Time for another round of 5 Mini Reviews I think? I've used up these five samples recently which all came into my life via various beauty boxes.

Time for a 5 Mini Reviews post - this is where I share my thoughts on the last five beauty samples that I've tried and used up recently. Mostly skincare this time around and all products that I don't think I've mentioned on here before.

5 Mini Reviews: Essential Care, Pomegranate Organics, Korres, Weleda & Wen
Tuesday, 12 November 2013
Here are five samples that I've used up recently, featuring a mix of haircare, skincare and bodycare. I plucked them out of my travel bag at the weekend when I was swapping around some products and gave myself a little pat on the back for finally using some more samples up! (I'm weird, I know... lol) Anyway! Onto the mini reviews.

I have seriously been slacking on the samples front! My Wonder Woman tin is full to bursting again so it's time to get it back under control. To kick things off, I've managed to finish these five off recently which have been stashed away in my travel bag. Here are my thoughts on them.

I set aside these samples a while ago and have only just gotten around to finishing them all up. It's safe to say that my samples stash is in a much more manageable state these days. I can finally close my Wonder Woman Tin properly!
5 Mini Reviews: Talika, REN, Cowshed, L'Occitane & NEOM
Saturday, 9 February 2013
Time for a 5 Mini Reviews post - I've been seriously slacking on the 'using up samples' front recently, so it's been something of an achievement to finish these five recently!
(1) Talika Lipocils Expert Eyelash Primer
I wasn't expecting this to do anything when I first began using it, but instantly my lashes looked thicker, more pigmented and held their curl longer than they usually would. Impressive! It was easy to apply and didn't irritate my eyes either.
(2) REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Cream
A subtle and fresh rose scent accompanied this easily absorbed body lotion so I really enjoyed using this mini bottle of it. It's quite light though, so not heavy duty enough for my dry winter skin, but would be lovely to use during the summer months instead.
(3) Cowshed Wild Cow Invigorating Bath & Shower Gel
I wasn't that keen on the lemongrass and ginger smell of this, so it's my least favourite Cowshed scent that I've tried out, but it's a lovely non-drying formula for a natural shower gel.
(4) L'Occitane Volumising Hair Mask
This one use sample sadly didn't add any volume to my medium-thick hair but it did defrizz it a treat so I'd consider purchasing a full size bottle of it just for that reason alone.
(5) NEOM Bath Oil in Complete Bliss
Heavenly modern rose scent for a truly indulgent bath. I know I always say this, but if you enjoy relaxing baths and haven't yet tried out NEOM bath oils, then you really need to!
Have you tried any of these?

5 Mini Reviews: L'Occitane, Clinique, LUSH, Nivea & balance Me
Thursday, 13 December 2012
(1) L'Occitane Repairing Conditioner
Only a one use sachet but one that I really enjoyed using. Formulated for dry and damaged hair, it left my hair feeling stronger and looking healthier straight away which is pretty amazing! Definitely will be picking up a full size bottle when I've used up some of my current hair conditioners.
(2) Clinique 7 Day Scrub Cream
Have used samples of this in the past and it's a good fragrance-free cream based exfoliator. I'd say it's a bit too abrasive to use on a daily basis as they suggest, but it's one I liked to use twice a week in my skincare routine instead.
(3) LUSH Mask Of Magnaminty
This face mask has been recommended to me countless times, so when I experienced an annoying breakout across my chin last week, I popped into LUSH to get a sample to try out. It cleared everything up in one go, very impressed! Smells fresh and minty too! Seriously worth trying out if you have spot-prone/breakout/oily/ problem skin.
(4) Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer
I had high hopes for this, but it just didn't work for me and caused the above mentioned breakout :(
(5) balance Me Stellar Face Balm*
Loved using this multi-purpose balm on all my dry bits (lips, around the nose when you have a cold, cuticles, elbows, heels etc) and found it very effective. The full size is pretty expensive at £18 a pot, so I'd probably only purchase the travel size in the future. You can also use it as a hydrating face mask if you have dry skin.
Have you tried any of these?
