MIC Issues QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT Electrical Safety Standard for ICT and ITE Products

On 30th November 2022, the Vietnam MIC (Ministry of Information and Communications of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) has issued Circular 24/2022/TT-BTTTT with accompanying QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT Electrical Safety standard for ICT and ITE products. The QCVN 132: 2022/BTTTT standard is composed based on IEC 62368-1: 2018 and it will come into effect on January 1, 2024. The MIC temporary accepts IEC 62368-1:2018 test report issued by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test laboratories with corresponding technical requirements, for conformity assessment according to the QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT.
