This is the disturbing moment a Washington D.C. business owner racially-abused a Uber delivery driver for not speaking English.

The viral TikTok video showed Uber Eats driver Gregorio Amundara being yelled at by Canna Coffee owner Greg Harris for only being able to talk in Spanish when he went to pick up an order on Monday.

The Metropolitan Police Department said it a statement that it is 'investigating this offense as potentially being motivated by hate or bias.'

The owner of Canna Coffee could be seen grabbing the cell phone of the young Venezuelan, who used another device to record the racially-fueled exchange.

'You're here in America, you need to learn it. Learn English! Learn it,' he said. 'You're getting money in America. This is the new get money in America, learn English.'

Amundarain responded to the irate business owner by telling him, 'No speak English,' before he continued scold him.

'I don't give a f***, learn it. Learn it,' the coffee shop owner said. 'You're riding on the roads, learn English mother*****.'

Amundara kept his poise all the time saying, 'He is insulting just for coming to pick up an order … I do not know what he is telling me.'

The coffee shop owner remained in the back berating him before he approached him once again and screamed, 'This ain't your f****** country, this ain't your f***** country. Learn English. Learn English. This ain't your f***** country. F*** wrong with you.'

He then moved away from the camera and could be heard in the background appearing to make fun of Amundara's accent.

Moments later, he stepped up to the stunned Uber Eats deliver worker and stuffed a paper bag into his chest.

'Learn English,' he once again said.

Amundara subsequently calmly walked out of the shop and spoke into the camera, 'He is insulting me and I don't understand what he is even saying.'

The restaurant owner followed Amundara out to the street and told him, 'You better not,' before the recording came to an end.

Amundara told Fox 5 DC that he recorded the exchange once the owner stepped out of line.

'There was no need for me to be treated so disrespectfully,' he said. 'I don't want this to happen to anyone else.'

DailyMail.com reached out to Canna Coffee, but all phone calls were directed to its voicemail.

A Uber spokesperson told DailyMail.com that Canna Coffee has been removed from its listings.

'We are absolutely disgusted by this behavior,' the spokesperson said. 'Uber is proud to help people from many backgrounds find work in their communities, and hate has no place on our platform. We have removed this business from the app.'
