Obstinate, Headstrong Girl

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing some mini-album pages I've made using the fabulous Obstinate Headstrong Girl collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

You should never waste the cover sheet!
The album was pre-bought and holds 6x8 pages (or any size you like really up to 6x8)
One of the best things about having digital collections is that you can print the papers on both sides. I've printed a pattern and a contrasting solid on the same sheet here.
I've added some pockets and photo mats.
I love how pretty this collection is!

Here the pages are opened out.
And folded back up again. As you can see there are some beautiful images included in the collection.
The yellow mat is a flap so will take 2 6x4 photos.
These are 4x3 photos. I use the Selphy App which lets me combine 2 4x3 pictures onto 1 6x4 print.
These pages also take 6x4 photos. These are from our holiday last December.
These were taken a week apart! Blue skies and sunshine in Malaga, and woolly hat and Christmas gloves in Leeds!
As Neil very kindly pointed out, the poinsettias are upside down! No one likes a smart ar*e!

As always the collection is available in both digital and A4 format.
I hope you like my pages, I'll certainly be adding more, and hopefully some Summer photographs.
Take care and have a wonderful week.

Down on the Farm!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Well, we've finally made it into February! January has been the longest month year ever!

I know we're not out of Winter yet, but I'm looking forward to some brighter and warmer days. We were going to take my Granddaughter to a petting zoo last week, but the winds put paid to that. So in readiness for our trip later this week, I've made a loaded pocket.

I've used papers from the Relatively Thoughtful Easter Farm collection. These are so fresh and clean, and perfect for Spring makes.

I've made one of these before with the Sherlock Holmes collection. If you would like to see how that turned out, please click here
Again I've followed the tutorial from Paul Lang-Ford and I'll put the links to his Facebook group and YouTube page at the bottom.
This is the front with two large pockets.
I also cut out some of the cute animals from the cut-apart sheets. I'll add some journaling on these when I add them to the photographs.
I've trimmed the corners and added some twine to turn them into tags.
I've also cut these from the cut-apart sheets to add to the front and back.
Such cuties!
And these are the photo-mats that fit inside the pocket. They take a full 6x4 photograph, and I can also add a tag with dates and places etc.
I'll fit the photos with adhesive photo corners so that I can slide in the tag underneath with any journaling or info that I want to put on.

And this is the front all decorated up. I can put more photos in here too. The photo mats just slide inside the wallet.
As always the collection is available in both digital and A4 collections.
Take care, and have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing xx

Love Letters From Jane

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful new Love Letters collection from Relatively Thoughtful, and a tutorial from Paul Lang-Ford (Papercrafting with Paul)

The tutorial is available for everyone to watch for free, so I'm not going to go into how this was made, except to say that it's very clever, and fits perfectly into a 6x6 envelope.
I've cut and matted my layers from the Love Letters papers. The two 4x3s are from the Stamperia Romance Forever 8x8 collection that Sally has in the store.
I've also die-cut a sentiment for one of the panels.
And here it is! It stands up beautifully and then folds perfectly to fit the envelope. Paul really is a genius with his card theory and measurements.
These papers are just so pretty!
And the Romance Forever collection co-ordinates perfectly.
I've added a few pearls and gems for decoration.
And of course, a bit of stitching just to finish it all off.
As always, the collection is available in both A4 papers, and a digital download.

Here's Alice Again

Good morning, a very happy Sunday. I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We took our decorations down yesterday, and the house looks really bare now. It also means that I have to dust again, I can't just hide it all behind the cards lol.

I've made some clusters for my first project of the year for Relatively Thoughtful. Until a couple of months ago I didn't know what clusters were, but they are handy for adding to mini albums, either for journaling, or just something pretty to look at.

I started by choosing my papers, cut-aparts and die cuts from the Alice In Wonderland collection.

Then I played around with the layers and images.

This is what they look like in the Alice Album.

You can buy the collection here in the store.
Take care, stay warm, and enjoy the rest of your weekend xx

Alice - Not Just For Christmas

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I've mixed up a couple of my favourite Relatively Thoughtful collections from this year, and made an Alice Christmas Card.

Yeah, Alice and the Cheshire Cat weren't originally wearing Santa hats or bright red bow ties. I don't know why, I guess Sally just didn't think about it lol.
I started by cutting out my layers (yes of course I gut my papers do you KNOW the price of postage!!). To be honest all of my cards are always large letters, and sometimes it's a struggle to get them in the envelopes. I attached my hats and bows to the Alice images, then backed them onto some black card to give them a bit more strength.
Rockin' the look!
Always blame the cat!
I absolutely love the blues in the Not Just For Christmas collection.
As always the collections are available in both digital and A4 Craft Packs
A4 Cutting Pages

I hope you like my mixed-up card, and that your own Christmas preparations are coming along well.
Take care and have a very happy weekend xx

An Egyptian Dream

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Just to have a little break from Christmas crafting, I've chosen one of my favourite Relatively Thoughtful collections and made a floating centre panel card, following a tutorial from Paul Ford (Papercrafting With Paul)

The colours are much brighter in real life, but we've reached the time of year when there is no sunshine here.
Isn't she beautiful! This image is actually one of the backing papers that I've cut down.
And the following are from one of the cut-apart sheets.
They are so vibrant in real life!
Wish I had eyebrows like this!
As always, the collection is available digitally and as an A4 Craft Pack. I'll include the links to Paul's Facebook group and YouTube account below.
