Sweet2Repeat Blog Hop for SugarPea Designs

Today is our Sweet2Repeat blog hop! I am SO excited to share my simple, last minute Christmas cards I created for my Christmas stash! I cut some white paper to 2.5" x 4". Then I stamped the boughs and the cones and added some berries with my red Copic marker. The sentiment is also stamped in red. 

Then I embossed the white card base and added a red layer behind my stamped panels. I popped them up onto dimensionals and used some gold washi tape for the bottom of each card.

Surprise Birthday Hop for Wendy Ramlakhan

Happy birthday, Wendy!!! Surprise!! We are having a Birthday blog hop in your honour! I used "Tropic Like It's Hot" and Sweet Sentiments-You to create a fun, Fall birthday themed card for you! 

One of the greatest things that has ever happened to me artistically is being chosen by Wendy to design for SugarPea Designs. I was floored and so delighted to be chosen to join the team. I have been on the team for a few years now and I love it! Wendy is generous, gracious and lovely! Oh and she has a wicked sense of humour! She is a dear friend!

SugarPea Designs-Holiday Product Release Day 4

SugarPea Designs-Holiday Product Release Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the SugarPea Designs Holiday Product Release! Today we are featuring my two favourite sets! I love the boughs and the pine cones and the snowflakes are super delicate!

I love using both traditional and non-traditional colours on cards. This snowflake card will be easy to mass produce. I think I will skip the top layer and just do a single layer card for my other cards. I love that you could use any colour combo! Pink and greens are so pretty together for Christmas!

When I work with boughs and cones, I love adding layers. The new paper pad from the last release called "Spots and Stripes" has the perfect RED paper in it! 

I stamped the boughs in a dark green and then stamped again without re-inking the bough...that way I got the nice faded look I wanted.
