Artistique Parfumiers is a new collection of scents by Avon inspired by their beginnings as a California Perfume Company back in 1886. Perfumers were inspired by personal memories and created three fragrances called Iris Fetiche, Magnolia en Fleurs and Patchouli Indulgence. These scents represent journey into the craftsmanship of perfumery that began in Paris back when Avon was created.

Avon has launched many of my all time favorite fragrances and I always look forward to what they'll bring out next. I've said many times that they have one of the best and most affordable fragrances out there. It's just a bit harder to buy, which must be the main reason why many don't own them. Attraction is one of best selling ranges and they have recently added a new version called Sensation. 

I didn't wear much makeup in October, so I don't have a lot of favorites. Most of the new products I've just started using at the end of the month, but already love them. Some are just standard fall products that I always go back to in this time of year.

August has left the building and so has summer. I'm finishing this post on a rainy afternoon, but my favorites are still very much connected to those hot summery days. I mostly have some new products that have impressed me this month, but also some that have been in my stash patiently waiting to be used again.

Today I'm talking about Avon Eve collection of perfumes - Eve Duet, Alluring and Confidence fragrances. Duet has been around for a while, but Alluring and Confidence are brand new. I've had time to test them and here are my thoughts. 

I am not usually a creature of habit. More or less, I'm stuck on my latest newest products, but this month I've come back to some of my oldies. I am mostly featuring products I have already reviewed and that are very much loved through the whole year. I'm also concentrating more on skin care bits, since the cold weather is not doing my skin any good these days.

This month was the easiest to pick favorites, because I knew exactly what I used the most and which products really impressed me. I have some fun new products that I discovered as well as some of my fall staples. 

Bipa Look By Bipa Matte Camouflage Concealer - 010 Light

I have been neglecting my Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer and you know I absolutely love that one. But ever since I got this one from Bipa, I've just been grabbing it on daily basis. Why? Because it has even better coverage than Catrice. It dries down matte and is very long lasting. It reminds me of Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. It doesn't grab in my lines, but is not as hydrating as Catrice, so my fine lines can look drier. But the coverage is what I love so much and the fact that the shade 010 Light is actually really light. 

Catrice LE Kaviar Gauche Highlighter - C01 Eclat D'Or

Everyone is gushing over Catrice's Limited Edition Kaviar Gauche and for a good reason. It's the most luxurious looking collection with nude leather look and gold details. I too love the whole collection and am tempted to buy the brush collection, but I know I have too many brushes as it is. Not that I don't have too many highlighter also, but what can I say, it's an addition. I'm attracted to all things sparkly. This is by far one of the best Catrice highlighters. It looks pink and I do feel that it has a slight pink undertone to it (especially compared to my other highlighters), but it mostly just gives you a true champagne glow. The shimmer is so fine (like with Becca Pressed highlighters) and it looks almost like an oil on your face. It's not as obvious as some other highlighters, but you can definitely build it up to look intense. 

Essence LE Made To Sparkle Highlighting & Transforming Prismatic Palette - 01 Don't Let Anyone Ever Dull Your Sparkle

When I want a yellow gold highlight, I reach for the gold shade in this palette. It's again so finely milled and gives you such a nice sheen. A bit more intense and yellow gold, but nonetheless super pretty. 

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow - Kathleenlights

I absolutely adore gold shades and this one is almost leaning towards copper gold. It's the one shade that I've been putting on the lid this month whenever I wanted something more sparkly on top of all matte look. It pairs well with most neutrals and it gives you a lovely warm golden sheen. I love their creamy formula which is super pigmented and very easy to apply with your fingers. 

Beauty People Flash Fix Pearl Pigment Pact - 1.Ssum Light

This is by far one of my favorite purchases this year. I've been eyeing it on Ebay, but then Jolse launched this brand and it was 30% off, so I got it. It's basically small irregular sized glitter that is very tightly pressed into this small black pot. It applies best with your fingers and because it's dry, it grabs best on top of cream products. Otherwise it may fall down. It's a copper gold shade and it looks so good on top of any eyeshadow. If you love glittery sparkly eye looks, you would adore this. I am in my "Christmas mood" ever since I got it and always find a way to apply it on top of other shades. 

Bourjois Rouge Velvet The Lipstick - 12 Brunette

It has the most interesting texture that applies on the lips like a dream. You think that this can't possibly be matte of how creamy it goes on, but it instantly dries down to a complete matte look similar to matte liquid lipsticks. It's also very long lasting and surprisingly comfortable to wear. This shade is one of my favorites, as it's a brownish red that is perfect muted darker red for fall. I'll have a full review on my blog soon.

L.O.V. LIPaffair Color & Care Lipstick Matte - 950 Guilty Conscience

I already have a review of this, so I'm not going to go into details. It's a more thicker formula that applies lovely, is very pigmented and stays put very well. I just adore this brownish mauve shade as it looks so good with many different makeup looks. It's also comfortable to wear and the magnetic closing makes it feel super luxurious.

Kiko 3D Hydra Lipgloss - 18 Golden Sparkle

When I'm feeling something moisturizing and sparkly, I go for this lip gloss on top of lipsticks. It doesn't feel sticky, gives you nice amount of golden shine and makes my lips feel comfortable. I really like this shade, but the shimmer is so dense that I apply it just on the center of the lips most of the time. 

Avon Mark Gel Shine Nail Enamel - Head In Clouds

For some reason I don't really like grey shade, but this nail polish color grew on me. It's the perfect light nude for fall as it goes with any outfit and for some reason makes my nails look pretty. I love pastel shades in general and I've been wearing it a lot. It's also my favorite Avon nail polish formula, because it's nicely pigmented and stays on my nails well. 

The Library Of Fragrance - Baby Powder

I got sample of this fragrance from Mateja and I immediately like it. It's such a comforting, sleepy, powdery baby scent. I adore it. It may be a bit too harsh for some, but I absolutely love these warm powdery scents. Mateja has a mini review here and I agree with her that it also has a bit of that almond feel to it. 

Avon Mesmerize Black 

As soon as the weather gets cold, I grab this perfume. It's one of my favorites because it's a warm oriental fragrance. It's sweet in a way, because of the mandarin, but then it becomes very powerful and strong, because of the oriental base of sandalwood. It's a perfect mix of sweet, sophisticated and oriental strong. 

Pimkie Notebook

They sell this notebook in a set of two. One is black with floral notes and this one is sparkly gold mess that I've been loving. It's completely smooth to the touch, so no falling down glitter, and it has silver writing in the front that says NOTES, but you almost can't see it. I've been using it as a glittery prop for my blog photos and I adore it. Obviously, since it's gold and sparkly. 

Tuš - mug

I also wanted to share this adorable mug that I bought in Tuš. It immediately caught my eye. I have a thing for pastel pink in my decor this year and this one just seemed like a minimalist's dream. I also broke one of my mugs that has that same shape, so I needed a new one. Btw, I love using it for eating cereal or my morning cottage cheese mix. 

Stradivarius - Coat

If you're as small as me (I like to think I'm 157 cm, but apparently I'm even smaller) and big boobed, you'll know how hard it is to find anything that isn't too big, too long and that can fit in your boobs. I've been dreaming of camel structured coat for about two years. I should also mention that I'm allergic to wool and most of these coats all have some percentage of wool in it. So when I found one without it, with a fairly good fit, I was ecstatic. I got it fitted - shortened sleeves as well as shortened the length of it. It's a bit of an oversize look, but I love it so much. Surprisingly, it's also very warm. 

If you would take a look at my perfume collection, you would see more than half of them being by Avon. Part of this is that Avon sends me a lot of their fragrances, but I also keep most of them, because I just love their scents. I've said it many times, you get a huge amount of perfume for a really affordable price. A lot more affordable than in our drugstores. And they make really nice fragrances. When their Avon Attraction perfume came out, everyone raved about it. It was a definite crowd pleaser. Now they've added a new one called Avon Attraction Rush, which seems to be a stronger and sweeter version of the original.

The design is bronzy gold and you know I love me some gold. It comes in a gold bronze box with simplistic design. The bottle has an interesting trapezoid shape, if you look at it from bird's perspective. It's something different.

In the bottle you get 50 ml of eau de parfum and the regular price is 32€. But you can currently get it for 17.90€ here (Slovenia). 

The top is a gold square that you put over the spray pump. It doesn't actually close the spray down, but it sits over it, so you can't really press it by mistake. 

With the perfume I also got a lovely golden wire basket that looks so pretty. I'm already using it for displaying all of the perfumes that I currently use. 

Avon describes this scent as a floral oriental.

Top notes: wild strawberry leaf, pear and red grapefruit.

Middle notes: Indian jasmine, rose petals and violet.

Base notes: amber, dark chocolate and sandalwood.

The first sniff of the fragrance is quite powerful and it starts off a bit floral and just slightly fruity sweet. It starts lightweight and somewhat spring like to me. Then it gets more floral and it takes on a somewhat oriental feel, which I can only assume is because of the jasmine in it. But as the floral notes vanish, the sweet base takes over. I don't really smell dark chocolate that much, more sandalwood and amber, which are two of my favorite sweet notes. Sweet notes stay on the skin for the longest.

I would describe this fragrance as an elegant, sophisticated and very sexy. But in general, I would say oriental sweet. I don't get as much floral notes as I would have expected from the description. This is definitely for all of you sweet lovers that love that basic sweet notes with an oriental twist. 

It has a strong power from the beginning and on me it lasts a really long time. I can still smell it at the end of the day. After all, it's a eau de parfum and it has that good staying power. It might be too strong and a bit too sweet for some to use in the hotter months. I'd definitely categorize it more as an evening scent, but I wear it through the day. It's just my personal preference, sweet for every season. 

It has quickly become my new favorite fragrance. Ever since I got it, I've been using it and I can't put it down. It's just the perfect combination of fruity sweetness, light floral notes and strong oriental sweet base. It's so elegant in a way, but also sweet (but not in a corny way). If you are a sweet fragrance lover, but want something that also smells very sophisticated, then you'll definitely love this one.

Če bi pogledali mojo kolekcijo parfumov, bi hitro ugotovili, da je več kot polovica od njih od Avona. Deloma zaradi tega, ker me Avon redno obdaruje z njihovimi dišavami in deloma zato, ker večina ostane pri meni. In to zato, ker so mi res všeč. Večkrat sem omenila, da Avon ponuja velike količine parfumskih vodic za res ugodne cene. Veliko ugodnejše kot jih dobite v naših drogerijah. Poleg tega so njihove dišave res odlične. Ko je Avon predstavil svoj Avon Attraction parfum, sem slišala ogromno pohval. Zdaj je Avon v svojo zbirko dodal še Avon Attraction Rush verzijo, ki se mi zdi, da je močnejša in bolj sladka verzija originala.

Dizajn je bronasto zlat in če me poznate, veste da obožujem zlate odtenke. Parfum se nahaja v bronasto zlati škatli s preprostim dizajnom. Steklenička ima zanimivo obliko trapeza, če jo pogledate iz ptičje perspektive. Je nekaj drugačnega.

V steklenički je 50 ml parfumske vodice in redna cena je 32€. Trenutno lahko dišavo dobite za 17.90€ tukaj.

Pokrov je zlat v obliki kvadrata. Dejansko ne pokrije pumpice, ampak jo bolj kot ne zavaruje pred neželenimi pritiski. 

Skupaj z dišavo sem prejela tudi čudovito zlato kovinsko košaro. To že uporabljam za razstavljanje parfumov, ki so trenutno v moji dnevni uporabi. 

Yet another month has passed. This one seemed the most fallish and I've been enjoying watching warm colors of nature. I've also been testing some new products and a lot of those ended up being in my monthly favorites. 

Cold weather is definitely here and my lips are feeling it. I have those kind of lips that quickly get dry. I've noticed that it also has to do with how much I drink through the day, but nonetheless, heating and wind are not the best combination for me. This cream is the only product that I've been loyal too and that I feel can prevent major chapped lips. If your lips get chapped, this won't cure them over night, but it's the best product for maintaining lips in the best condition. I use it through the day, at night and in the morning. 

Hey Beauties!

Avon Little Black Dress perfume has become somewhat very popular and signature scent for a lot of perfume lovers. I also bought it once and found it a bit too grown up for my liking. Since then Avon came out with three variations of Little Dress. 

Little Black Dress had a very simplistic square bottom design and name tag. Avon has decided to revamp the visual design of it as well as bottle shape. I actually like newer version better, because the name is more visible and background color of perfume makes it easier to spot it out from the collection. 

They've also changed the caps. Some are black and some transparent. Avon embossed design has been added to the spritz top and it helps to promote the brand even further. 

The bottle also got a bit rounded in the front, but stayed flat at the back. I also don't mind the classic square bottle, because it's very easy to store and travel with. 

Each bottle comes with 50 ml of eau de parfum and regular price of these is 26€, but currently they are on offer for 17.90€ (here). 

Little Black Dress

It's described as floral oriental perfume with notes of cyclamen, ylang-ylang and plum. 

It starts as a very floral burst. It goes into a bit deeper floral scent, a more sophisticated and less fresh version. Plum is the last one and it makes it a bit sweeter and slightly deeper, but still very sophisticated version and not too oriental.

I would say that this is for all of those floral lovers. It's very fresh floral at the beginning and later becomes a bit sweeter oriental version. I still wouldn't call it a true woody oriental scent, but a sophisticated sweet floral version. I can see why so many love it, because I find floral perfumes as one of the most popular, especially among adults. I personally am not a big fan of this scent, since I am not a fan of floral fragrances in general. That is why I gave it to my mom (I got it ages ago). 

As you can see, I have the old bottle. New actually has black background with gold design and it looks very elegant and simple. 

Little Black Dress Eau Fraiche*

Avon describes it as oriental floral fresh perfume with notes of juicy lemon oil, pink peony and musk.

The very first thing that you notice when you spritz it is freshness of a lemon. Immediately after that burst of citrus, it starts to get very floral and peony overpowers lemon. Later the musk starts kicking in and it overpowers both, peony and lemon. I think the name can be a bit misleading, because it indicated something very fresh. It's definitely not fresh citrus perfume, but more of a floral oriental. Lemon vanishes quickly and flowers make it a bit more subtle, but the musk at the end makes it still kind of oriental and warm, but just a fresher and less intense version.

If you're someone like me who detests citrus and green perfumes, you'll love this one, because is just fresh enough and still has a warm sweet musky base. If you're one of those that thinks this is something citrusy, light and fresh for you, it's not and I wouldn't recommend you to get it purely based of the name of it. I would call this fresher floral oriental version for hotter days for those that swear on sweet oriental perfumes.

As a comparison, I find it similar to Pur Blanca by Avon, but Pur Blanca is a lot fresher, more creamy and doesn't have that strong oriental base. 

I love light green design to it and the black makes it look very sophisticated and fresh. 

Little Red Dress*

According to Avon this is oriental fruity perfume with notes of raspberry, rose and sandalwood. 

The first thing that you smell is a very sweet almost a bit artificial raspberry. Floral notes come in next and they are very subtle, making the scent a bit more elegant and less sweet. At the end comes sandalwood which makes the fragrance a lot deeper and sexier. This is definitely a sweet scent. It starts as sickly fruity sweet scent, then gets a bit more floral and sandalwood makes it woody, oriental and all in all becomes sophisticated not overpowering sweet version. 

This is for all of us who love fruity sweet fragrances with nice punch of oriental base. It's a classic among sweet lovers and I think this is definitely my favorite scent of this collection. 

Red and gold design wins me over. It's probably my favorite combination, since I love red lipsticks and gold everything. 

Little Lace Dress*

The last version is described as floral oriental perfume with notes of Sicilian mandarin, black iris and patchouli.

At the beginning this feels very green or grassy (I suppose this is patchouli). After that you can smell mandarin kicking in with the sweetness. At the end it becomes a lot deeper oriental scent with very subtle sweetness. This is definitely an interesting scent, because it starts of very kind of herbal and green, but quickly becomes sweeter and at the end very deep oriental scent. On me it's actually really sweet, but not sickly cheap sweet, still very sophisticated, but definitely the warmest of all of these scents.  

This one is for all you oriental lovers. I find it the most oriental scent from this collection and also the strongest in terms of power. It's definitely one of those night time or even wintery scents. This is my second favorite. I think I'm going to use it more in the fall time. 

Avon Little Lace Dress has by far the best design. I love lace and design on the back of it is super pretty paired with gold. It's definitely one of those bottles that you won't need to hide in drawers. 

As far as long lasting power goes, these are not as long lasting as some other Avon perfumes that I own. I find them a lot lighter in power and they stay on me for approximately 4 hours and then I would need to reapply it, because the scent fades. If that's a bother for you, then these are definitely not for you.  

I also got this really cute tester book with all four Little Dress perfume samples. Such a lovely packaged PR sample. 

The fact that I liked all three new versions, surprised me. In the beginning I was sure that Little Black Dress Eau Fraiche would be too fresh for my liking, but is actually a bit fresher floral oriental version of most of my sweet perfumes. Little Red Dress is an absolute winner and a sweet lovers must have scent. Little Lace Dress is deeper strong oriental scent, perfect for night time and colder months. Little Black Dress is the only version that I find too floral for my personal taste.

Avon Little Black Dress je postal precej popularen parfum za mnoge ljubitelje parfumov. Tudi sama sem ga kupila že dolgo časa nazaj, vendar se mi je zdel preveč odrasel vonj za moj okus. Od takrat je Avon izdal še tri različice majhne oblekice ali Little Dress,

Little Black Dress je imela zelo preprost dizajn s kvadratno stekleničko in napisom. Avon se je odločil, da malo osveži dizajn in tudi samo obliko stekleničke. Meni osebno je nova verzija všeč, ker je ime bolj vidno in barva ozadja nakazuje za kateri parfum gre. Tako jih je tudi ležje ločiti iz kolekcije parfumov.

Spremenili so tudi pokrove. Nekateri so črni, nekateri prozorni. Avon je vgraviral ime svoje znamke na vrh šprice. 

Tudi steklenička se jemalo spremenila. Naprej je malo zaobljena, odzadaj pa ravna. Sama nimam nič proti klasični kvadratni obliki stekleničke, ker jo z lahkoto shranjujem, prav tako pa je priročna za potovanja. 

V vsaki steklenički je 50 ml parfuma in redna cena teh je 26€, ampak trenutno jih lahko dobite za 17.90€ (tukaj). 

Little Black Dress

Opisan je kot cvetlično orientalski vonj z notami ciklame, ylang-ylanga in slive.

Začne se z zelo cvetličnim vonjem. Kasneje se ta cvetlični vonj prelevi v močnejši cvetlični vonj, bolj sofisticiran in malo manj svež. Sliva je zadnja nota, ki vonj naredi bolj sladkast in močnejši, ampak še vedno precej sofisticirano verzijo, ki ni preveč orientalska.

Meni se zdi ta vonj odličen za vse, ki obožujejo cvetlične parfume. Na začetku je precej svež cvetličen vonj, ki kasneje postane malo bolj sladka orientalska verzija. Vseeno ne bi trdila, da je to pravi orientalski vonj, ampak bolj sofisticirana verzija cvetličenega. Razumem zakaj je tako popularen in zakaj je večini všeč, ker se mi zdi, da so cvetlični vonji precej popularni, sploh med starejšo populacijo. Osebno nisem navdušenka tega vonja, ker tudi na sploh ne maram preveč cvetličnih vonjev. Zato sem ga podarila mami (imam ga že kar nekaj časa).

Kot lahko vidite imam jaz staro verzijo stekleničke. Nova ima črno ozadje in zlate detajle. Izgleda res elegantno in preprosto. 

Little Black Dress Eau Fraiche*

Avon opiše ta vonj kot orientalsko cvetličen z notami sočnega limoninega olja, rožnate potonike in mošusa.

Prvi val vonja je precej svež in limonast. Takoj po tej invaziji citrusov sledi cvetličen vonj potonike, ki nadvlada limono. Kasneje se začne čutiti mošus, ki nadvlada oba, limono in potoniko. Zdi se mi, da je lahko ime zavajajoče, saj boste pričakovali nekaj svežega. Ta vonj zagotovo ni svež, citrusen, ampak bolj cvetlično orientalski. Limona zelo hitro izgine. Nadomesti jo potonika, ki celoten parfum naredi bolj nežen. Mošus na koncu doda orientalski topel pridih, ki pa je še vedno precej svež in manj intenzivna verzija orientalskih parfumov.

Če kot jaz sovražite citrusne in sveže zelene vonje, potem vam bo ta zagotovo všeč. Je svež, vendar še vedno precej sladkast in orientalski zaradi mošusa kot podlage. Če pa ste nekdo, ki misli, da je to citrusen, lahek in svež vonj, potem vas bo razočaral in vam ga odsvetujem. Sama bi ta vonj poimenovala kot bolj svežo orientalsko verzijo za vroče dni za vse nas, ki prisegamo na sladke orientalske parfume. 

Malo me spominja na Avon Pur Blanca, ki pa je bolj svež, kremast in nima tako močne orientalske podlage. 

Zelo mi je všeč svetlo zelen dizajn v kombinaciji s črno. Izgleda tako sofisticirano in hkrati sveže.

Little Red Dress*

Glede na Avonov opis, gre za orientalsko saden vonj z notami maline, vrtnice in sandalovine. 

Prvi vonj, ki ga takoj prepoznate je malina. Ta je skoraj malo umetna in izredno sladka. Cvetlične note so naslednje in so precej nežne. Parfumu dodajajo elegantnost in omilijo sladkost. Na koncu se izredno čuti sandalovina, ki daje parfumu globino in ga naredi bolj seksi. To je zagotovo sladek vonj. Začne se izredno sadno sladko, potem postane malo bolj sofisticirana cvetlična varianta in na koncu sandalovina doda lesnost, orientalskost in na sploh postane sofisticiran sladkast vonj. 

Ta parfum je za vse nas ljubitelje sadno sladkih vonjev z dodatkom orientalske podlage. Jaz bi ga označila kot klasiko med ljubitelji sladkih vonjev in je zagotovo moj najljubši vonj izmed celotne kolekcije. 

Rdeč in zlat dizajn me je osvojil. Gre za verjetno mojo najljubšo kombinacijo. Obožujem rdeče šminke in vse kar je zlato. 

Little Lace Dress*

Zadnja verzija je opisana kot cvetlično orientalski parfum z notami sicilijske mandarine, črne perunike in pačulija.

Na začetku je ta vonj precej zelen, skoraj travnat (verjetno je to pačuli). Potem se začne čutiti mandarino in njeno sladkost. Na koncu postane zelo močan orientalski vonj z nežno sladkostjo. Ta kombinacija mi je izredno zanimiva, ker se začne skoraj zeliščno in zeleno, ampak hitro postane sladko in na koncu precej orientalsko. Na meni je zelo sladek vonj, ki pa ni tisti poceni sladkast vonj. Vsekakor sofisticirana verzija in zagotovo najbolj močan vonj izmed celotne kolekcije. 

Ta je za vse ljubitelje orientalskih parfumov. Čeprav pri vseh piše orientalski, je ta zagotov najbolj orientalski izmed celotne kolekcije. Prav tako pa tudi najbolj močan. Je en izmed vonjev za večere ali celo mrzle mesece. Ta je moj drugi najljubši vonj. Se mi zdi, da ga bom več uporabljala v jesenskem času. 

Avon Little Lace Dress ima zagotovo najlepši dizajn. Obožujem čipko in v kombinaciji z zlato izgleda odlično. Steklenička, ki je ne boste skrivali po predalih. 

Dobila sem tudi knjigo z vzorci vseh štirih Little Dress parfumov. Čudovit PR izdelek.

Bila sem kar presenečena, da so mi bile všeč vse nove tri verzije parfumov. Na začetku sem bila namreč prepričana, da mi Little Black Dress Eau Fraiche ne bo všeč, ker bo preveč svež. Na moje presenečenje, je to samo bolj sveža cvetlično orientalska verzija mojih izredno sladkih parfumov. Little Red Dress je moj absolutni zmagovalec za vse, ki obožujejo sladke vonje. Če ste med njimi tudi vi, je to vsekakor parfum za vas. Little Lace Dress je močnejša orientalska verzija, popolna za večere in hladne mesece. Little Black Dress je edina verzija, ki je zame osebno preveč cvetlična.
