Absolute New York Perfect Pair Gradient Lip Duo in Rose Wood Review

Let's talk about dual purpose products!  I got a whole bunch of Absolute New York products when they were officially launched in the Philippines but this lipstick caught my attention in so many ways.

1. Cute packaging.

2. Great Shade.

3. Dual purpose - it comes with a lip liner and lipstick!

4. And can you just see the gradient color of the packaging?  The color of the packaging is similar as the color of the lipstick!  You got me at that Absolute New York!

This was the first lipstick from the brand that I tried!  I took it out from the bunch and tested this out immediately!  The launch happened several months ago and I took time to really test this out!  I am finally ready to share my thoughts on this!

 A 2-in-1 lip duo of complementary shades to line and fill in the lips. It's specially formulated to glide on and blend effortlessly for a creamy, satin ombre look.

Why I love such product? Absolute New York products are Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, Phthalate Free, Fragrance Free and are VEGAN and Cruelty-Free!  

This nifty packaging is perfect!  A twist-type packaging with lip liner on 1 side and the lipstick on the other side. 

The lip liner is a share or 2 darker than the lip color which can also double up as a lipstick so you get at least 2-3 shades of lipstick in one!  If that's not savings, I don't know how you'd call it!

Dearberry Lip Service and Flirt Lipsticks Review

Start of the week once again and I am claiming Monday to be a Lipstick-choice day!  I enjoy sharing my lipstick find on a Monday because this is my ultimate "I'm so lazy to get up day and I want more sleep!"  So the best way to look presentable is whip out the best-looking shade of lipstick that matches your complexion!

Dearberry has 2 new lipsticks called Lip Service and Flirt.

Judging by the look on packaging, Lip Service is housed in a black box and black packaging which translates to a more mature side.  As for Flirt, the name says it all, this line is more playful, girly and just plain....flirty!  The packaging is also housed in a pink tube similar as the box!

My #MaryKayBeautyOnTheGo Looks

As a busy individual (Note: I'm not talking about just being a busy mom so this tutorial is for EVERYONE!)  I know on most days, I only have less than 5 minutes to do my makeup so if you can see my photo collage below, you can see the key products I use.. can you spot them?

That's why when I was challenged by Mary Kay Philippines to create my own version of #MaryKayBeautyOnTheGo looks using these....

...it doesn't feel like a challenge at all, because this is how I usually wear my makeup!

To start with, I usually spot conceal areas around my face that needed coverage, that's the undereye area and red spots on the sides of my nose.

I like to use a lightweight press powder and for this tutorial, I used Mary Kay On-The-Go Mineral Pressed Powder in Ivory 2 (Php699.00).  There isn't much coverage on this but it sets my concealer pretty well and I like the fact that this is mineral-based so it's safe even around kids.

And the more surprising part, I was able to wear all 14 shades for you to easily pick your favorite shade! 
 

This collage will definitely show you why a woman can't have too much lipsticks!  See how each color changes my overall look even with the same makeup, same outfit and hair color?  You can easily spot the shades that work for me and shades that make me look, ahmmm...sick!  But hey, with all 14 shades, I don't have to worry!  I can easily mix and match and the best part?  They are 100% natural so these are my obvious choice of lip color especially when I'm around with my toddler!  Nothing beats him kissing me with the comfort of knowing my lipstick is safe!
