Hi I’m Debbie and I live in Gloucestershire – near Stroud.
I am very happily married to my sole mate John and have 3 handsome sons:
Jamie - 30, Aaron - 28 and Jack - 15
I am also a very proud Grandma to 3 beautiful Grandchildren Oliver, Lola Arizona and Ruby Mae.
My crafty addiction started just over 5 years ago when I decided to stop smoking and needed something to do with my hands and I bought my first scrapbook making kit. I soon moved into card making and that’s when the addiction really took hold – going from 3 nesting boxes of stash I used to craft with at the kitchen table , then progressing to a few drawers and moving into the dining room to a complete crafty haven full to bursting - although I always seem to manage to find space for lovely new crafty stash on a regular basis!!!
I started my blog just over 4 years ago and have been completely hooked ever since.
I am amazed at the outstanding talent and inspiration out there in blog land.
I have made some amazing friends – both virtually and some I also have seen IRL.
I am fortunate enough to be on some fabulous Design Teams and mega thrilled to be joining the uber talented team here at The Hobby House.
My name is Debbie and I live in North East Lincolnshire. I work full time and have a beautiful seventeen year old daughter called Brogan who I have to say is my greatest creation. I have been crafting for many years which started off with cross stitching and lead on to embroidery classes. I started making cards about ten years ago and after buying my mum a ‘Mother’s Day’ card it occurred to me that I could do just as well. This then developed into scrapbooking, ATC’s and altered art.....beading, quilting etc.....Now I just want to try everything. I also enjoy walking, reading, gardening and photography but never have enough hours in the day. I couldn't draw to save myself but I love colouring.....I use Distress Inks, Promarkers, Copics and Prisma Pencils but have now started looking at Pan Pastels......because ‘I need them’......Paper crafting has become an obsession and I have a thing about designer papers especially spotty, dotty or polka dot papers.....and pearls.I started my blog just over two years ago and I have made so many wonderful friends along the way and I never fail to be inspired by everyone’s gorgeous creations.
Hi, my name is Janine and I live in North Yorkshire. I'm married to a very supportive hubby and we have 3 lovely teenage children. I'm a primary school cook, so I only work until 2 pm most days. When I'm not cooking at school, I'm cooking at home for my hungry clan or being Mum's taxi. Any spare time after that is spent crafting.
I made my first card about 10 years ago, bought lots of goodies and never really found the time to create anything. About 2 years ago I discovered Blogger and my craft world opened up! After spending a year being inspired by other people's posts I decided to take the plunge and write my own and haven't looked back since.
I love colouring with my Copics and am always trying to improve my techniques. My creations have begun to have more and more embellishments as time goes by and what better place for embellishments than The Hobby House! I don't think I've ever made a Clean and Simple card.
"My name is Pam and I live in Surrey, South East England. I work full time as a PA in London, which is ok but really gets in the way of what I want to be doing which is crafting! I have been crafting for some years. Both my parents were crafty. For as long as I can remember my Mum has always knitted and she also dabbled in some cross stitching. My Dad was great at sketching and drawing, he never really took it far but he was amazing. My crafty journey started in cross stitching which I continue to do when I can find the time! I moved into paper-craft and it completely took over my life! I started my blog nearly 3 years ago and my crafting skills have improved 100%, which is all down to the fabulous inspiration from all the crafters out there!
I have made some wonderful friends on my crafting journey which has been amazing. Long may it continue!"
