Hey Beauties!

Valentine's Day is coming up and I couldn't not notice it, because it's literally mentioned on every single platform that I read. I think we should do something nice for a person we love on weekly basis, not just once a year. But I'll admit, it's nice to have an excuse one day a year, where you can be as corny and sweet or sexy, as you'd like to be. Unfortunately, this year I'll be working for Valentine's Day (yep, student jobs - don't get me started!), so I decided to leave you with a little date makeup look that would probably suit most skin tone. 

I love gold eye shadows, because I think they look particularly good with any skin tone. Gold is warm shade that lifts up any eye and it looks amazing under dim lighting or night time dates. Pink is universally most used shade of lipstick, although you may know, I'm not a fan. But since, I posted my Avon Ultra Color Indulgence swatches, I've been kind of liking some of the pinks. Go figure!

I started by building warm matte brown shade in and above the crease. I used lighter warm brown in the crease and a bit up. Then I added cooler light brown shade in the very crease. I added warm gold shade only on the center of the lid. I added dark matte brown eye shadow along the lash line. Then I went over it with brown eyeliner. You can stop here, but of course I just thought the look needed black winged liner. You may know, I do like that a lot.
