Kellie Stamps March Release Project Two

Kellie Stamps has extended the pre-order sale on the March sets
to midnight of the 19th, Australian time!
These sets are so versatile for pocket or scrapbook layouts!

Supllies: Kellie Stamps (Am Pm set),  Shimelle (green chipboard sticker, green patterned paper), Studio Calico ( dot and gold PP, washi tapes) , Heidi Swapp ( Minc foils, machine, die cuts, floral PP and "Lovely" die), Silhouette Cameo ( My Favorite , and Love cut files made from Kellie Stamps digital stamps)

Simply bring your digital stamps into the Silhouette Studio program, and trace the outer edge of your chosen stamp. Here, you can see I used the fill page feature then grouped them and rotated them to where I wanted.

Close up of the Heidi Swapp Minc Foiled Die Cuts, and the idea for washi and PP strips on the circles came from this Stephanie Bryan You-Tube Video! What a great page she made in that video!

Those two hot pink circle die cuts are foiled with the Heidi Swapp Minc machine as well, it's just not easy to photograph the reflective surface, but they are GORG! Got the idea for the page layout from the Shimelle Weekly Challenges at Shimelle.com, and this week's challenge is to use letters on a scrapbook page.

Thanks for stopping by today;
and hop over to Kellie Stamps for some great stamps to enhance your pocket pages and scrapbook layouts!

Kellie Stamps March 2016 New Release

March 5th is new release day at Kellie Stamps!
If you purchase both sets "AM PM' and "Go See Do",
you GET THE MINI WEEK CIRCLE SET FREE!
Win, win!

Made this with the digital set "AM, PM", love that with digital stamps you can simply bring them into your electronic cutting machine and turn them into a cut file! So versatile! Adding the sentiments inside the circles in this cut file from the Silhouette Store, gives you a cut file that says what you want, and I used the freebie, "Week Circle" set for the Tuesday at the top left.

Here, you can see how well the stamps cut, even reduced in size and placed inside the circles, using the weld feature inside the Silhouette Studio Software!

Used two pieces of white card stock so that I could raise the cut file up on dimensional foam, and leave some of the circles empty.

Can't get over how cute the Homebodies Papercrafting kit from Feed Your Craft is! Perfect for any story you wish to tell about your home, and what happens inside your home!  Even the black and white polka dot tissue paper they pack the kit with is perfect!! Used it behind some of the circles.

The "Homebodies Papercrafting Kit" and flair sets from Feed Your Craft
are adorable!

Also BIG NEWS- Kellie is offering clear stamps again! YAY!

Shimelle's Weekly Challenge, Go Monochromatic

For this week's challenge at
we're going monochromatic.
Pick one color,
(neutrals like black, white, gray, and brown don't count of course, because they are NOT colors and aren't on the color wheel)
and scrapbook with tints and shades of that color.
Blue-green is my fave, so obviously that was my choice!

Using Kellie Stamps new March 2016 Release "Go See Do" and American Crafts Shimelle Starshine paper. Simply used the digital stamps set from Kellie Stamps to create custom patterned paper using the "Road Trip" stamp and color matched it with the eyedropper tool in Photoshop, so that it would coordinate with the Shimelle Starshine paper. Starshine papers used: Galileo, Phoenix, and Rosetta.

This layout is based on a layout from Geralyn Sy at Studio Calico:

Just a few embellishments from my Clique Kits Feb. Kit.

Thanks for visiting today, and happy crafting!

Clique Kits Art Studio Mac Love Layout

Hello everyone! Artful Leigh here, to bring you a “sweet” layout about our current favorite sweet treats, macarons!

What’s your favorite sweet treat? It was so fun to make this layout about our family’s fave, and I used the Faber Castell Whipped Spackle and Pink Gumball Ranger Paint Dabber from the Clique Kits Store, to resemble frosting.

Love these Pinkfresh Studio papers! To me, the paper on the left with the half circles resembles the macarons, if you were to take each half apart. Perfect for this layout!

You can cut the exclusive cut files for October on standard office supply transparency film to create your own stencil to use over and over again. I label mine with washi tape and back with black card stock for added durability, and to make them easier to see!

Use a palette knife to spread your Whipped Spackle on like frosting!

Use the Ranger Pink Gumball Paint Dabber to apply the paint easily.

Use a craft knife or paper trimmer to trim out 3 inch by 3 inch patterned card stock diamonds as desired.

I printed my photos out at 2.75 inches so I could back them with a 3 inch vellum piece.

Cut out your cut-a-parts and add your favorite embellies from the October kit, and have fun! (I used Windsor Newton Lamp Black Artist Watercolor to splatter a bit)

This layout was made with the Clique Kits exclusive cut files, Faber Castell Whipped Spackle, Pink Gumball Ranger Paint Dabber available in the Clique Kits Store, and the October Funfetti Kit! Thank you for joining us here today!

10 Creative Ways To Use Digital Stamps: Blog Series Post Two

Hello crafty friends!
Today is the second post in my new blog series,
10 Creative Ways To Use Digital Stamps
featuring #KellieStamps.

IDEA #2: CUT IT!
Today we will be looking at using your digital stamps with an electronic die cutting machine.
I happen to own the Silhouette Cameo, so it's super easy to convert your SVG, PNG, or Studio files into a cut file using the TRACE feature on a Silhouette.

Here you can see the words at the top left corner from the Kellie Stamps Digital set
called "I am, You are, We are" and aren't the words amazing! (Dude, love that these are only $5) I love the font she uses, and it looks great paired with a script or handwritten font! I started in May of this year, using 6x8 blank pages in my Project Life Mini albums, and fell in love with the editorial style of the rectangle. So I am continuing to grow and adapt to this new way of designing! I LOVE it, and it seems so much easier for me!

Here are the steps to cut the digital stamps on a Silhouette (You can also search on You-tube for video tutorials on how to use digital files with your Silhouette) I learned a lot from Ashley Horton!
1) OPEN Silhouette Studio® Design Software. You can either double click on the digital stamp you have downloaded to your computer to put it on your Silhouette Workspace OR at the top left go to FILE>IMPORT>IMPORT TO LIBRARY
2) Move and size your digital stamp to suit your project ( the ones above are about an inch high )
3) Click at the top right in your Silhouette Workspace the TRACE icon ( it look like a butterfly in a blue square )
4) Click Select Trace area
5) Now move your cursor to make a rectangle around your digital stamp you want to turn into a cut file AND THEN UNCHECK HIGH PASS FILTER
6) Click  TRACE
7) Move the original digital stamp off your workspace by dragging it with the cursor.
8) Send to Silhouette to cut
9) Make something pretty with your digital stamp cut files! :)

Close up of the cut file, and note how I stitched through it with a sewing machine. Love the texture it adds when working with a neutral palette.

Ha! Love this funny girl!

Clique Kits "I Love This Girl" Layout Using Exclusive Cut Files

Hello Friends! Leigh here, to highlight the exclusive digital cut files
from Clique Kits October Funfetti Kit.

This 8.5x11 layout's main focal point is the geometric cut file, an exclusive cut file that's included in your kit at Clique Kits. Love that!

This is the cut file I used, it's one of the many cut files you get each month.

Here's a close up the embellishments at the top of the page. Pinkfresh Studio wood veneer, and puffy stickers,  love these.

The #PinkfreshStudio wood veneer is perfect for bringing attention to the photos. The glassine bags from your kit, are used here to hold confetti, punched pieces, and the title.

Layout made with the Clique Kits October Funfetti kit.

Thank you for visiting,
hugs,
Arftul Leigh
