up for FHM Philippines Cover Shoot (you can see her in this month's issue!)

As soon as the FHM shoot was over, I immediately fixed the work station as I'll be doing both her hair and makeup! (Okay, there wasn't any fixing!  Look how messy everything was!!!  *laughs*)

We had a meeting with the Photographer and the client a couple of hours before the shoot and it was decided how the company wanted the "look" of their model.  Everyone (including myself) agreed on a very natural, fresh, young and vibrant look!

Here's a photo taken several hours after the shoot

Here's another peek on her makeup!  I will do my best to remember the products used!

One of the few shots I got from the photographer Mark Lao of  Trio Photography Philippines.   Do book them if you need photographers as they are very professional and good!

I can't wait to see these posters in person and probably take a photo with it  *lol*!  Let me know if you've visited the store!

I want to thank the wonderful people behind Concorde Philippines for the trust!  This is indeed a project that I enjoyed doing and doesn't feel like work at all!

Do you know Arianny Celeste prior to my Wikipedia knowledge power?  *laughs*

AMW Reviews: Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara

Happy Hump Day everyone!  How's the week treating you?  I have a very tight schedule today, all I need is prayers from all of your for good weather!  Please don't rain okay? :)  Don't worry I will definitely share to everyone what's keeping me busy soon...not now....soon!  *laughs*

I won't leave you without a blog post so I'm doing a review on one cute mascara from Lancome called Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara.  The name itself is super intriguing, who doesn't want to look like a doll? (Hopefully not the Chaka doll..laughs) ---> sorry Filipino humor there!

On a serious note, I hope the "chaka doll" (ugly doll) won't tamper a bit of your respect for me!  I should just tape my mouth and go on with the review! :)

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara says ---
The secret behind doll lashes, finally revealed!
Lancôme's most flirtatious lash look. A volumized, extended and full lash fringe for a wide-eye look.

The secret behind this amazing result?
A new, unique, cone-shaped brush provides an extremely smooth and clean application, precisely defining even your hard-to-reach corners and lower lashes. Combined with the exclusively developed FiberShineTM formula, it sculpts, curls and loads each lash for the ultimate shiny lash fringe. Lift and thicken every single lash without weighing it down. Push up your lashes for your most flirty, wide open eye look.

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Cute packaging that can still count as "professional"
  • Cone shaped brush which makes it easier to reach the inner corner of the lashes.
  • The tip of the brush is best used on the lower lashes applied in vertical motion.
  • Coats each lashes pretty well and gives a nice, natural, thick lashes effect.
  • Texture is not too runny nor too dry, it's just right.
  • Doesn't clump my lashes.
  • No crunchy lashes.
  • Holds the curl the whole day!
  • So far, this does not smudge on a super hot and humid weather.
  • At the end of the day, it is easy to remove the mascara with regular eye makeup remover.
Cons
  • Has fragrance.  Personally speaking, I prefer my mascaras to be non-scented.  (Others may put this up on a pro, this is a personal preference.)
  • Did not lengthen my lashes greatly as expected for "Doll Eyes".
  • The price!
Overall
Unique brush head, formulation is light and doesn't create crunchy lashes.  Gives good definition to your lashes minus the "fake" look.

Tips
  • Never share the same mascara wand with other people, if you are a makeup artist, use a disposable mascara wand!
  • A bit tricky to apply at first, I like using the tip of the brush first and apply good amount of mascara on the inner corner of the lashes, then coat the rest of the lashes.
  • 2-3 coats are enough if you have naturally long and thick lashes.
  • 3-5 coats are okay for people who have non-existent lashes.
  • If your lashes clump together, use a spoolie brush to comb your lashes and separate the clumps.
  • For expensive mascaras, you can go beyond 3 months as long you are using the mascara on your own.
Will I repurchase?
For clients --- yes!  For myself, I prefer unscented mascaras.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Anyone who doesn't mind splurging on mascara.  This is perfect for those aiming for wide-eyed look as this mascara definitely gives a nice definition coating each of your lashes making it appear thicker and longer.

Where to purchase and how much?
At Lancome Counters at Rockwell, Powerplant Mall, Rustan's Makati and Shangri-la for Php1,895.00 (approx $43.00).
Feel free to add them up on Facebook to learn more about products and contests.

Photo
Since my lashes are naturally short and sparse, I want to show the effect of the lashes in this angle as it will show how the Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara can actually hold my curl at the same time, defining each lash hairs creating thickness and volume.

For me to be able to create a "Doll Eyed" look, I have to apply at least 5-6 coats of Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara brushing at the end with a spoolie.
