BBC Essex will be cooking up a storm in aid of Pudsey
|
BBC Essex presenters are heading to the kitchen this November for 'Chefs in Need' in aid of Children in Need. The pressure cooker event will see the stars of the station don their aprons for a cook-off at Charter Hall in Colchester on Wednesday, 17 November. Ken Crowther, Steve Scruton, Ray Clark and Sadie Nine, overseen by Timbo, will battle it out to be top of the pots. Tickets priced £10 go on sale at 10am on 27, October via the Charter Hall box office on 01206 282020 or its website. The cooking gets under way at 19.45 and will see the four presenters, ably assisted by two top professional chefs, Mark Baumann and Chris Pritchard of Baumanns Brasserie, trying to win a place in the final with their culinary cunning. Between the heats and final, there will also be a special demonstration of baking brilliance by the BBC Essex Sport team, who will swap their bats and balls for butter and bowls as they bake their legendary brownies.
